The Strategic Analysis of Demand Forecast-Sharing in a Hybrid-Format Online Platform Supply Chain

This paper examines the optimal forecast-sharing strategy in a hybrid-format online platform supply chain where a supplier sells a product through agency format and reselling format provided by a platform retailer who possesses demand forecasts from two *** asymmetry and co-opetitive relationship arise between the platform retailer and the supplier,which affect their operational decisions and the supply chain’s *** improve supply chain efficiency,we compare different forecast-sharing strategies(i.e.,no forecast sharing,sharing a single forecast,and sharing two forecasts),and analyze the effects of co-opetitive parameters on the optimal forecast-sharing *** analysis shows that forecast sharing is always beneficial to the supplier,and sharing two forecasts is more beneficial than sharing a single *** for the platform retailer and the whole supply chain,forecast sharing is beneficial only under certain conditions,depending on the co-opetitive *** optimal forecast-sharing strategy is the result of a combination of the negative effect of double marginalization in reselling channel and the positive effect of responding pricing to demand uncertainty in agency *** illustrate the parameter regions of the platform retailer’s voluntary sharing,contract sharing,and no sharing,and also find that higher channel competition intensity,higher market share of agency channel,and higher commission rate can promote the platform retailer’s voluntary *** study extends the research scope of demand forecast-sharing and sheds light on the decision-making processes for managing a hybrid-format online platform supply chain.

Two Matrix Theorems Arising from Nilpotent Groups

For a nilpotent group G without pi-torsion, and x, y is an element of G , if x(n) = y(n) for a pi-number n, then x=y ; if x(m) y(n) = y(n) x(m) for pi-numbers m, n, then xy = yx . This is a well-known result in group theory. In this paper, we prove two analogous theorems on matrices, which have independence significance. Specifically, let m be a given positive integer and A a complex square matrix satisfying that (i) all eigenvalues of A are nonnegative, and (ii) rank A(2) = rank A; then A has a unique m-th root X with rank X-2 = rank X , all eigenvalues of X are nonnegative, and moreover there is a polynomial f( lambda) with X = f (A). In addition, let A and B be complex nxn matrices with all eigenvalues nonnegative, and rank A(2) = rank A, rank B-2 = rank B; then (i) A=B when A (R) = B (R) for some positive integer r, and (ii) AB = BA when A(s) B-t = B-t A(s) for two positive integers s and t.

Study of deep transportation and plugging performance of deformable gel particles in porous media

Deformable gel particles(DGPs) possess the capability of deep profile control and flooding. However, the deep migration behavior and plugging mechanism along their path remain unclear. Breakage, an inevitable phenomenon during particle migration, significantly impacts the deep plugging effect. Due to the complexity of the process, few studies have been conducted on this subject. In this paper, we conducted DGP flow experiments using a physical model of a multi-point sandpack under various injection rates and particle sizes. Particle size and concentration tests were performed at each measurement point to investigate the transportation behavior of particles in the deep part of the reservoir. The residual resistance coefficient and concentration changes along the porous media were combined to analyze the plugging performance of DGPs. Furthermore, the particle breakage along their path was revealed by analyzing the changes in particle size along the way. A mathematical model of breakage and concentration changes along the path was established. The results showed that the passage after breakage is a significant migration behavior of particles in porous media. The particles were reduced to less than half of their initial size at the front of the porous media. Breakage is an essential reason for the continuous decreases in particle concentration, size, and residual resistance coefficient. However, the particles can remain in porous media after breakage and play a significant role in deep plugging. Higher injection rates or larger particle sizes resulted in faster breakage along the injection direction, higher degrees of breakage, and faster decreases in residual resistance coefficient along the path. These conditions also led to a weaker deep plugging ability. Smaller particles were more evenly retained along the path, but more particles flowed out of the porous media, resulting in a poor deep plugging effect. Effect of long reaction distance on gas composition from organic-rich shale pyrolysis under high-temperature steam environment

When high-temperature steam is used as a medium to pyrolyze organic-rich shale,water steam not only acts as heat transfer but also participates in the chemical reaction of organic matter pyrolysis,thus affecting the generation law and release characteristics of gas *** this study,based on a long-distance reaction system of organic-rich shale pyrolysis via steam injection,the effects of steam temperature and reaction distance on gas product composition are analyzed in depth and compared with other pyrolysis *** advantages of organic-rich shale pyrolysis via steam injection are then *** volume concentration of hydrogen in the gas product obtained via the steam injection pyrolysis of organic-rich shale is the highest,which is more than 60%.The hydrogen content increases as the reaction distance is extended;however,the rate of increase changes *** the reaction distance from 800 to 4000 mm increases the hydrogen content from 34.91%to 69.68%and from 63.13%to 78.61%when the steam temperature is 500℃ and 555℃,***,the higher the heat injection temperature,the smaller the reaction distance required to form a high concentration hydrogen pyrolysis environment(hydrogen concentration>60%).When the steam pyrolysis temperature is increased from 500℃ to 555℃,the reaction distance required to form a high concentration of hydrogen is reduced from 3800 to 800 *** with the direct retorting process,the volume concentration of hydrogen obtained from high-temperature steam pyrolysis of organic-rich shale is 8.82 and 10.72 times that of the commonly used Fushun and Kivite furnaces,*** pyrolysis of organic-rich shale via steam injection is a pyrolysis process in a hydrogen-rich environment.

