Audio-Text Multimodal Speech Recognition via Dual-Tower Architecture for Mandarin Air Traffic Control Communications

In air traffic control communications (ATCC), misunderstandings between pilots and controllers could result in fatal aviation accidents. Fortunately, advanced automatic speech recognition technology has emerged as a promising means of preventing miscommunications and enhancing aviation safety. However, most existing speech recognition methods merely incorporate external language models on the decoder side, leading to insufficient semantic alignment between speech and text modalities during the encoding phase. Furthermore, it is challenging to model acoustic context dependencies over long distances due to the longer speech sequences than text, especially for the extended ATCC data. To address these issues, we propose a speech-text multimodal dual-tower architecture for speech recognition. It employs cross-modal interactions to achieve close semantic alignment during the encoding stage and strengthen its capabilities in modeling auditory long-distance context dependencies. In addition, a two-stage training strategy is elaborately devised to derive semantics-aware acoustic representations effectively. The first stage focuses on pre-training the speech-text multimodal encoding module to enhance inter-modal semantic alignment and aural long-distance context dependencies. The second stage fine-tunes the entire network to bridge the input modality variation gap between the training and inference phases and boost generalization performance. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed speech-text multimodal speech recognition method on the ATCC and AISHELL-1 datasets. It reduces the character error rate to 6.54% and 8.73%, respectively, and exhibits substantial performance gains of 28.76% and 23.82% compared with the best baseline model. The case studies indicate that the obtained semantics-aware acoustic representations aid in accurately recognizing terms with similar pronunciations but distinctive semantics. In order to meet the demand of high-precision heading angle transmission in the transfer alignment of inertial navigation system on moving base,the analytical function relationship between the hull deforma-tion and the turning angular velocity and angular acceleration was derived by using the classical beam theory based on the analysis of the equivalent load exerted by the hydrodynamic force and inertia force on the hull structure during the turning process under the combined action of the steering rudder mo-ment and wave *** objective law between the angular motion and the azimuth deformation angle of the hull under the combined action of maneuvering and sea waves was ***,the correc-tion coefficients were determined according to the left turn and right turn motions of the hull by using the measured data of the ship in the sea trial during the S-shape maneuvering navigation,and the az-imuth deformation angle correction was *** results indicated that the application of the Qu’s bending deformation correction formula could greatly reduce the influence of the hull flexural deforma-tion on the heading angle accuracy,meet the needs of high-precision heading angle transmission,and fully verify the correctness of the hull azimuth deformation law and the heading angle transmission er-ror correction *** theory and method provided technical support for establishing high-precision distributed digital reference in the field of transfer alignment of inertial navigation on moving base and the application of heading angle transfer of other shipborne equipment.

Fracture in ductile materials often occurs in conjunction with plastic ***,in the bond-based peridynamic(BB-PD)theory,the classic mechanical stress is not defined *** makes it difficult to describe plasticity directly using the classical plastic *** address the above issue,a unified bond-based peridynamics model was proposed as an effective tool to solve elastoplastic fracture *** to the existing models,the proposed model directly describes the elastoplastic theory at the bond level without the need for additional calculation *** results obtained in the context of this model are shown to be consistent with FEM results in regard to force-displacement curves,displacement fields,stress fields,and plastic deformation *** model exhibits good capability of capturing crack propagation in ductile material failure problems.

Scalable graphene foam with ultrahigh conductivity for stabilizing Pt towards efficient hydrogen evolution

For the carbon-based catalyst to be active and stable,especially in harsh electrochemical environments,the key is to decrease the concentration of defects and raise the degree of graphitization of the carbon ***,we develop a highly graphitized graphene foam with multiplicated structure to fabricate self-supporting Pt-based catalysts for efficient and stable hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)*** foam(GO-2850)is obtained through an ultra-high temperature treatment at 2850℃,with perfect graphene structure and extremely low defect,ensuring high electrical conductivity and corrosion ***,its multiplicated structure provides an inherently favorable environment for the dispersion of Pt nanoparticles(Pt NPs)and offers abundant channels for electrolyte infiltration during the catalytic *** a result,the as-prepared Pt/GO-2850 is far active and stable than the Pt NPs supported on commercial carbon paper(Pt/CP)counterpart toward catalyzing HER,exhibiting an outstanding activity and long-term durability(300 h@10 mA·cm^(−2))in acidic/alkaline/seawater *** can be attributed to the stronger interaction between the lower-defect GO-2850 substrate and Pt,as evidenced by characterization and theoretical *** work extends further insight into the design self-supporting catalysts of high activity and stability with promising prominent application toward green energy devices.

