Corneal collagen cross-linking and liposomal amphotericin B combination therapy for fungal keratitis in rabbits

AIM： To observe the therapeutic effect of corneal collagen cross-linking（CXL） in combination with liposomal amphotericin B in fungal corneal ***： New Zealand rabbits were induced fungal corneal ulcers by scratching and randomly divided into 3groups, i.e. control, treated with CXL, and combined therapy of CXL with 0.25% liposomal amphotericin B（n =5 each）. The corneal lesions were documented with slit-lamp and confocal microscopy on 3, 7, 14, 21 and 28 d after treatment. The corneas were examined with transmission electron microscopy（TEM） at ***： A rabbit corneal ulcer model of Fusarium was successfully established. The corneal epithelium defect areas in the two treatment groups were smaller than that in the control group on 3, 7, 14 and 21d（P 〈0.05）. The corneal epithelium defect areas of the combined group was smaller than that of the CXL group（P 〈0.05） on 7 and 14 d, but there were no statistical differences on 3, 21 and 28 d. The corneal epithelium defects of the two treatment groups have been healed by day 21. The corneal epithelium defects of the control group were healed on 28 d. The diameters of the corneal collagen fiber bundles（42.960 ±7.383 nm in the CXL group and 37.040±4.160 nm in the combined group） were thicker than that of the control group（24.900±1.868 nm）,but there was no difference between the two treatment groups. Some corneal collagen fiber bundles were distorted and with irregular arrangement, a large number of fibroblasts could be seen among them but no inflammatory cells in both treatment groups. CONCLUSION： CXL combined with liposomal amphotericin B have beneficial effects on fungal corneal ulcers. The combined therapy could alleviate corneal inflammattions, accelerate corneal repair, and shorten the course of disease.

In this paper,the fuel tank deflector of vehicle was designed based on DFSS design method,and its aerodynamic performance was *** the wind tunnel experiment,the drag coefficient Cd of vehicle was measured,and the velocity field was simulated by *** results show the flow field at the bottom of fuel tank is obviously improved,and the drag coefficient of vehicle is reduced by 0.004 due to using new optimized fuel tank ***,the DFSS is the efficient and helpful design method,and it can be used to design and optimize the part of vehicle.

Network Real-time Kinematic（NRTK） technology performs the error corrections in the Observation Space Representation（OSR） format, thereby being regardless of the temporal characteristics of various errors, and increasing transmission rate of corrections, while PPP usually requires a long initial convergence time, which restricts real-time mass-market applications. As a result, a new method, namely PPP-RTK, that combines the advantages of the two technologies began to develop. The current PPP-RTK technology mostly uses the "wide-lane/narrow-lane" method to achieve undifferenced ambiguity resolution, however, it is easy to amplify observation noise and is not easy to extend to multi-frequency observation. To this end, this paper derives the theoretical feasibility of PPP-RTK ambiguity resolution based on the original frequency observation, and conducts GPS/Galileo/BDS PPP-RTK tests in the scene of the intercity expressway from Hangzhou to Shanghai. Taking Multi-GNSS NRTK fixed solutions as the true coordinates, the results show that the correct fixing rate of Multi-GNSS PPP-RTK is better than 90%, the positioning accuracy in horizontal and vertical direction are better than 3 cm and 5 cm, respectively, and the probability of reconvergence time less than 10 s is over than 95%, which can basically meet the requirements of mass-market applications such as automotive driving and drones.

A Pulsar Timescale Algorithm Using NANOGRAV Data

Millisecond pulsar can generate another type of time scale that is totally independent of atomic time scale, because physical mechanisms of pulsar time scale and atomic time scale are quite different. Usually pulsar timing observation isn’t even sampled, and their data set is sparse, So we use cubic spline interpolation to densify data file and make intervals between data points even, after that we employ vondrak filter to smooth data set and get rid of high frequency noise. We used the latest released NANOGRAV data to generate ensemble pulsar time. Clock difference between pulsar time（PT） and atomic time was got and instability of PT was analysed, RMS of clock difference is 0.056μs, and long term frequency instability of PT（＞1year） is better than 4E-15. Results show that instability of PT is comparable to that of atomic time scale.

Sleep disturbances（SD） accelerate the progression of Alzheimer’s disease（AD） and increase the stress of ***,the long-term outcome of disturbed nocturnal sleep/wake patterns in AD and on increased stress of spousal caregivers is *** study assessed the 5-year effect of nocturnal SD on the long-term outcome in AD patients.A total of 156 donepezil-treated mildmoderate AD patients（93 AD + SD and 63 AD- SD as a control group） were *** AD + SD patients were formed into 4 subgroups according to the preferences of spousal caregivers for treatment with atypical antipsychotics（0.5-1 mg risperidone,n = 22）,non-benzodiazepine hypnotic（5-10 mg Zolpidem tartrate,n = 33）,melatonin（2.55 mg,n = 9）,or no- drug treatment（n= 29）.SD were evaluated by polysomnography,sleep scale,and cognitive scale ***,all spousal caregivers of AD patients were assessed using a series of scales,including sleep,anxiety,mood,and treatment attitude *** data showed that nocturnal sleep/wake disturbances were significantly associated with lower 5-year outcomes for AD patients,earlier nursing home placement,and more negative emotions of spousal *** with lowdose atypical anti-psychotic risperidone improved the 5-year outcome in AD + SD *** conclusion,low-dose atypical antipsychotic risperidone improves the 5-year outcome in AD patients with ***,improvement of nocturnal sleep problems in AD patients will also bring better emotional stability for AD caregivers.

The local government made a significant effort to improve traffic conditions and air quality by implementing long-lasting and large-scale even-odd license plate controlled plan during 20 November to 26 December 2016 in urban Lanzhou,a semi-arid valley city of *** fill the blank information for the effect of the strict traffic control on urban air quality,the air quality data from five state-controlling sites and meteorological data were measured simultaneously during the study period in urban and rural areas of *** impact of the control measures on urban CO,PM and PM(the particulate matter with diameter less than 2.5 and 10 μm) concentrations and the ratio of NO/SO were quantified by comparing the air quality data between urban and rural areas(uncontrolled zones) during before and during control *** impact of the traffic control measures on air quality index(AQI) and O concentrations was less as compared to its effect on other air *** concentrations of CO,NO from motor vehicles and fine particulate matter(PM) were shown to have significant decreases of 15%-23% during traffic control period from those measured before control period with hourly maximum CO,PM,and NO/SO reduction of 43%,35% and 141.4%,***,some strictly long-term and large-scale even-odd license plate controlled plan should be implement aperiodically by local government in urban areas during the periods with poor diffusion conditions to alleviate serious haze pollution in China and protect human health,especially North China Plain.
