Recently it has been pointed out that the skyrmions carry two independent topologies,the baryon topology and the monopole topology[1].According to this philosophy,the baryon number B of skyrmions could be decomposed to the monopole number m and shell(radial)number n,so that the baryon number is given by B=mn.This indicates that the skyrmion should be described by two types of topology.In this letter we show that baby skyrmions can also be generalized to have two topologiesπ1(S1)andπ2S2,and thus they are classified by two topological numbers m and n.This confirms the result in Ref.[1]that skyrmions carry two independent topologies.

Despite of the fact that the quark model has been very successful in describing hadron spectrum, there are still some exotic states cannot be explained well. 目的:评价前列腺癌(PCa)图像引导放疗(IGRT)中水凝胶注入后的不良事件(AE)、患者直肠毒性和生活质量(QOL)。方法:筛选2022年10月至2023年3月在我院放疗科接受IGRT的PCa患者70例。采用简单随机分配法将患者均分为注入水凝胶的试验组(n=35)和未注入的对照组(n=35)。采用疼痛视觉模拟评分(VAS)和常见不良事件评价标准(CTCAE)5.0评价术后AE。比较两组急性和晚期放射性直肠炎(RP)发生率和QOL评分。结果:试验组水凝胶注入术中和术后6 h VAS分别为(2.31±0.59)分和(1.43±0.47)分,首次大小便后分别为(1.52±0.33)分和(1.10±0.28)分。试验组5.71%和2.86%的患者分别存在严重出血和手术区域感染。试验组8.57%的患者发生了急性Ⅰ级RP,2.86%的患者发生了晚期Ⅰ级RP;对照组28.57%的患者发生了急性Ⅰ级RP,11.43%的患者发生了急性Ⅱ级RP;对照组17.14%的患者发生晚期Ⅰ级RP,5.71%的患者发生晚期Ⅱ级RP。试验组RP发生率低于对照组,水凝胶的注入降低了患者直肠毒性。自IGRT开始后第3周起,试验组QOL评分显著高于对照组(均P<0.05),水凝胶的注入在一定程度上提高了患者QOL。结论:水凝胶在PCa IGRT中应用时安全性较为理想,能够降低患者直肠毒性和在一定程度上提高QOL,具有一定临床应用价值。

Based on both the constituent quark picture and the instanton model for QCD vacuum, we calculate the unpolarized and polarized gluon distributions in the constituent quark and in the nucleon. Our approach consists of two main steps. At the first step, we follow the Altarelli-Parisi (AP) approach[1] to calculate the gluon distributions inside the constituent quark generated by the perturbative quark-gluon interaction, the non-perturbative quarkgluon interaction, and the non-perturbative quark-gluon-pion anomalous chromomagnetic interaction. The nonperturbative interactions are related to the existence of the instantons, strong topological fluctuations of gluon fields, in the QCD vacuum. At the second step, the convolution model is applied to derive the gluon distributions in the nucleon.

We suggest a new mechanism of the inclusive production of pions in high energy reactions, also knows as anomalous pion production (APP) since the formation of the pions happens at short distances due to instantons which have a much smaller size in comparison with the confinement scale. Furthermore, in our approach it is not needed to include in the calculation any fragmentation functions which are related to the hadronization and, therefore, to the confinement dynamics. As the result, the value of the inclusive pion cross section is determined by the structure of the short range fluctuations of gluonic fields in the QCD vacuum. This mechanism breaks the pQCD factorization and might be a corner stone of various phenomena observed in high energy reactions in the few GeV range for the transfer momentum.

The twisted(vortex)electron beams carrying intrinsic orbital angular momentum(OAM)is recently predicted in Ref.[1],which opens new possibilities in the electron microscopy and investigations of magnetic phenomena.In recent experiments,the twisted electron beam with large intrinsic OAMs has been realized by electron microscopes with spiral phase plates,holography and other techniques.These experiments enable us to study the basic properties of free twisted electron,however,the theoretical descriptions to the phenomena(like dynamics of intrinsic OAM)of the twisted electron are still controversial.So in our recent work[2,3],we proposed a general relativistic description for the classical and quantum dynamics of twisted electron.

Twisted(vortex)particles with intninsicorbital angular momenta(OAMs)even in free space areof significant importancein modem physics and have important aplications.Twisted photons and electrons were discoveredin 1992 and 2010,respectively.The maximum observed OAMs were about 10000 for photons and 1000h for electrons.Recently,twisted neutrons,atoms,and molecules werealso discovered.Ina magnetic field,charged particles move ina helicaltra-jectory(on acirclein the transverseplane).In thequantum-mechanical picture,a particle trajectory cannot bedefined,butits equations ofmotionareequivalentto the coresponding classical ones.Twisted particles in free space are not under the influence of any external forces.Twisted states appear as the coherent su-perpositions of noninteracting partial de Broglie waves with different directions of transverse momenta.
