Simultaneously achieving high sensitivity and detection speed with traditional solid-state biosensors is usually limited since the target molecules must passively diffuse to the sensor surface before they can be *** techniques have been applied to shorten the diffusion time by continuously moving molecules through the biosensing ***,the binding efficiencies of the biomolecules are still limited by the inherent laminar flow inside microscale *** this study,focused traveling surface acoustic waves were directed into an acoustic microfluidic chip,which could continuously enrich the target molecules into a constriction zone for immediate detection of the immune reactions,thus significantly improving the detection sensitivity and *** demonstrate the enhancement of biosensing,we first developed an acoustic microfluidic chip integrated with a focused interdigital transducer;this transducer had the ability to capture more than 91%of passed ***,polystyrene microbeads were pre-captured with human IgG molecules at different concentrations and loaded for detection on the *** representative results,~0.63,2.62,11.78,and 19.75 seconds were needed to accumulate significant numbers of microbeads pre-captured with human IgG molecules at concentrations of 100,10,1,and 0.1 ng/mL(~0.7 pM),respectively;this process was faster than the other methods at the hour level and more sensitive than the other methods at the nanomolar *** results indicated that the proposed method could significantly improve both the sensitivity and speed,revealing the importance of selective enrichment strategies for rapid biosensing of rare molecules.

We present a comprehensive analysis of the 2021 outburst of MAXI J1803–298 utilizing observations of the Insight-Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope(Insight-HXMT)spanning from the low hard state to the high soft *** the Insight-HXMT data set,compared to the previous work,we identify a more prolonged presence of typeC quasi-periodic oscillations(QPOs)with centroid frequencies ranging from~0.16 to 6.3 Hz,which present correlations with the hardness ratio and the photon index of the Comptonized *** QPO frequencies less than~2 Hz,the QPO phase lags are hard(photons of 10–19 keV arrive later than those of 1–4 keV),while at higher frequencies,the lags become soft at and above~4 ***,the spectra in all Insight-HXMT observations consist of a multi-color blackbody component and a Comptonized component,as commonly observed in classical black hole X-ray *** analyze state transitions and the evolution of accretion geometry in this *** fitted inner disk radius increases abnormally during the low hard state,hypothesized to result from the corona condensing onto the inner ***,two significant drops in flux are observed during the soft intermediate state,maybe implying changes in the corona/jet and the disk,respectively.

Previous studies have shown that low platelet count combined with high plasma total homocysteine(tHcy)increased stroke risk and can be lowered by 73% with folic ***,the combined role of other platelet activation parameters and the methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase(MTHFR)C677T genotypes on stroke risk and folic acid treatment benefit remain to be *** study aimed to investigate if platelet activation parameters and MTHFR genotypes jointly impact folic acid treatment efficacy in first stroke *** were derived from the china Stroke Primary Prevention *** study includes a total of 11,185 adult hypertensive patients with relevant platelet activation parameters and MTHFR genotype *** simultaneously considering both platelet activation parameters(plateletcrit,platelet count,mean platelet volume,platelet distribution width)and MTHFR genotypes,patients with both low plateletcrit(Q1)and the TT genotype had the highest stroke incidence rate(5.6%)in the enalapril *** subgroup significantly benefited from folic acid treatment,with a 66% reduction in first stroke(HR:0.34;95%CI:0.14-0.82;p=0.016).Consistently,the subgroup with low plateletcrit(Q1)and the CC/CT genotype also benefited from folic acid treatment(HR:0.40;95%CI:0.23-0.70;p=0.001).In Chinese hypertensive adults,low plateletcrit can identify those who may greatly benefit from folic acid treatment,in particular,those with the TT genotype,a subpopulation known to have the highest stroke risk.

