We propose a silicon polarization-diversity coherent receiver for wavelength-multiplexing transmission without using the large-footprint arrayed waveguide grating(AWG).We have integrated our proposed coherent receiver on the silicon-on-insulator(SOI) platform for high-capacity *** the proposed coherent receiver,high-frequency photocurrent signals from other wavelengths are suppressed by electrical low-pass ***,the signal-signal beat interference(SSBI) generated from each wavelength is eliminated by the balanced *** two features lend to the proposed coherent receiver being free of the mm-scale *** have demonstrated our proposed coherent receiver to detect a 1.12-Tb/s wavelength-division-multiplexed and polarization-division-multiplexed 16-ary quadrature amplitude modulation(PDM-16-QAM) *** compact footprint of the silicon chip promises small-form-factor receivers for future ultra-high-capacity coherent communication systems that require a high integration level and low fabrication cost.

BACKGROUND Radiotherapy stands as a promising therapeutic modality for colorectal cancer(CRC);yet,the formidable challenge posed by radio-resistance significantly undermines its efficacy in achieving CRC *** To elucidate the role played by microRNA-298(miR-298)in CRC *** To establish a radio-resistant CRC cell line,HT-29 cells underwent exposure to 5 gray ionizing radiation that was followed by a 7-d recovery *** quantification of miR-298 levels within CRC cells was conducted through quantitative RT-PCR,and protein expression determination was realized through Western *** viability was assessed by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay and proliferation by clonogenic ***-induced apoptosis was discerned through flow cytometry *** We observed a marked upregulation of miR-298 in radio-resistant CRC ***-298 emerged as a key determinant of cell survival following radiation exposure,as its overexpression led to a notable reduction in radiation-induced ***,miR-298 expression exhibited a strong correlation with CRC cell *** investigation unveiled human dual-specificity tyrosine(Y)-regulated kinase 1A(DYRK1A)as miR-298’s direct *** Taken together,our findings underline the role played by miR-298 in bolstering radio-resistance in CRC cells by means of DYRK1A downregulation,thereby positioning miR-298 as a promising candidate for mitigating radioresistance in CRC.

Owing to their exceptional properties, high-entropy alloys(HEAs) and high-entropy materials have emerged as promising research areas and shown diverse applications. Here,the recent advances in the field are comprehensively reviewed,organized into five sections. The first section introduces the background of HEAs, covering their definition, significance,application prospects, basic properties, design principles, and microstructure. The subsequent section focuses on cutting-edge high-entropy structural materials, highlighting developments such as nanostructured alloys, grain boundary engineering,eutectic systems, cryogenic alloys, thin films, micro-nano-lattice structures, additive manufacturing, high entropy metallic glasses, nano-precipitate strengthened alloys, composition modulation, alloy fibers, and refractory systems. In the following section, the emphasis shifts to functional materials, exploring HEAs as catalysts, magneto-caloric materials, corrosion-resistant alloys, radiation-resistant alloys, hydrogen storage systems, and materials for biomedicine. Additionally, the review encompasses functional high-entropy materials outside the realm of alloys, including thermoelectric, quantum dots, nanooxide catalysts, energy storage materials, negative thermal expansion ceramics,and high-entropy wave absorption materials. The paper concludes with an outlook, discussing future directions and potential growth areas in the field. Through this comprehensive review,researchers, engineers, and scientists may gain valuable insights into the recent progress and opportunities for further exploration in the exciting domains of high-entropy alloys and functional materials.

为探究关中农村地区住宅散煤采用不同燃烧方式产生的硝基芳香族化合物(NACs)的分子组成、区域排放量及吸光贡献差异,本文选定烟煤和无烟煤,基于现场炉灶加稀释采样系统,利用超高效液相-四级杆飞行时间质谱联用仪开展煤燃烧排放NACs的特征研究.研究结果表明,关中地区煤燃烧过程中ΣNACs的平均排放因子(EF_(ΣNACs))为3.7mg/kg,其中烟煤型煤(7.5mg/kg)>无烟煤型煤(2.7mg/kg)=烟煤(2.7mg/kg)>无烟煤(1.7mg/kg),使用不同炉灶对煤进行燃烧产生的EF_(ΣNACs)差异较大,在传统炉灶中,烟煤型煤排放的EF_(ΣNACs)最高,无烟煤型煤和烟煤原煤次之,无烟煤原煤最低.使用配风炉后,烟煤型煤排放的EF_(ΣNACs)降幅最大.在365nm处ΣNACs吸光值烟煤型煤传统炉灶>无烟煤型煤传统炉灶>烟煤配风炉>烟煤型煤配风炉>无烟煤配风炉>烟煤传统炉灶>无烟煤传统炉灶.本文估算出2019年关中五市煤炭燃烧产生ΣNACs总排放量为198.8t,其中渭南(91.6t)>西安(32.2t)>咸阳(29.2t)≈宝鸡(29.0t)>铜川(16.8t).

