To the Editor:Bronchial artery aneurysm(BAA)is a rare but potentially fatal *** is reported in less than 1%of all selective bronchial arteriographies.[1]The primary treatment is endovascular therapy,including transcatheter arterial embolization or aortic stent-graft *** treatment can be considered for patients with treatment failure,recurrence or contraindications to endovascular ***,we present a rare case of an ectopic mediastinal bronchial artery aneurysm that was successfully resected via video-assisted thoracic surgery(VATS).

Patients undergoing orthotopic liver transplantation may develop significant haemodynamic instability, especially during anhepatic phase and immediately after reperfusion of the graft. The haemodynamic instability may be caused directly by myocardial depression due to pathogenic substances released from the liver, or by acute blood loss.^1 Creatine kinase（CK） and its MB fraction （CK-MB） are sensitive and specific indicators to reflect myocardial damage.^2 Cardiac troponin I （cTnl） is a specific and sensitive marker of myocardial necrosis.^3 This study assessed perioperative cardiac function using three indicators （CK,CK-MB,and CTnl） to evaluate perioperative myocardial damage.

Graph coloring is an important tool in the study of optimization, computer science, network design, e.g., file transferring in a computer network, pattern matching, computation of Hessians matrix and so on. In this paper, we consider one important coloring, vertex coloring of a total graph, which is also called total coloring. We consider a planar graph G with maximum degree △（G）〉 8, and proved that if G contains no adjacent i,j-cycles with two chords for some i,j E {5,6,7}, then G is total-（△ ＋ 1）-colorable.

A new indirect inhibitive immunoassay using surface plasmon resonance（SPR） coupled with molecularly imprinted polymer（MIP） was developed.A sulfamethoxazole（SMX） MIP coating capillary was produced and used as an in-tube solid phase extraction（SPE） *** MIP coating formed a nanometer film on the inner wall of the *** anti-SMX mono-antibody was inhibited by SMX extracted by the MIP coating in a dose-dependent *** calibration curve was generated by linear fit over the range of 0.04-10.00 ng/*** limit of detection was 0.01 ng/*** method has high sensitivity and can be performed automatically.

Dry coal beneficiation using an air dense medium fluidized bed (ADMFB) requires the formation of a sta- ble and uniform bed from the dense medium. Others have shown that the structure and geometric parameters of the air distributor have a significant influence on the experimentally observed fluidization quality. In this study we used a sintered metal distributor (SMD) in the ADMFB separator and study its effect on the fluidization quality. The results show that for the same open area ratio (OAR), a smaller aper- ture in the SMD will provide improved fluidization quality. If aperture size is held constant bigger open area ratios result in improved fluidization quality. And, the fluidization quality also improves when the pressure drop across the SMD increases. A model relating distributor pressure drop and the geometric parameters of the SMD is also proposed.

Background Funnel chest has a negative effect on adolescents and it has a strong effect on adolescents＇ psychological and behavior. This study aimed to investigate the psychological characteristics and factors that affect adolescents with funnel chest and to evaluate the relationship between the patients＇ age and their physiological and psychological health. We aimed to establish an age model for maximum surgery benefits for funnel chest patients to provide an objective basis for choosing surgery. Methods The study adopted a general evaluation approach to assess the risk and benefits of minimally invasive surgery for funnel chest. The funnel chest index, the Symptom Checklist-90, and the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire were used as assessment tools to observe physiological and psychological features in funnel chest patients. A sample of 234 adolescents with funnel chest was selected from a third-grade class-A hospital in Beijing. Age groups were adopted as an independent variable, and other factors in funnel chest patients were dependent variables. Results There was a significant difference in the relapse rate for funnel chest in the different age groups （X2=11.883, P=-O.008）. There was a higher relapse rate in patients of 〈10 or 〉-19 years old than in patients of 11-18 years old. There was a significant difference in the SCL-90 total score in the different age groups （F=12.538, P=-0.0001）, the patients older than 13 years had a higher score than those younger than 13 years in the SCL-90. There was a significant difference in the standard score of E （introversion/extraversion） in the different age groups （F=10.06, P=0.0001）. There was also a significance in the funnel chest index before surgery in the different psychological scales （P〈0.01）, with a higher funnel chest index score associated with more obvious psychological trauma. Objective To evaluate the effect of intraoperative combined forced-air warming and fluid warming system on patient＇s core temperature, blood loss, transfusion demand, extubation time, and incidence of postoperative shivering. Mothods Forty patients with American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I and II, aged 18-70 years, scheduled for elective abdominal surgery were randomly assigned to receive intraoperative warming from a forced-air blanket and fluid warming system or conventional cotton blanket, 20 in each group. The core temperature was recorded every 20 minutes during the operation, as well as the blood loss, blood transfusion, extubation time, and incidence of postoperative shivering. Results The core temperature at the end of the surgery in the warming group was significantly different from that in the control group （36.4±0.4℃ vs. 35.3±0.5℃, P〈0.001）. Application of intraoperative warming significantly shortened the time between the end of the surgery and extubation （P〈0.01）. Postoperative shivering occurred in 30% of the patients in the control group compared to no patient in the warming group （P 〈0.01）. Conclusion Active warming with air-forced blanket and fluid warming system provides sufficient heat to prevent hypothermia during abdominal surgery.

The combination of electrochemical measurements with spectroscopic characterizations provides valuable insights into reaction *** magnetic resonance(NMR)spectroscopy,as a powerful technique due to its atomic specificity and versatility in studying gas,liquid,and solid,allows the study of electrolyte solution,catalyst and catalyst-adsorbate *** applied in operando,NMR can offer molecular-level insights into various electrochemical *** NMR has been applied extensively in battery research,but relatively underexplored for electrocatalysis in the past two *** this mini review,we first introduce the operando electrochemical NMR setups,categorized by different probe *** we review the applications of operando NMR for monitoring the electrolyte solution and the catalyst-adsorbate *** the high environmental impact of electrochemical conversion of CO_(2)into value-added products,we zoom in to the use of operando NMR in studying electrochemical CO_(2)***,we provide our perspective on further developing and applying operando NMR methods for understanding the complex reaction network of Cu-catalyzed electrochemical CO_(2)reduction.
