A synthesis of the Cretaceous wildfire record related to atmospheric oxygen levels?

The Cretaceous was a significant greenhouse period in Earth's history with higher atmospheric co_(2) levels and temperatures than today. Although evidence of combustion has been widely described from the Cretaceous deposits, our understanding of the spatiotemporal diversification pattern and process of the Cretaceous wildfires is still limited. In this study, we comprehensively synthesize a total of 271 published Cretaceous wildfire occurrences based on the by-products of burning, including fossil charcoal, pyrogenic inertinite(fossil charcoal in coal), and pyrogenic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs). Spatially, the dataset shows a distinctive distribution of reported wildfire evidence characterized by high concentration in the middle latitudinal areas of the Northern Hemisphere(30°N-60°N) over the Cretaceous. Temporally, an overall increasing trend of the reported wildfire data from the Early Cretaceous to the Late Cretaceous is coincident with higher atmospheric O_(2) levels. However, the spatial and temporal patterns may result from many types of factors, such as taphonomy, preservation, and researcher biases, instead of a real picture of the Cretaceous wildfire evolution. To better understand the spatiotemporal diversification of the Cretaceous wildfire, more investigations on the record of wildfire occurrences during this period would be necessary in the future.

井工煤矿甲烷排放精准监测与核算

甲烷作为全球第二大温室气体,具有增温潜势高、寿命短的特点,主要来源于煤炭、油气生产、农业、畜牧业和废弃物处理等领域。积极稳妥有序控制甲烷排放,兼具减缓全球温升的气候效益、能源资源化利用的经济效益、协同控制污染物的环境效益和减少生产事故的安全效益。甲烷也是煤矿生产排放中最主要的温室气体,目前对煤矿甲烷的排放监测及其在煤矿三维立体空间内的浓度分布研究将成为我国甲烷排放控制行动的重点,对煤矿企业更好顺应国家战略具有重要意义。选取山西某高瓦斯矿井、陕西某低瓦斯矿井进行甲烷排放监测核算,以固定监测、手工监测、无人机监测及矿后活动监测等方式研究我国高低瓦斯矿井甲烷分布,并对其甲烷排放量开展分析。结果表明:①美国Climate TRACE网站公布的山西某高瓦斯矿井、陕西某低瓦斯矿井2022年度甲烷排放量与实测法计算的结果差异较大,其中公布的某低瓦斯矿井年度甲烷排放量为实测法计算结果的10.92倍,自上而下的监测核算方法准确性不足,无法为碳交易提供可靠的数据支持。②矿后活动监测核算发现,采用IPCC缺省值计算的矿后活动甲烷排放量是实测法计算的3~5倍,且不同粒径和暴露时间下煤样反馈的矿后活动排放量差异较大。亟需一套统一精准的测试标准,为未来碳市场交易提供公平准确的数据。

Through-casing resistivity logging (TCRL) is a new kind of logging method for formation evaluation,reservoir monitoring and saturation changes tracking. In this paper,the basic principle of TCRL is de-tailed,and the modified transmission line equation method (MTLEM) is first proposed in china. The MTLEM has been employed to simulate the responses of TCRL,on the basis of which,the effects of formation resistivity,cement and casing on the responses of TCRL are analyzed,and the signals in-duced in different formations are also calculated,which can help the design of TCRL tool and data processing and interpretation in china.

Mechanical behaviors of warm and ice-rich frozen soil stabilized with sulphoaluminate cement