Predicting Users’ Latent Suicidal Risk in Social Media: An Ensemble Model Based on Social Network Relationships

Suicide has become a critical concern,necessitating the development of effective preventative *** media platforms offer a valuable resource for identifying signs of suicidal *** progress in detecting suicidal ideation on social media,accurately identifying individuals who express suicidal thoughts less openly or infrequently poses a significant *** tackle this,we have developed a dataset focused on Chinese suicide narratives from Weibo’s Tree Hole feature and introduced an ensemble model named Text Convolutional Neural Network based on Social Network relationships(TCNN-SN).This model enhances predictive performance by leveraging social network relationship features and applying correction factors within a weighted linear fusion *** is specifically designed to identify key individuals who can help uncover hidden suicidal users and *** model,assessed using the bespoke dataset and benchmarked against alternative classification approaches,demonstrates superior accuracy,F1-score and AUC metrics,achieving 88.57%,88.75%and 94.25%,respectively,outperforming traditional TextCNN models by 12.18%,10.84%and 10.85%.We assert that our methodology offers a significant advancement in the predictive identification of individuals at risk,thereby contributing to the prevention and reduction of suicide incidences.

CircTHSD4 promotes the malignancy and docetaxel (DTX) resistance in prostate cancer by regulating miR-203/HMGA2 axis

Objective:Circular ribose nudeic acids(circRNAs)are implicated in tumor progression and drug resistance of prostate cancer(PCa).The current work explored the function of circ_0005203(aircTHSD4)in the malignancy and docetaxel(DTX)resistance of ***:circTHSD4 expression within PCa as well as matched non-carcinoma samples was measured through real time reverse transcription quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR).In addition,a subcellular fraction assay was conducted to determine circTHSD4 subcellular localization within PCa *** addition,we performed a Western blot(WB)assay to detect high *** A2 protein(HMGA2)***,functional associations of two molecules were investigated through dual luciferase reporter *** Counting Kit(CCK)-8,colony formation together with Transwell assay was conducted to assess malignant phenotypes of PCa cells,whereas flow cytometry was performed to determine cell ***,a xenograft mouse model was constructed to verify the effect of circTHSD4 on the carcinogenesis of PCa ***:According to RT-qPCR results,circTHSD4 was up-regulated within PCa tissues and cells,which predicted the dismal prognostic outcome of PCa ***4 silencing within PCa cells markedly suppressed cell growth,migration,and colony ***4 silencing remarkably elevated PCa cell apoptosis and carcinogenesis within the xenograft ***,circTHSD4 silencing enhanced docetaxel(DTX)sensitivity in PCa ***,we demonstrated that circTHSD4 modulated the malignancy of PCa cells by regulating HMGA2 expression through sponging miR ***:Together,our findings suggest that cirCTHSD4 overexpression could promote the malignant phenotype and DTX resistance in PCa through the regulation of the miR 203/HMGA2 axis.

The Sabatier principle has been widely used for designing electrocatalysts for energy conversion applications,but it is rarely mentioned in the research of cathode catalyst of Li-CO_(2) *** our work,the"volcanic"relationship between the catalytic activity and the adsorption energy of the catalyst to the intermediates is first demonstrated based on the first-principles calculation,which meets the Sabatier principle and can be used to design the cathode *** increases in the number of nitrogenvacancy in WN shift the d-band center and increase the interaction with the *** catalytic activity increases first and then decreases with the increase of adsorption energy,which was proved in the *** optimal catalyst for moderate adsorption of intermediate makes the thin LiaCO_(3) distribute *** exhibits a median voltage difference of 0.68 V and an energy efficiency of 84.33%at20μA cm^(-2)with a limited capacity of 200μA h cm^(-2).

Non-destructive method of small sample sets for the maize moisture content measurement during filling based on NIRS

In maize breeding,limitations on sampling quantity and associated costs for measuring maize grain moisture during filling are imposed by factors like the planting area of new varieties,maize plant density,effective experimental spikes,and other ***,the conventional method of detecting moisture content in maize grains is slow,damages seeds,and necessitates many sample sets,particularly for high moisture content ***,a strong demand exists for a non-destructive quantitative analysis model of maize moisture content using a small sample set during grain *** Bayes-Merged-Bootstrap(BMB)sample optimization method,which built upon the Bayes-Bootstrap sampling method and the concept of merging,was proposed.A critical concern in dealing with small samples is the relationship between data distribution,minimum sample value,and sample size,which has been thoroughly *** to the Bayes-Bootstrap sample selection method,the BMB method offers distinct advantages in the optimized selection of small samples for non-destructive *** quantitative analysis model for maize grain moisture content was established based on the support vector machine *** demonstrate that when the optimal resampling size is 1000 times or more than the original sample size using the BMB method,the model exhibits strong predictive capabilities,with a determination coefficient(R2)>0.989 and a relative prediction determination(RPD)>*** results of the 3 varieties experiment demonstrate the generality of the ***,it can be applied effectively in practical maize breeding and determining grain moisture content during maize machine harvesting.
