Photocatalytic H_(2) evolution from seawater splitting presents a promising approach to tackle the fossil energy crisis and mitigate carbon emission due to the abundant source of seawater and sunlight on the ***,the development of efficient photocatalysts for seawater splitting remains a formidable ***,a 2D/2D ZnIn_(2)S_(4)/WO_(3)(ZIS/WO_(3))heterojunction nanostructure is fabricated to efficiently separate the photoinduced carriers by steering electron transfer from the conduction band minimum of WO_(3) to the valence band maximum of ZIS via constructing internal electric ***,plasmonic Au nanoparticles(NPs)as a novel photosensitizer and a reduction cocatalyst are anchored on ZIS/WO_(3) surface to further enhance the optical absorption of ZIS/WO_(3) heterojunction and accelerate the catalytic *** obtained Au/ZIS/WO_(3) photocatalyst exhibits an outstanding H_(2) evolution rate of 2610.6 or 3566.3μmol g^(-1)h~(-1)from seawater splitting under visible or full-spectrum light irradiation,*** rates represent an impressive increase of approximately 7.3-and 6,6-fold compared to those of ZIS under the illumination of the same light *** unique 2D/2D structure,internal electric field,and plasmonic metal modification together boost the photocatalytic H_(2) evolution rate of Au/ZIS/WO_(3),making it even comparable to H_(2) evolution from pure water *** present work sheds light on the development of efficient photocatalysts for seawater splitting.

Online Optimization of Physical-Layer Secure Computation Offloading in Dynamic Environments

Mobile edge computing can provide powerful computation services around the ***,given the broadcast nature of wireless transmissions,offloading the computation tasks via the uplink channels would raise serious security *** paper proposes an online approach to jointly optimize local processing,transmit power,and task offloading decisions without the a-priori knowledge of the dynamic *** proposed approach can guarantee the secure offloading and asymptotically minimize the time-average energy consumption of devices while maintaining the stability of the ergodic secrecy queues and task *** exploiting the Lyapunov optimization,the local processing,transmit power,and task offloading variables can be decoupled between time *** subproblems on local processing and computation offloading can be solved *** optimization and graph matching can be used to solve the computation offloading *** show that the performances of the proposed approach are superior to other popular approaches.

Effect and safety of press-needle on chronic heart failure

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effect and safety of the press-needle on chronic heart ***: According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, we screened 60 inpatients with chronic heart failure, from the Department of Cardiology in the Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University, 60 cases were randomly divided into treatment group(n =30) and control group(n = 30) in accordance with the random number table. The control group received standard Western Medicine treatment(according to the Chinese guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure 2014 and patients' condition). The treatment group received the press-needle treatment on the basis of standard Western Medicine treatment, both treated for3 months. Observing the 6 min walking distance(6 MWD), the score of Minnesota living with heart failure questionnaire(MLHFQ), N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-pro BNP), angiotensin Ⅱ(AngⅡ), left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) before and after ***:No statistical differences were found between control group and treatment group at baseline. Through self-matching test before and after treatment, the observation indexes were improved(P 0.05).CONCLUSION: The treatment of press-needle can significantly improve exercise tolerance and quality of life of patients with chronic heart failure, but the improvement of left ventricular ejection fraction was not significant.

采用粗毛纤孔菌(Inonotus hispidus)石油醚提取物(高、低剂量分别为12、6 mg·kg^(-1))、乙酸乙酯提取物(高、低剂量组分别为17、8.5 mg·kg^(-1))、正丁醇提取物(高、低剂量分别为45、22.5 mg·kg^(-1))、水提取物(高、低剂量分别为600、300 mg·kg^(-1))、麦角甾醇(高、低剂量分别为10、5 mg·kg^(-1))灌胃环磷酰胺所致免疫抑制小鼠,测定免疫器官指数、吞噬指数、吞噬系数、耳肿胀度、耳肿胀率和血清细胞因子、免疫球蛋白含量,采用苏木素-伊红染色小鼠脾脏、胸腺、胰腺、回肠后观察组织形态,研究粗毛纤孔菌不同提取物对免疫抑制小鼠免疫功能的影响。结果表明:与模型组相比,石油醚、水提取物高剂量组和麦角甾醇高、低剂量组的胸腺指数显著升高;麦角甾醇高、低剂量组的吞噬指数和吞噬系数均显著升高,水提取物高、低剂量组的吞噬系数显著升高;水提取物和麦角甾醇高、低剂量组的耳肿胀度和耳肿胀率均极显著升高;石油醚、水提取物和麦角甾醇高、低剂量组,乙酸乙酯提取物高剂量组的IL-1β含量显著增加;石油醚、乙酸乙酯、水提取物高、低剂量组和麦角甾醇高、低剂量组的IL-2含量极显著增加;除正丁醇提取物低剂量组外,其余提取物组和麦角甾醇高、低剂量组的IFN-γ和IL-10含量均极显著增加;石油醚、水提取物和麦角甾醇高、低剂量组,乙酸乙酯提取物高剂量组的IL-4含量极显著增加;石油醚、水提取物和麦角甾醇高、低剂量组的IgG含量显著增加。研究结果表明,粗毛纤孔菌提取物对环磷酰胺所致免疫抑制小鼠具有良好的免疫保护作用,可为粗毛纤孔菌进一步开发提供参考。

