Ingredient optimization plays a pivotal role in the copper industry,for which it is closely related to the concentrate utilization rate,stability of furnace conditions,and the quality of copper *** acquire a practical ingredient plan,which should exhibit long duration time with sufficient utilization and feeding stability for real applications,an ingredient plan optimization model is proposed in this study to effectively guarantee continuous production and stable furnace *** address the complex challenges posed by this integer programming model,including multiple coupling feeding stages,intricate constraints,and significant non-linearity,a multi-stage differential-multifactorial evolution algorithm is *** the proposed algorithm,the differential evolutionary(DE)algorithm is improved in three aspects to efficiently tackle challenges when optimizing the proposed ***,unlike traditional time-consuming serial approaches,the multifactorial evolutionary algorithm is utilized to optimize multiple complex models contained in the population of evolutionary algorithm caused by the feeding stability in a parallel ***,a repair algorithm is employed to adjust infeasible ingredient lists in a timely *** addition,a local search strategy taking feedback from the current optima and considering the different positions of global optimum is developed to avoiding premature convergence of the differential evolutionary ***,the simulation experiments considering different planning horizons using real data from the copper industry in China are conducted,which demonstrates the superiority of the proposed method on feeding duration and stability compared with other commonly deployed *** is practically helpful for reducing material cost as well as increasing production profit for the copper industry.

Nine piggyBac-like elements （PLEs） were identified from the cotton aphid Aphis gossypii Glover. All the PLEs shared high sequence similarity with each other. However, eight of the nine PLEs were unlikely to encode functional transposase due to the existence of disruptive mutations within the coding regions. The other one PLE contained major characteristics of members in the piggyBac family, including TTAA target site duplications, inverted terminal repeats （ITRs）, and an open reading frame （ORF） coding for a transposase with a putative DDD domain. This one with an intact transposase ORF was named AgoPLE1.1. The predicted transposase shared 47% similarity with that of Trichoplusia ni piggyBac IFP2. Phylogenetic analyses showed that AgoPLE1.1 was most related to the Heliothis virescens PLE1.1 （HvPLE1.1） element, with 45% and 60% similarity at the nucleotide and amino acid levels, respectively. A functional assay demonstrated that AgoPLE1.1 encoded a functional transposase and was able to cause precise excision in cell cultures. On the other hand, few genomic insertion polymorphisms of AgoPLEI were observed in the genome of the cotton aphid. These observations suggested that AgoPLE1.1 was a PLE that invaded the cotton aphid genome in recent periods and retained its activity.

Development of an Ultra-Sensitive and Flexible Piezoresistive Flow Sensor Using Vertical Graphene Nanosheets

This paper suggests development of a flexible,lightweight,and ultra-sensitive piezoresistive flow sensor based on vertical graphene nanosheets(VGNs) with a mazelike *** sensor was thoroughly characterized for steady-state and oscillatory water flow monitoring *** results demonstrated a high sensitivity(103.91 mV(mm/s)-1) and a very low-velocity detection threshold(1.127 mm s-1) in steady-state flow *** one of many potential applications,we demonstrated that the proposed VGNs/PDMS flow sensor can closely mimic the vestibular hair cell sensors housed inside the semicircular canals(SCCs).As a proof of concept,magnetic resonance imaging of the human inner ear was conducted to measure the dimensions of the SCCs and to develop a 3D printed lateral semicircular canal(LSCC).The sensor was embedded into the artificial LSCC and tested for various physiological *** obtained results indicate that the flow sensor is able to distinguish minute changes in the rotational axis physical geometry,frequency,and *** success of this study paves the way for extending this technology not only to vestibular organ prosthesis but also to other applications such as blood/urine flow monitoring,intravenous therapy(Ⅳ),water leakage monitoring,and unmanned underwater robots through incorporation of the appropriate packaging of devices.

The resistance to dieldrin gene(RDL)encodes the primary subunit of the insect ionotropic y-aminobutyric acid(GABA)receptor(GABAR),which is the target of phenylpyrazole and isoxazoline *** splice variants in exons 3 and 6 of RDL,which have been widely explored in many insects,modulate the agonist potency of the homomeric RDL GABAR and potentially play an important role in the development of *** the present study,four splice variants of exon 9 were identified in RDL of the small brown planthopper,Laodelphax striatellus(LsRDL),resulting in LsRDL-9sl,LsRDL-92l\LsRDL-9b,and ***-9a has one more amino acid(E,glutamic acid)compared with LsRDL-9a\and LsRDL-9b lacked two amino acids and had seven different amino acids compared with ***-electrode voltage-clamp recording on LsRDLs expressed in Xenopus oocytes showed that alternative splicing of exon 9 has significant impact on LsRDL sensitivity to the agonists GABA and 0-alanine,whereas no significant difference was observed in the potencies of the non-competitive antagonists(NCAs)ethiprole and fluralaner on the splice *** results suggest that alternative splicing of RDL exon 9 broadens functional capabilities of the GABAR in *** by influencing the action of GABA.

