The geological conditions for coal mining in China are complex,with various structural issues such as faults and collapsed columns seriously compromising the safety of coal mine ***-seam wave exploration is an effective technique for acquiring detailed information on geological structures in coal seam working ***,the existing reflected in-seam wave imaging technique can no longer meet the exploration precision requirements,making it imperative to develop a new reflected in-seam wave imaging *** study applies the Gaussian beam summation(GBS)migration method to imaging coal seams'reflected in-seam wave ***,with regard to the characteristics of the reflected in-seam wave data,methods such as wavefield removal and enveloped superposition are employed for the corresponding wavefield separation,wave train compression and other processing of reflected in-seam ***,imaging is performed using the GBS migration *** feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method for reflected in-seam wave imaging are validated by conducting GBS migration tests on 3D coal-seam fault models with different dip angles and *** applying the method to reflected in-seam wave data for an actual coal seam working face,accurate imaging of a fault structure is obtained,thereby validating its practicality.

The significant increase in the demand for biomass waste treatment after garbage classification has led to housefly larvae treatment becoming an attractive treatment *** can provide a source of protein while treating biomass waste,which means that nutrients can be returned to the natural food ***,the performance of this technology in terms of its environmental impacts is still unclear,particularly with regards to global warming potential(GWP).This study used a life cycle assessment(lCA)approach to assess a housefly larvae treatment plant with a treatment capacity of 50 tons of biomass waste per *** lCA results showed that the 95% confidence intervals for the GWP in summer and winter were determined to be 24.46-32.81 kg CO_(2) equivalent(CO_(2)-eq)/ton biomass waste and5.37-10.08 kg CO_(2)-eq/ton biomass waste,*** greater GWP value in summer is due to the longer ventilation time and higher ventilation intensity in summer,which consumes more *** main GWP contributions are from(1)electricity needs(accounting for 78.6% of emissions in summer and 70.2%in winter)and(2)product substitution by mature housefly larvae and compost(both summer and winter accounting for 96.8% of carbon reduction).

This study defines and assesses the selection ciiteria for suitable particulate materials to be used in an upflow bubbling fluidized bed (UBFB) or dense up-flow powder circulation system for solar energy capture and storage. The main criteria identified are based on the thermophysical and thermomechanical properties, attrition behavior, and the considerations of health and environmental hazards of the candidate powders. Finally, a cost comparison and tentative ranking of the different can didate powders is presented in addition to a weighted scoring. Significant scoring differences can be observed between the various materials. Olivine possesses the most favorable characteristics and appears to be the particulate material of choice for solid/gas suspension heat transfer fluids.

Transition metal chalcogenides represent a class of the most promising alternative electrode materials for high-performance lithium-ion batteries （lIBs） owing to their high theoretical capacities. However, they suffer from large volume expansion, particle agglomeration, and low conductivity during charge/discharge processes, leading to unsatisfactory energy storage performance. In order to address these issues, we rationally designed three-dimensional （3D） hybrid composites consisting of ZnSe nanodots uniformly confined within a N-doped porous carbon network （ZnSe ND@N-PC） obtained via a convenient pyrolysis process. When used as anodes for lIBs, the composites exhibited outstanding electrochemical performance, with a high reversible capacity （1,134 mA.h.g-1 at a current density of 600 mA.g-1 after 500 cycles） and excellent rate capability （696 and 474 mA.h.g-1 at current densities of 6.4 and 12.8 A.g-1, respectively）. The significantly improved lithium storage performance can be attributed to the 3D architecture of the hybrid composites, which not only mitigated the internal mechanical stress induced by the volume change and formed a 3D conductive network during cycling, but also provided a large reactive area and reduced the lithium diffusion distance. The strategy reported here may open a new avenue for the design of other multi functional composites towards high-performance energy storage devices.

OBJECTIVE:To treat patients with psoriasis vulgaris using Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),one must stratify patients into subtypes(known as TCM syndromes or Zheng)and apply appropriate TCM treatments to different ***,no unified symptom-based classification scheme of subtypes(Zheng)exists for psoriasis *** present paper aims to classify patients with psoriasis vulgaris into different subtypes via the analysis of clinical TCM symptom and sign ***:A cross-sectional survey was carried out in Beijing from 2005-2008,collecting clinical TCM symptom and sign data from 2764 patients with psoriasis *** 108 symptoms and signs were initially analyzed using latent tree analysis,with a selection of the resulting latent variables then used as features to cluster patients into ***:The initial latent tree analysis yielded a model with 43 latent *** second phase of the analysis divided patients into three subtype groups with clear TCM Zheng connotations:'blood deficiency and wind dryness';'blood heat';and'blood stasis'.CONClUSIONS:Via two-phase analysis of clinic symptom and sign data,three different Zheng subtypes were identified for psoriasis *** characteristics of the three subtypes are *** constitutes an evidence-based solution to the syndromedifferentiation problem that exists with psoriasis vulgaris.

