Automatic modeling algorithm of stochastic error for inertial sensors

Objective Micro RNAs(mi RNAs) are a class of non-coding RNAs important in posttranscriptional repressors involved in the regulation of almost every biological process. Mi RNA-mediated regulati on depends on perfect matching between the seven nucleotides of its seed region and the target sequence usually located at the 3‘ untranslated region of the regulated gene. Hence, even single changes in seed regions may affect mi RNA binding capacity and specificity. Previous studies hav e proven that genetic variations in mi RNAs, especially those in the seed regions, have profound a nd broad impacts on gene expression, phenotypic variation and disease susceptibility in human. Method For the present study, we employed a comparative bioinformatic analysis to explore the f unctional significance of sequence variation within the seed region of human mi RNAs. Result A total of 530 SNPs were mapped to the mi RNA seeds(including the known SNPs in the seed region of mi R-1304, mi R-96 and mi R-184), which are located at position 2-8 of the mature mi RNA sequences. We found that the central positions of the mi RNA seeds(positions 4, 5 and 6) contain fewer genetic variants than the peripheral positions in the seeds(2, 3, 7 and 8), indicated more evolutionary conserved and greater importance of middle seed base positions 4 to 6 in mi R NA function. Analysis of the predicted targets for reference and derived mi RNA alleles indicates that a substitution of even a single nucleotide within the seed region changes the spectrum of m R NA targets by >50%. Additionally, except for most of the genetic variations in mi RNA seed region are involved in human diseases, some SNPs are located in non-coding human adaptive accelerat ed regions after we checked for the diseases association and adaptive evolution of all SNPs in mi RNA seed region. This paper proposes an automatic algorithm to determine the properties of stochastic processes and their parameters for inertial error. The proposed approach is based on a recently developed method called the generalized method of wavelet moments (GMWM), whose estimator was proven to be consistent and asymptotically normally distributed. This algorithm is suitable mainly (but not only) for the combination of several stochastic processes, where the model identification and parameter estimation are quite difficult for the traditional methods, such as the Allan variance and the power spectral density analysis. This algorithm further explores the complete stochastic error models and the candidate model ranking criterion to realize automatic model identification and determination. The best model is selected by making the trade-off between the model accuracy and the model complexity. The validation of this approach is verified by practical examples of model selection for MEMS-IMUs (micro-electro-mechanical system inertial measurement units) in varying dynamic conditions.

The research of poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO)-based solid composite electrolyte with high ionic conductivity and excellent interfacial stability is the key to the development of all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries(ASSLIBs). Herein, uniform nanorod structured CeO_(2) fillers were controllably synthesized by electrospinning, which were subsequently filled into PEO polymer to prepare CeO_(2)/PEO solid composite electrolyte. The addition of CeO_(2) nanorods can reduce both the glass transition temperature and the melting point of PEO polymer, and also interact with PEO and lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulphonyl)imide(LITFSI) by Lewis acid—base reaction. Therefore, the solid composite electrolyte exhibits a high ionic conductivity of 4.52 × 10^(-4)S/cm, a wide electrochemical stability window of about 4.8 V, and a good interfacial stability with Li at 55℃. Moreover, the LiFePO_4/Li ASSLIB divulges the discharging specific capacity of 165, 162, 156 and 146 mA,h/g at 0.2, 0.5, 1 and 2 C, respectively, and achieves the capacity retention of 90.3% after 150 cycles at 0.5 C. Consequently, one dimensional CeO_(2) nanorods can be considered as an alternative filler for polymeric solid electrolyte.

Achieving higher accuracy positioning results in urban environments at a lower cost has been an important pursuit in areas such as autonomous driving and intelligent *** Inertial Navigation System and Global Navigation Satellite System(INS/GNSS)integrated navigation systems have been an important means of fulfilling the above quest due to the complementary error characteristics between INS and *** complex urban driving environment requires the system sufficiently adaptive to keep up with the time-varying measurement noise and sufficiently robust to cope with measurement outliers and prior ***,many efforts lack a balance between adaptability and *** this paper,a novel positioning method with both adaptability and robustness is proposed by coupling the Mahalanobis distance method,the Variational Bayesian method and the student’s t-distribution in one process(M-VBt method).This method is robust against non-Gaussian noise and priori uncertainties,plus adaptive against measurement noise uncertainty and time-varying *** field test results show that the M-VBt method(especially the Mahalanobis distance part)has significantly improved the system performance in the complex urban driving environment.