Optic and catalytic properties of gold nanoparticles tuned by homopolymers

Gold nanoparticles (GNs) are prepared through in situ reduction using NaBH4 in the presence of homopolymer PDMAEMA. The sizes of the GNs can be adjusted by alternating the molar ratio of gold to DMAEMA. Pure PDMAEMA aqueous solution shows a phase-transition at 50°C at pH 10 and 25°C at pH 14, while PDMAEMA-supported GNs aqueous solution shows a phase-transition at 47°C at pH 10 because of the increasing hydrophobic property resulting from GNs. Due to the pH and temperature-responsible characteristics of PDMAEMA, the resulting PDMAEMA-supported GNs exhibit pH adjustable temperature-responsive characteristics in optic and catalytic aspects. Under an acidic condition (pH 2), the GNs show unchanged surface Plasmon absorbance with a peak of 518 nm in a temperature range from 20 to 65°C. Under a basic condition (pH 10), the GNs first show the same absorbance with a peak at 518 nm in a temperature range from 20 to 40°C, and then the absorbance red shifts from 518 to 545 nm as temperature increases from 40 to 65°C. When the GNs are used as catalysts to catalyze the reduction of p-nitrophenol, the catalytic activity can be adjusted by changing the permeation of reactants in the PDMAEMA layer at low and high temperatures, respectively.

Micellization of copolymers via noncovalent interaction with TPPS and aggregation of TPPS

Aggregation of 5,10,15,20-tetrakis-(4-sulfonatophenyl)-porphyrin (TPPS) was investigated in complex micelles composed of poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(4-vinylpyridine) (PEG-b-P4VP) and poly(2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methylacrylate)-b-poly(Nisopropylacrylamide) (PDMAEMA-b-PNIPAM) in aqueous *** resultant complex micelles had a complex P4VP/ PDMAEMA/TPPS core and a mixed PEG/PNIPAM *** noncovalent interaction modes between the porphyrin and each copolymer accomplished a co-effect on the aggregation of *** formation of aggregates was *** pH 3.2–6.5,TPPS existed as a mixture of H-aggregates and monomers because of the aromatic-aromatic interaction with P4VP and electrostatic interaction with *** monomers translated into J-aggregates,stabilized by electrostatic interaction with the both polyelectrolyte blocks,upon decreasing the pH to *** free-base monomer was the one and only form for the dye at pH 11.0 due to aromatic stacking with the pyridyl rings.

Complex micelles with the bioactive function of reversible oxygen transfer

A complex micelle as a hemoglobin functional model with the biaoactive function of reversible oxygen transfer has been constructed through the hierarchical assembly of the diblock copolymer poly（ethylene glycol）-block- poly（4-vinylpyridine-co-N-heptyl-4-vinylpyridine）（PEG-b-P（4VP-co-4VPHep））, tetrakis（4-sulfonatophenyl）porphinato iron（II）（Fe（II）TPPS） and β-cyclodextrin （β-CD）. The μ-oxo dimer of Fe（II）TPPS was successfully inhibited because the Fe（II）TPPS was included into the cavities of β-CDs through host-guest interaction. Fe（II）TPPS coordinated with pyridine groups functions as the active site to reversibly bind dioxygen. In adition, the host-guest inclusion （β-CD/Fe（II）TPPS） was encapsulated in the hydrophobic core of the complex micelle and tightly fixed by P4VP chains. The hydrophilic PEG blocks stretched in aqueous solution to constitute the shells which stabilize the structure of the complex micelle as well as endow the complex micelle with sufficient blood circulation time. Dioxygen can be bound to the Fe（II）TPPS located in the confined space and excellent reversibility of the binding-release process of dioxygen can be achieved. The quaternary amine N-heptyl-4-vinylpyridine can coerce abundant S2O4^2- ions into the core of the complex micelle to facilitate the self-reduction process. Dioxygen adducts （Fe（II）TPPS（O2）） were effectively protected by the double hydrophobic barriers constructed by the cavity of the cyclodextrin and the core of the complex micelle which enhances the ability to resist nucleophilic molecules. Therefore, the rationally designed amphiphilic structure can work as a promising artificial O2 carrier. Potentially, the complex micelle can be expected to improve the treatment of diseases linked with hypoxia.
