Challenges and Opportunities in Preserving Key Structural Features of 3d-Printed metal/Covalent Organic Framework

Purpose: To describe the feature and our experience in the treatment of nonspecific regional ureteristis characterized by hematuria. Patients and methods: We reviewed our collected database from 2001 to 2007 for all patients diagnosed nonspecific regional ureteritis retrospectively. Our analysis revealed 5 patients characterized by hematuria. A total of 1 man and 4 women with a mean age of 36 years (range 28-42 years) underwent ultrasonography, excretory urography and CT scan without any positive signs. The renal function was normal. All cases had received retrograde ureteroscopy and biopsy for pathological examination. And after the precedure they got 8-12 weeks antibiotics treatment. Results: All 5 patients were diagnosed the nonspecific regional ureteritis according to pathological examination. After 6-10 weeks of antibiotic drugs treatment 4 patients of hematuria disappeared. Conclusions: The early stage of nonspecific regional ureteritis may be characterized by hematuria. The long-term and sufficient quantum antibiotics treatment was the recommended choice.

Luminescence regulation of Sb^(3+)in 0d hybrid metal halides by hydrogen bond network for optical anti-counterfeiting

In order to study the relationship between dietary composition and health and disease, we investigated retrospectively the changes in diet composition, health status and mortality from.d.sease of the Shanghai population from 1950 to 1985. The results showed that remarkable changes had occurred in the dietary composition, health status and disease mortality. The energy from grain products decreased from 80-83% in 1950s to 68-72% in the 1980s, and the energy from animal foods increased from 6.5-8.5% in the 1950s to 17.5-18.0% in 1980s. With the changes of dietary composition, notable changes also occurred in the nutritional composition of diet. From the 1950s to the 1980s the energy from fat was increased from 16.3-20.1% to 24.0-28.0%, and the energy from carbohydrates was lowered from 72.0-73.5% to 62.2-65.8%. As a result of the changes of diet, the health status and disease mortality also changed. For example, the average height in males of 18-20 years old was increased from 164.89 cm in 1955 to 167.33 cm in 1974, and the average life span of males and females was increased from 42.0 years and 45.6 years in 1950 to 72.1 years and 76.4 years in 1985, respectively. At the same time, the rank order of mortality causes also changed. Before 1950 the first three diseases were measles, tuberculosis and senility, but in 1985 they were malignant tumors, cerebrovascular disease, and ischemic heart *** particular, the mortality from ischemic heart disease is now higher than that in Japan. The causes of these changes may be the changes of dietary composition and nutritional composition of diet, although there are other factors. Therefore it is imperative to change the dietary composition.

The Sb^(3+) doping strategy has been proven to be an effective way to regulate the band gap and improve the photophysical properties of organic-inorganic hybrid metal halides(OIHmHs).However,the emission of Sb^(3+) ions in OIHmHs is primarily confined to the low energy region,resulting in yellow or red *** date,there are few reports about green emission of Sb^(3+)-doped ***,we present a novel approach for regulating the luminescence of Sb^(3+) ions in 0d C_(10)H_(2)_(2)N_(6)InCl_(7)·H_(2)O via hydrogen bond network,in which water molecules act as agents for hydrogen ***^(3+)-doped C_(10)H_(2)2N_(6)InCl_(7)·H_(2)O shows a broadband green emission peaking at 540 nm and a high photoluminescence quantum yield(PLQY)of 80%.It is found that the intense green emission stems from the radiative recombination of the self-trapped excitons(STEs).Upon removal of water molecules with heat,C_(10)H_(2)_(2)N_(6)In_(1-x)Sb_(x)Cl_(7) generates yellow emis-sion,attributed to the breaking of the hydrogen bond network and large structural distortions of excited *** water molecules are adsorbed by C_(10)H_(2)_(2)N_(6)In_(1-x)Sb_(x)Cl_(7),it can subsequently emit green *** water-induced reversible emission switching is successfully used for optical security and information *** findings expand the under-standing of how the local coordination structure influences the photophysical mechanism in Sb^(3+)-doped metal halides and provide a novel method to control the STEs emission.

The aromatic compounds,including o-xylene,m-xylene,p-xylene,and ethylbenzene,primarily originate from the catalytic reforming of crude oil,and have a wide variety of ap***,because of similar physical and chemical properties,these compounds are difficult to be identified by gas chromatography(GC)without standard *** the development of m.d.rn nuclear magnetic resonance(NmR)techniques,NmR has emerged as a powerful and efficient tool for the rapid analysis of complex and crude mixtures without *** this study,the parameters of one-dimensional(1d)total correlation spectroscopy(TOCSY)NmR techniques,including 1d selective gradient TOCSY and 1d chemicalshift-selective filtration(CSSF)with TOCSY,were optimized to obtain comprehensive molecular structure *** results indicate that the overlapped signals in NmR spectra of nonpolar aromatic compounds(including o-xylene,m-xylene,p-xylene and ethylbenzene),polar aromatic compounds(benzyl alcohol,benzaldehyde,benzoic acid),and aromatic compounds with additional conjugated bonds(styrene)can be resolved in 1d *** importantly,full molecular structures can be clearly distinguished by setting appropriate mixing time in 1d *** approach simplifies the NmR spectra,provides structural information of entire molecules,and can be applied for the analysis of other structural isomers.