This work presents a promising clinical molecular diagnostics for early stage lung cancer. This novel diagnostic method utilized the loopmediated isothermal amplification （LAMP）, micro fluidic chips and a confocal optical detector with a nonlinear fluorescent filter processor. An isothermal amplification based microfluidic chip for the early diagnostics of lung cancer was developed and a confocal optical detector was improved by a novel real-time fluorescent filter to sensitively monitor the DNA amplification procedure with high signal to noise ratio and fluorescence collecting ability. Experiment showed that a rapid diagnostic of lung cancer by detecting the existence of the CEA mRNA could be performed in only 5 laL of reaction assay in less than 45 min. While the traditional intube RTPCR set consumed more than 25 -μL of the assay and took more than 90 rain.

Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)h ave attracted widespread attention due to their large surface area and porous *** designing the nanostructures of MOFs to promote their application in ethanol electrooxidation is still a ***,a novel Cu-NCNs(Cu-nitrogen-doped carbon nanotubes)support was synthesized by pyrolysis of melamine(MEL)and Cu-ZIF-8 together,and then,Pd-Au nanoalloys were loaded by sodium borohydride reduction method to prepare PdAu@Cu-NCNs *** generating mesoporous carbon with high specific surface area and favorable electron and mass transport can be used as a potential excellent carrier for PdAu *** addition,the balance of catalyst composition and surface structure was tuned by controlling the content of Pd and ***,the best-performed Pd_(2)Au_(2)@Cu-NCN-1000-2(where 1000 means the carrier calcination temperature,and 2 means the calcination constant temperature time)catalyst exhibits better long-term stability and electrochemical activity for ethanol oxidation in alkaline media(4.80 A·mg^(-1)),which is 5.05 times higher than that of commercial Pd/C(0.95 A·mg^(-1)).Therefore,this work is beneficial to further promoting the application of MOFs in direct ethanol fuel cells(DEFCs)and can be used as inspiration for the design of more efficient catalyst support structures.

Dear Editor,liver sinusoidal endothelial cells （LSECs） are the most abundant non-parenchymal and highly specialized fenes- trated cells in the liver. LSECs differ from endothelial cells of other capillaries due to the presence of open fenestrations and the absence of a basal lamina （Wisse et al., 1996; Braet and Wisse, 2002; Aird, 2007; Cogger et at., 2008）. During the differentiation process, LSECs become fenestrated to facilitate the transfer of circulating nutrients, lipids, and lipoproteins between blood and the space of Disse for normal liver metabolism. Only particles smaller than the fenestrae can reach the hepatocytes or leave the space of Disse （Wisse et al., 1985）. The size of fenestration changes upon different conditions to regulate the substrate exchange.

DEAD-box helicase 17(DDX17)is a typical member of the DEAD-box family with transcriptional cofactor *** DDX17 is abundantly expressed in the myocardium,its role in heart is not fully *** generated cardiomyocyte-specific Ddx17-knockout mice(Ddx17-cKO),cardiomyocyte-specific Ddx17 transgenic mice(Ddx17-Tg),and various models of cardiomyocyte injury and heart failure(HF).DDX17 is downregulated in the myocardium of mouse models of heart failure and cardiomyocyte ***-specific knockout of Ddx17 promotes autophagic flux blockage and cardiomyocyte apoptosis,leading to progressive cardiac dysfunction,maladaptive remodeling and progression to heart *** of DDX17 expression in cardiomyocytes protects cardiac function under pathological *** studies showed that DDX17 can bind to the transcriptional repressor B-cell lymphoma 6(BCL6)and inhibit the expression of dynamin-related protein 1(DRP1).When DDX17 expression is reduced,transcriptional repression of BCL6 is attenuated,leading to increased DRP1 expression and mitochondrial fission,which in turn leads to impaired mitochondrial homeostasis and heart *** also investigated the correlation of DDX17 expression with cardiac function and DRP1 expression in myocardial biopsy samples from patients with heart *** findings suggest that DDX17 protects cardiac function by promoting mitochondrial homeostasis through the BCL6-DRP1 pathway in heart failure.
