In view of recent environmental concerns,electrochemical water splitting for hydrogen(H2)as one of the important reactions has getting more and more attention in these ***,we synthesized a series of Mo,N,and P co-doped carbons as efficient electrocatalysts to replace the expensive platinum-based *** the final products,the combination of Mo_(2)C nanoparticles(NPs)and N,P co-doped carbons were fabricated using a simple molten salt *** notably,KCl as the template could be recycled and reused via water *** ratios of the precursors could affect the structure of the final production,and therefore further determine the performance of electrocatalytic towards hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Owing to extensive supplies of active sites and heterogeneous structures that provide transfer channels for electrons,the optimal sample of GUPMo-2.00KCl exhibited the best HER activity among the as-synthesized samples,including low overpotentials,small Tafel slope,and good *** work opens up a novel prospect for the designing of high-performance electrocatalysts.

BACKGROUND Gastric cancer(GC)poses a substantial risk to human health due to its high prevalence and mortality ***,current therapeutic strategies remain ***-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq)offers the potential to provide comprehensive insights into GC *** To explore the distribution and dynamic changes of cell populations in the GC tumor microenvironment using scRNA-seq *** Cancerous tissues and paracancerous tissues were obtained from patients diagnosed with GC at various stages(I,II,III,and IV).Single-cell suspensions were prepared and analyzed using scRNA-seq to examine transcriptome profiles and cell-cell ***,quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)and flow cytometry were applied for measuring the expression of cluster of differentiation(CD)2,CD3D,CD3E,cytokeratin 19,cytokeratin 8,and epithelial cell adhesion *** Transcriptome data from 73645 single cells across eight tissues of four patients were categorized into 25 distinct cell clusters,representing 10 different cell *** were observed in these cell type *** adjacent epithelial cells in stages II and III exhibited a degenerative ***,the quantity of CD4 T cells and CD8 T cells were evidently elevated in cancerous *** analysis displayed a remarkable increase in interaction between B cells and other mast cells in stages II,III,and IV of *** findings were further validated through qRT-PCR and flow cytometry,demonstrating elevated T cells and declined epithelial cells within the cancerous *** This study provides a comprehensive analysis of cell dynamics across GC stages,highlighting key interactions within the tumor *** findings offer valuable insights for developing novel therapeutic strategies.

A remarkable marine heatwave,known as the“Blob”,occurred in the Northeast Pacific Ocean from late 2013 to early 2016,which displayed strong warm anomalies extending from the surface to a depth of 300 *** study employed two assimilation schemes based on the global Climate Forecast System of Nanjing University of Information Science(NUIST-CFS 1.0)to investigate the impact of ocean data assimilation on the seasonal prediction of this extreme marine *** sea surface temperature(SST)nudging scheme assimilates SST only,while the deterministic ensemble Kalman filter(EnKF)scheme assimilates observations from the surface to the deep *** latter notably improves the forecasting skill for subsurface temperature anomalies,especially at the depth of 100-300 m(the lower layer),outperforming the SST nudging *** excels in predicting both horizontal and vertical heat transport in the lower layer,contributing to improved forecasts of the lower-layer warming during the *** improvements stem from the assimilation of subsurface observational data,which are important in predicting the upper-ocean *** results suggest that assimilating ocean data with the EnKF scheme significantly enhances the accuracy in predicting subsurface temperature anomalies during the Blob and offers better understanding of its underlying mechanisms.

The evacuation of people under threat is an effective disaster prevention and mitigation measure in response to flash floods and geological hazards,and it is also an essential element of pre-disaster ***,the effect of the interactions between perception factors on residents'willingness to evacuate is an urgent problem to be ***,this paper introduces risk,stakeholder,and protective action perceptions from the protective action decision model as the main explanatory *** three core perceptions are subdivided into affective risk perception,cognitive risk perception,government perception,other-stakeholder perception,resourcerelated attributes,and hazard-related attributes.A questionnaire survey was conducted from June to July 2023 among residents of mountainous communities in nine villages in three towns in Sichuan Province,China.359 cross-sectional data were analyzed using structural equation modeling to explore the effects of six perception factors on evacuation *** results of the study showed that:(1)affective risk perception,government perception,other-stakeholder perception,and hazard-related attributes all directly and positively influence residents'intentions to evacuate;(2)cognitive risk perception is mediated by stakeholder and protective action perceptions,which indirectly and positively affect residents'intentions to *** on the hypothesized paths,strategies to improve residents'willingness to evacuate are discussed from the perspective of three core perceptions:strengthening disaster risk education,improving residents'cohesion,and building government *** results of this study can provide theoretical support and practical suggestions for emergency management departments to formulate emergency evacuation strategies,which can aid decision-makers in better understanding residents'intentions to evacuate,optimizing evacuation information dissemination pathways,and strengthening disaster risk man