In this paper, a highly conservedpiggyBac-like sequence, designated as McrPLE was cloned from a lepidopteran insect, Macdunnoughia crassisigna. It is 2 472 bp long in full length with a single open reading frame and encodes a 595 amino acid transposase. It shares identical terminal and sub-terminal repeats with T. ni IFP2 and is flanked by the typical TTAA target-site duplications. Alignment and phylogenetic analysis revealed that McrPLE had greater than 99.5% identity and appeared to be the closest one in phylogeny to IFP2 among the PLEs so far found in various species. Plasmid-based excision and transposition assay proved it was mobile in cell culture. Otherwise, McrPLE element and all other highly conserved IFP2 sequences reported previously were found to share three common nucleotide substitutions. This suggests that the original IFP2 may be a related variant of a predecessor element that became widespread. The existence of nearly identical piggyBac sequence in reproductively isolated species was thought also a strong indication of horizontal transmission, which raises important considerations for the stability and practical use ofpiggyBac transformation vectors.

Two acetylcholinesterase （ace） genes have been reported in many insect species. In pests such as Helicoverpa assulta and Plutella xylostellas, acel gene encodes the predominant synaptic enzyme that is the main target of organophosphorus （OP） and carbamate pesticides. It has been reported that pesticide selection has an impact on the ace gene evolution. The domesticated silkworm, Bombyx mori, also has two ace genes. We studied ace gene expression and enzyme activities in silkworm as this has not faced pesticide selection over the past decades. The expression levels of two ace genes, Bm-acel and Bm-ace2, were estimated by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction. Bin-ace2 was expressed more highly than Bm-acel in all tested samples of different developmental stages or tissues, suggesting ace2, rather than acel, is the major type ofacetylcholinesterase （ACHE） in Bombyx mori. This is inconsistent with the aforementioned lepidopterons agricultural pests, partly be due to the widespread use of pesticides that may induce high expression of the acel gene in these pests. Besides high expression in the head, Bm-acel also expresses highly in the silk glands and Bm-ace2 is abundant in the germline, implying both ace genes may have potential non-hydrolytic roles in development. Furthermore, we found that the mRNA levels of two ace genes and their ratios （ace2/acel） change day to day in the first and third instars. This challenges the conventional method of estimating enzymatic activity using crude extract as an enzyme solution, as it is a mixture of ACHE 1 and ACHE2. An efficient and simple method for separating different ACHEs is necessary for reliable toxicological analyses.

Is it necessary to stent renal artery stenosis patients before cardiopulmonary bypass procedures？

Background Acute kidney injury （AKI） is associated with poor prognosis after cardiopulmonary bypass. The aim of this retrospective study was to investigate whether stent implantation before cardiopulmonary bypass has beneficial effect on development of AKI in renal artery stenosis （RAS） *** In this retrospective study, patients with abnormal baseline serum creatinine （SCr, 〉106 μmol/L） were not included. Included patients （n=69） were divided into two groups. Group 1 included 31 RAS patients receiving no stent implantation before cardiopulmonary bypass. Group 2 included 38 RAS patients having received stent implantation just before cardiopulmonary bypass. To assess AKI after cardiopulmonary bypass, serum urea nitrogen, SCr and creatinine clearance were recorded at baseline, at the end of operation, during the first and second postoperative 24 *** Baseline characteristics were similar between groups. Serum urea nitrogen, SCr, creatinine clearance before and after cardiopulmonary bypass were also similar class groups. Incidence of AKI in group 1 was not significantly different from group 2. In group 1, AKI defined by RIFLE between occurred in 7 （22.6%） patients： 5 （16.1%） with RIFLE-R,2 （6.5%） with RIFLE-I, and no patients with RIFLE-F. In group 2, 10 patients （26.3%） had an episode of AKI during hospitalization： 6 （15.8%） had RIFLE-R, 4 （10.5%） had RIFLE-I, and no patients had *** There are no data suggesting that it is necessary to stent RAS patients with normal SCr before cardiopulmonary bypass. However, it cannot be concluded that RAS is not associated with AKI after cardiopulmonary bypass