The warm and ice-rich frozen soil is characterized by high unfrozen water content, low shear strength and large compressibility, which is unreliable to meet the stability requirements of engineering infrastructures and foundations in permafrost regions. In this study, a novel approach for stabilizing the warm and ice-rich frozen soil with sulphoaluminate cement was proposed based on chemical stabilization. The mechanical behaviors of the stabilized soil, such as strength and stress-strain relationship, were investigated through a series of triaxial compression tests conducted at -1.0℃, and the mechanism of strength variations of the stabilized soil was also explained based on scanning electron microscope test. The investigations indicated that the strength of stabilized soil to resist failure has been improved, and the linear Mohr-coulomb criteria can accurately reflect the shear strength of stabilized soil under various applied confining pressure. The increase in both curing age and cement mixing ratio were favorable to the growth of cohesion and internal friction angle. More importantly, the strength improvement mechanism of the stabilized soil is attributed to the formation of structural skeleton and the generation of cementitious hydration products within itself. Therefore, the investigations conducted in this study provide valuable references for chemical stabilization of warm and ice-rich frozen ground, thereby providing a basis for in-situ ground improvement for reinforcing warm and ice-rich permafrost foundations by soil-cement column installation.

The Influence of Deposition Temperature on the Epitaxial Growth of La_(0.7)Ca_(0.3)MnO_3 Thin Film

The growth conditions of La0.7Ca0.3MnO3(LCMO) epitaxial thin film are *** results indicate that the deposition temperature plays a crucial role on the growth mode of LCMO thin *** is an optimal deposition temperature,To,for the epitaxial growth of LCMO thin *** only at the To,the real epitaxial LCMO thin film can be *** the deposition temperature deviates from the To,the thin film tends to be polycrystalline,although it orientes growth along a certain direction(a or c axis).Moreover,the experimental results show that just only for the epitaxial thin film the ferromagnetic-paramagnetic transition temperature(*** courier temperature Tc) equals to the metal-semiconductor transition temperature(Tp).The ferromagnetic state shows metallicity and the paramagnetic state exhibits semiconducting character.

With the increasing demand for energy conservation and emission reduction,more attentions have been paid to the intelligentization,greenization and low carbonization during the transformation and upgrading of steelmaking *** furnace(LF)refining is one of the key procedures in steelmaking process and has been widely used in steelmaking plants for its high equipment matching degree,low equipment investment and outstanding refining *** to the main tasks of LF refining process,the modeling methods of temperature prediction model,slag-making model,alloying model,argon blowing model and model of inclusions behavior were systematically reviewed,and the advantages and disadvantages of each modeling method were *** addition,the technical framework for the future has also been proposed based on existing works,including classification of raw materials,graphic representation of knowledge,introduction,upgradation and management of device/equipment,customization of steelmaking,modeling of refining process,synergy of models,intelligentization of decision-making,automation of control,and digitization of processes and operations,aiming to provide a reference for the modeling and intelligent development of LF refining process.

Genome-Wide Association Study of cooked Rice Textural Attributes and Starch Physicochemical Properties in indica Rice

Long‐life lithium batteries enabled by a pseudo‐oversaturated electrolyte

The specific energy of Li metal batteries(LMBs)can be improved by using high‐voltage cathode materials;however,achieving long‐term stable cycling performance in the corresponding system is particularly challenging for the liquid ***,a novel pseudo‐oversaturated electrolyte(POSE)is prepared by introducing 1,1,2,2‐tetrafluoroethyl‐2,2,3,3‐tetrafluoropropyl ether(TTE)to adjust the coordination structure between diglyme(G2)and lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide(LiTFSI).Surprisingly,although TTE shows little solubility to LiTFSI,the molar ratio between LiTFSI and G2 in the POSE can be increased to 1:1,which is much higher than that of the saturation state,1:*** and experimental results prove that TTE promotes closer contact of the G2 molecular with Li^(+)in the ***,it also participates in the formation of electrolyte/electrode *** electrolyte shows outstanding compatibility with both the Li metal anode and typical high‐voltage ***||Li symmetric cells show a long life of more than 2000 h at 1 mA cm^(−2),1 mAh cm^(−2).In the meantime,Li||LiNi_(0.8)co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)(NCM811)cell with the POSE shows a high reversible capacity of 134.8 mAh g^(−1 )after 900 cycles at 4.5 V,1 C *** concept of POSE can provide new insight into the Li^(+)solvation structure and in the design of advanced electrolytes for LMBs.