Manipulating an exogenous or endogenous gene of interest at a defined level is critical for a wide variety of *** Gal4/UAS system has been widely used to direct gene expression for studying complex genetic and biological problems in Drosophila melanogaster and other model *** by a given tissue-specific Gal4,expressing UAS-transgene or UAS-RNAi(RNA interference)could be used to up-or down-regulate target gene expression,***,the efficiency of the Gal4/UAS system is roughly predefined by properties of transposon vector constructs and the insertion site in the transgenic ***,we describe a simple way to modulate optomotor blind(omb)expression levels in its endogenous expression region of the wing *** co-expressed UAS-omb and UAS-omb-RNAi together under the control of dpp-Gal4 driver which is expressed in the omb expression region of the wing *** repression effect is more sensitive to temperature than that of *** low temperature,overexpression plays a dominant role but the efficiency is attenuated by *** contrast,at high temperature RNAi predominates in gene expression *** this strategy,we could manipulate omb expression levels at a moderate *** allows us to manipulate omb expression levels in the same tissue between overexpression and repression at different stages by temperature control.

为了明确姜荷花不同品种花粉的形态特征及各品种之间的亲缘关系,为姜荷花品种的鉴定和利用提供重要的参考,本研究以13个姜荷花品种的花粉为试材,通过场发射环境扫描电镜对花粉形状、花粉大小及花粉外壁纹饰等形态特征进行观察,并进行比较分析。研究结果表明:姜荷花花粉存在形式为单粒,无萌发孔,花粉表面具有小颗粒状的乌氏体及黏性蛋白,花粉粒外部形态呈长球形或近球形。不同品种的花粉形状、花粉大小、花粉外壁褶皱程度均存在差异。极轴长(38.84±1.44)μm~(65.36±5.92)μm,赤道轴长(35.83±3.95)μm~(51.20±7.11)μm,花粉大小(P×E)为(1 412.12±108.22)μm~2~(3 355.71±591.01)μm~2,皱纹宽度为(0.29±0.05)μm~(0.73±0.14)μm。花粉外壁纹饰为脑皱纹,花粉大小等级为中大等。根据极轴(P)、赤道轴(E)、P/E、P×E、脑皱纹宽共5个定量特征进行系统聚类分析。13个品种姜荷花在欧式距离为15时可分成4个类群,根据聚类结果与DNA倍性大小进行育性相关分析,本研究可大致反映不同姜荷花品种间的亲缘关系,为姜荷花花粉形态的育性、分类、亲缘关系和演化提供孢粉学依据。

Synthesis and Compressive Response of Microcellular Foams Fabricated from Thermally Expandable Microspheres

Cellular foams are widely applied as protective and energy absorption materials in both civil and military fields. A facile and simple one-step heating method to fabricate polymeric foams is measured by adopting thermally expandable microspheres(TEMs). The ideal foaming parameters for various density foams were determined. Moreover, a mechanical testing machine and split Hopkinson bar(SHPB) were utilized to explore the quasi-static and dynamic compressive properties. Results showed that the cell sizes of the as-prepared TEMs foams were in the micrometer range of 11 μm to 20 μm with a uniform cell size distribution. All the foams exhibited good compressive behavior under both quasi-static and high strain rate conditions, and were related to both foam densities and strain rates. The compressive strength of the TEMs foams at 8400s^(-1) was up to 4 times higher than that at 10^(-4)s^(-1). The effects exerted by the strain rate and sample density were evaluated by a power law equation. With increasing density, the strain rate effect was more prominent. At quasistatic strain rates below 3000s^(-1) regime, initial cell wall buckling and subsequent cellular structure flattening were the main failure mechanisms. However, in the high strain rate(HSR) regime(above 5000s^(-1)), the foams were split into pieces by the following transverse inertia force.

The radial basis function （RBF） emerged as a variant of artificial neural network. Generalized regression neural network （GRNN） is one type of RBF, and its principal advantages are that it can quickly learn and rapidly converge to the optimal regression surface with large number of data sets. Hyperspectral reflectance （350 to 2500 nm） data were recorded at two different rice sites in two experiment fields with two cultivars, three nitrogen treatments and one plant density （45 plants m^-2）. Stepwise multivariable regression model （SMR） and RBF were used to compare their predictability for the leaf area index （LAI） and green leaf chlorophyll density （GLCD） of rice based on reflectance （R） and its three different transformations, the first derivative reflectance （D1）, the second derivative reflectance （D2） and the log-transformed reflectance （LOG）. GRNN based on D1 was the best model for the prediction of rice LAI and CLCD. The relationships between different transformations of reflectance and rice parameters could be further improved when RBF was employed. Owing to its strong capacity for nonlinear mapping and good robustness, GRNN could maximize the sensitivity to chlorophyll content using D1. It is concluded that RBF may provide a useful exploratory and predictive tool for the estimation of rice biophysical parameters.