The artificial surfaces are applied to study the pool boiling features, including the bubble behaviors, the surface temperature fluctuation, the heat transfer characteristics and nucleate site interaction. Three sets of experiments are carried out to investigate the influences of cavity shape, cavity size, cavity spacing on the boiling phenomena. Experimental results reveal that bubbling from the cylindrical as well as reentrant cavity is generally stable. The influence of cavity diameter on the bubble behaviors and the temperature fluctuation seems very weak while the effect of cavity depth cannot be neglected. As for the two cavity conditions, the bubble behaviors show the different features depending on the dimensionless cavity spacing. Three significant factors (thermal interaction, hydraulic interaction, bubble coalescence) control the nucleation site interaction, and the competition and dominance of the factors yield four interaction regimes.

Grain-boundary(GB)precipitation has a significant adverse effect on plasticity of alloys,which easily leads to catastrophic intergranular failure in safety-critical applications under high external ***,we report a novel strategy that uses the local stress concentration induced by GB precipitates as a driving force to trigger phase transformation of preset non-equiatomic high-entropy solid-solution phase at *** in situ deformation-induced phase transformation at GBs introduces a well-known effect:transformation-induced plasticity(TRIP),which enables an exceptional elongation to fracture(above 38%)at a high strength(above 1.5 GPa)in a GB precipitation-hardened high-entropy alloy(HEA).The present strategy in terms of"local stress concentration-induced phase transformations at GBs"may provide a fundamental approach by taking advantage of(rather than avoiding)the GB precipitation to gain a superior combination of high strength and high ductility in HEAs.

Uveal melanoma is the most common intraocular cancer in the adult eye.R183 and Q209 were found to be mutational hotspots in exon 4 and exon 5 of GNAQ and GNA11 in ***,only a few studies have reported somaticmutations in GNAQ or GNA11 in uveal melanoma in *** extracted somatic DNA from paraffin-embedded biopsies of 63 Chinese uveal melanoma samples and sequenced the entire coding regions of exons 4 and 5 in GNAQ and *** results showed that 33%of Chinese uveal melanoma samples carried Q209 mutations while none had R183 mutation in GNAQ or *** addition,seven novel missense somatic mutations in GNAQ(Y192C,F194l,P170S,D236N,l232F,V230A,and M227I)and four novel missense somatic mutations in GNA11(R166C,I200T,S225F,and V206M)were found in our *** high mutation frequency of Q209 and the novel missense mutations detected in this study suggest that GNAQ and GNA11 are common targets for somatic mutations in Chinese uveal melanoma.

Effects of SiC Nanoparticle Content on the Microstructure and Tensile Mechanical Properties of Ultrafine Grained AA6063-SiC_(np) Nanocomposites Fabricated by Powder Metallurgy

Ultrafine grained AA6063-SiCnpnanocomposites with 1, 5 and 10 vol.% SiCnphave been fabricated by a novel powder metallurgy process. This process combines high energy ball milling of a mixture of 6063 alloy granules made from machining chips and Si C nanoparticles and thermomechanical powder consolidation by spark plasma sintering and hot extrusion. The microstructure and tensile mechanical properties of the samples were investigated in detail. Increasing the Si C nanoparticle content from 1 to 10 vol.%,the yield strength and ultimate tensile strength increased from 296 and 343 MPa to 545 and 603 MPa respectively, and the elongation to fracture decreased from 10.0%, to 2.3%. As expected, a higher Si C nanoparticle content generates a stronger inhibiting effect to grain growth during the thermomechanical powder consolidation process. Analysis of the contributions of various strengthening mechanisms shows that a higher Si C nanoparticle content leads to a higher contribution from nanoparticle strengthening, but grain boundary strengthening still makes the largest contribution to the strength of the *** the Si C nanoparticle content increased to 10 vol.%, the failure of the nanocomposite was initiated at weakly-bonded interparticle boundaries(IPBs), indicating that with a high flow stress during tensile deformation, the failure of the material is more sensitive to the presence of weakly-bonded IPBs.