Tanycytes, specialized ependymal cells located in the hypothalamus, play a crucial role in the generation of new neurons that contribute to the neural circuits responsible for regulating the systemic energy balance. The precise coordination of the gene networks controlling neurogenesis in naive and mature tanycytes is essential for maintaining homeostasis in adulthood. However, our understanding of the molecular mechanisms and signaling pathways that govern the proliferation and differentiation of tanycytes into neurons remains limited. This article aims to review the recent advancements in research into the mechanisms and functions of tanycyte-derived neurogenesis. Studies employing lineage-tracing techniques have revealed that the neurogenesis specifically originating from tanycytes in the hypothalamus has a compensatory role in neuronal loss and helps maintain energy homeostasis during metabolic diseases. Intriguingly,metabolic disorders are considered early biomarkers of Alzheimer's disease. Furthermore,the neurogenic potential of tanycytes and the state of newborn neurons derived from tanycytes heavily depend on the maintenance of mild microenvironments, which may be disrupted in Alzheimer's disease due to the impaired blood–brain barrier ***, the specific alterations and regulatory mechanisms governing tanycyte-derived neurogenesis in Alzheimer's disease remain unclear. Accumulating evidence suggests that tanycyte-derived neurogenesis might be impaired in Alzheimer's disease, exacerbating neurodegeneration. Confirming this hypothesis, however, poses a challenge because of the lack of long-term tracing and nucleus-specific analyses of newborn neurons in the hypothalamus of patients with Alzheimer's disease. Further research into the molecular mechanisms underlying tanycyte-derived neurogenesis holds promise for identifying small molecules capable of restoring tanycyte proliferation in neurodegenerative diseases. Dissolved copper and iron ions are regarded as friendly and economic catalysts for peroxymonosulfate(PMS)activation,however,neither Cu(Ⅱ)nor Fe(Ⅲ)shows efficient catalytic performance because of the slow rates of Cu(Ⅱ)/Cu(Ⅰ)and Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ)***,we observed a significant enhancement on the degradation of organic contaminants when Cu(Ⅱ)and Fe(Ⅲ)were coupled to activate PMS in borate(BA)*** degradation efficiency of Rhodamine B(RhB,20μmol/L)reached up to 96.3%within 10 min,which was higher than the sum of individual Cu(Ⅱ)-and Fe(Ⅲ)-activated PMS *** radical,hydroxyl radical and high-valent metal ions(i.e.,Cu(Ⅲ)and Fe(IV))were identified as the working reactive species for RhB removal in Cu(Ⅱ)/Fe(Ⅲ)/PMS/BA system,while the last played a predominated *** presence of BA dramatically facilitated the reduction of Cu(Ⅱ)to Cu(Ⅰ)via chelating with Cu(Ⅱ)followed by Fe(Ⅲ)reduction by Cu(Ⅰ),resulting in enhanced PMS activation by Cu(Ⅰ)and Fe(Ⅱ)as well as accelerated generation of reactive ***,the strong buffering capacity of BA to stabilize the solution pH was satisfying for the pollutants degradation since a slightly alkaline environment favored the PMS activation by coupling Cu(Ⅱ)and Fe(Ⅲ).In a word,this work provides a brand-new insight into the outstanding PMS activation by homogeneous bimetals and an expanded application of iron-based advanced oxidation processes in alkaline conditions.

Guided by molecular networking, nine novel curvularin derivatives（1-9） and 16 known analogs（10-25） were isolated from the hydrothermal vent sediment fungus Penicillium sp. HL-50. Notably, compounds 5-7 represented a hybrid of curvularin and purine. The structures and absolute configurations of compounds 1-9 were elucidated via nuclear magnetic resonance（NMR） spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, electronic circular dichroism（ECD） calculations,13C NMR calculation, modified Mosher's method, and chemical derivatization. Investigation of anti-inflammatory activities revealed that compounds 7-9, 11, 12, 14, 15, and 18 exhibited significant suppressive effects against lipopolysaccharide（LPS）-induced nitric oxide（NO）production in murine macrophage RAW264.7 cells, with IC50values ranging from 0.44 to 4.40μmol·L-1. Furthermore, these bioactive compounds were found to suppress the expression of inflammation-related proteins, including inducible NO synthase（i NOS）, cyclooxygenase-2（COX-2）, NLR family pyrin domain-containing protein 3（NLRP3）, and nuclear factor kappa-B（NF-κB）. Additional studies demonstrated that the novel compound 7 possessed potent antiinflammatory activity by inhibiting the transcription of inflammation-related genes, downregulating the expression of inflammation-related proteins, and inhibiting the release of inflammatory cytokines, indicating its potential application in the treatment of inflammatory diseases.