2D DOA Estimation of Coherent Signals with a Separated Linear Acoustic Vector-Sensor Array

In this paper, a two-dimensional(2D) DOA estimation algorithm of coherent signals with a separated linear acoustic vector-sensor(AVS) array consisting of two sparse AVS arrays is proposed. Firstly,the partitioned spatial smoothing(PSS) technique is used to construct a block covariance matrix, so as to decorrelate the coherency of signals. Then a signal subspace can be obtained by singular value decomposition(SVD) of the covariance matrix. Using the signal subspace, two extended signal subspaces are constructed to compensate aperture loss caused by *** elevation angles can be estimated by estimation of signal parameter via rotational invariance techniques(ESPRIT) algorithm. At last, the estimated elevation angles can be used to estimate automatically paired azimuth angles. Compared with some other ESPRIT algorithms, the proposed algorithm shows higher estimation accuracy, which can be proved through the simulation results.

Evolution of inclusions in vacuum induction melting of superalloys containing 70%return material

The variation law of inclusions type and size in the vacuum induction melting process and ingot of Ni-based superalloy containing 70%return material was studied by industrial test sampling,and the mechanism of inclusions formation was analyzed with thermodynamic *** results show that there are mainly two types of composite inclusions in the vacuum induction melting of Ni-based superalloys,which are nitride-and oxide-based composite inclusions,like Al_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2)-Cr_(2)O_(3),TiN-(Mo,Nb)C,*** type and proportion of inclusions from the center to the edge of the vacuum induction ingot did not change *** number density of inclusions from the center to the edge of the ingot varied less,and the size of inclusions became smaller from the center to the *** addition,thermodynamic calculations show that oxides(M_(2)O_(3))are present in the liquid phase and mainly contain Al,Ti,Cr,Fe and O *** nitride consists mainly of Ti and N and contains small amounts of Cr,C,Nb,and Mo *** is consistent with the results of industrial *** the temperature decreases,the precipitation phases such as M_(2)O_(3),MN,γ,MC,δ,γ'andμphases are gradually precipitated,where oxides and nitrides are present in the liquid *** contents of O and N elements are the main influencing factors for the inclusions content and precipitation temperature;when the nitrogen content is reduced to below 0.0015%,it can make MN precipitate below the liquid-phase line.

Dual-filler reinforced PVDF-HFP based polymer electrolyte enabling high-safety design of lithium metal batteries

Despite the high energy density of lithium metal batteries(LMBs),their application in rechargeable batteries is still hampered due to insufficient ***,we present a novel flame-retardant solid-state electrolyte based on polyvinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene(PVDF-HFP)with nano SiO_(2)aerogel as an inert filler but Li_(6.4)La_(3)Zr_(1.4)Ta_(0.6)O_(12)(LLZTO)as an auxiliary component to enhance the ion *** introduction of SiO_(2)aerogels imparts the polymer electrolyte with exceptional thermal stability and flame ***,the interaction between hydroxyl groups of SiO_(2)particles and PVDF-HFP creates a strong cross-linking structure,enhancing the mechanical strength and stability of the ***,the presence of SiO_(2)aerogel and LLZTO facilitates the dissociation of lithium salts through Lewis acid-base interactions,resulting in a high ionic conductivity of 1.01×10^(−3)S·cm^(−1)and a wide electrochemical window of~5.0 V at room temperature for the prepared ***,the assembled Li|Li cell demonstrates the excellent resistance to lithium dendrite and runs stablly for over 1500 h at a current density of 0.25 mA·cm^(−2).Thus,we prepare a pouch cell with high safety,which can work normally after short-circuiting under the external folding and cutting.

Noise-Tolerant ZNN-Based Data-Driven Iterative Learning Control for Discrete Nonaffine Nonlinear MIMO Repetitive Systems

Aiming at the tracking problem of a class of discrete nonaffine nonlinear multi-input multi-output(MIMO) repetitive systems subjected to separable and nonseparable disturbances, a novel data-driven iterative learning control(ILC) scheme based on the zeroing neural networks(ZNNs) is proposed. First, the equivalent dynamic linearization data model is obtained by means of dynamic linearization technology, which exists theoretically in the iteration domain. Then, the iterative extended state observer(IESO) is developed to estimate the disturbance and the coupling between systems, and the decoupled dynamic linearization model is obtained for the purpose of controller synthesis. To solve the zero-seeking tracking problem with inherent tolerance of noise,an ILC based on noise-tolerant modified ZNN is proposed. The strict assumptions imposed on the initialization conditions of each iteration in the existing ILC methods can be absolutely removed with our method. In addition, theoretical analysis indicates that the modified ZNN can converge to the exact solution of the zero-seeking tracking problem. Finally, a generalized example and an application-oriented example are presented to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed process.
