Purpose: To describe the feature and our experience in the treatment of nonspecific regional ureteristis characterized by hematuria. Patients and methods: We reviewed our collected database from 2001 to 2007 for all patients diagnosed nonspecific regional ureteritis retrospectively. Our analysis revealed 5 patients characterized by hematuria. A total of 1 man and 4 women with a mean age of 36 years (range 28-42 years) underwent ultrasonography, excretory urography and CT scan without any positive signs. The renal function was normal. All cases had received retrograde ureteroscopy and biopsy for pathological examination. And after the precedure they got 8-12 weeks antibiotics treatment. Results: All 5 patients were diagnosed the nonspecific regional ureteritis according to pathological examination. After 6-10 weeks of antibiotic drugs treatment 4 patients of hematuria disappeared. Conclusions: The early stage of nonspecific regional ureteritis may be characterized by hematuria. The long-term and sufficient quantum antibiotics treatment was the recommended choice.

Electroacupuncture and moxibustion improve ulcerative colitis by promoting neutrophil apoptosis in rats

In order to study the relationship between dietary composition and health and disease, we investigated retrospectively the changes in diet composition, health status and mortality from.d.sease of the Shanghai population from 1950 to 1985. The results showed that remarkable changes had occurred in the dietary composition, health status and disease mortality. The energy from grain products decreased from 80-83% in 1950s to 68-72% in the 1980s, and the energy from animal foods increased from 6.5-8.5% in the 1950s to 17.5-18.0% in 1980s. With the changes of dietary composition, notable changes also occurred in the nutritional composition of diet. From the 1950s to the 1980s the energy from fat was increased from 16.3-20.1% to 24.0-28.0%, and the energy from carbohydrates was lowered from 72.0-73.5% to 62.2-65.8%. As a result of the changes of diet, the health status and disease mortality also changed. For example, the average height in males of 18-20 years old was increased from 164.89 cm in 1955 to 167.33 cm in 1974, and the average life span of males and females was increased from 42.0 years and 45.6 years in 1950 to 72.1 years and 76.4 years in 1985, respectively. At the same time, the rank order of mortality causes also changed. Before 1950 the first three diseases were measles, tuberculosis and senility, but in 1985 they were malignant tumors, cerebrovascular disease, and ischemic heart *** particular, the mortality from ischemic heart disease is now higher than that in Japan. The causes of these changes may be the changes of dietary composition and nutritional composition of diet, although there are other factors. Therefore it is imperative to change the dietary composition.

delayed neutrophil apoptosis is a feature of persistent acute inflammation. Neutrophil-m.d.ated damage has been shown to be associated with the development of ulcerative colitis (UC). Persistence of these cells both at the colonic site and circulation may further contribute to UC. The aims of this study were to determine whether neutrophils isolated from UC rats delay apoptosis and investigate the effect of acupuncture and moxibustion on neutrophil apoptosis and the expression of interleukin-1β(IL-1β), interleukin-6(IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) in rat of UC. A rat m.d.l of ulcerative colitis was established by immunological methods using human colonic mucosa as antigen. All of rats were randomly divided into m.d.l control group (mC), electro-acupuncture group (EA), herbs-partition moxibustion group (HPm). Normal rats were used as normal control group (NC). Peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBmC) from all the rats and circular neutrophils from NC rats were isolated and cultured. Circular neutrophils isolated from healthy rats were incubated with culture supernatants of PBmC. Neutrophils apoptosis and concentration of IL-1β、IL-6 and TNF-α were detected by TUNEL and ELISA respectively. Our results reveal that improved ulceration in EA and HPm treated animal may result from.d.wn-regulating monocyte cytokines and accelerated neutrophill apoptosis, suggesting that both electroacupuncture and moxibustion are useful in treatment of ulcerative colitis.

The local structure and thermophysical behavior of mg-La liquid alloys were in-depth understood using deep potential molecular dynamic(dPmd) simulation driven via machine learning to promote the development of mg-La alloys. The robustness of the trained deep potential(dP) m.d.l was thoroughly evaluated through several aspects, including root-mean-square errors(RmSEs), energy and force data, and structural information comparison results;the results indicate the carefully trained dP m.d.l is reliable. The component and temperature dependence of the local structure in the mg-La liquid alloy was analyzed. The effect of mg content in the system on the first coordination shell of the atomic pairs is the same as that of temperature. The pre-peak demonstrated in the structure factor indicates the presence of a m.d.um-range ordered structure in the mg-La liquid alloy, which is particularly pronounced in the 80at% mg system and disappears at elevated temperatures. The density, self-diffusion coefficient, and shear viscosity for the mg-La liquid alloy were predicted via dPmd simulation, the evolution patterns with mg content and temperature were subsequently discussed, and a database was established accordingly. Finally, the mixing enthalpy and elemental activity of the mg-La liquid alloy at 1200 K were reliably evaluated,which provides new guidance for related studies.

The fiber optic sensing technology provides data support in structural health monitoring of the macro facilities, including design, construction, and maintenance of bridges, tunnels, ports and other infrastructures. In this paper, a distributed vibration sensing system is proved to be responsive to a single touch over a 1.8-m-long equivalent fiber segment, covering a vibration frequency from 5 Hz to 25 kHz. The sensing fiber was arranged as an S type layout on the bridge to recognize the standing state, windblown disturbance, and walking vibration. moreover, the knocking and climbing events are recognized fiber laying spinning lines and hanging on the fences, respectively. The demonstration shows an accurate positioning and sensitive vibration monitoring applied on the automated three-dimensional(3d) printed bridge, which is applicable to all kinds of 3d printed facilities as intelligent sensory neuro-networks.

The tensile strain in inorganic perovskite films induced by thermal annealing is one of the primary factors contributing to the inefficiency and instability of inorganic perovskite solar cells （IPSCs）,which reduces the defect formation ***,a flexible molecule 5-maleim.d.valeric acid （5-mVA） was introduced as a strain buffer to release the residual strain of *** anhydride and carboxyl groups in 5-mVA interact strongly with the uncoordinated Pb2+through Lewis acid-base reaction,thus tightly“pull”the perovskite *** in-between soft carbon chain increased the structural flexibility of CsPbI2.85Br0.15perovskite materials,which effectively relieved the intrinsic internal strain of CsPbI2.85Br0.15,resisted the corrosion of external strain,and also reduced the formation of defects such as VIand *** addition,the introduction of 5-mVA improved crystal quality,passivated residual defects,and narrowed energy level ***,power conversion efficiency （PCE） of NiOxbased inverted IPSCs increased from 19.25% to 20.82% with the open-circuit voltage enhanced from 1.164 V to 1.230 *** release of strain also improved the stability of CsPbI2.85Br0.15perovskite films and devices.
