Wing dimorphism is regarded as an important phenotypic plasticity involved in the migration and reproduction of ***,the signal transduction and regulatory mechanism of wing dimorphism in aphids are still ***,the optimal environmental conditions were first explored for inducing winged offspring of green peach aphid,and the short photoperiod was the most important environmental cue to regulate wing *** to 16 L:8 D photoperiod,the proportion of winged offspring increased to 90%under 8 L:16 D ***,5 differentially expressed microRNAs(miRNAs)in aphids treated with long and short photoperiods were identified using small RNA sequencing,and a novel miR-3040 was identified as a vital miRNA involved in photoperiod-mediated wing *** specifically,the inhibition of miR-3040 expression could reduce the proportion of winged offspring induced by short photoperiod,whereas its activation increased the proportion of winged offspring under long ***,the expression level of miR-3040 in winged aphids was about 2.5 times that of wingless aphids,and the activation or inhibition of miR-3040 expression could cause wing deformity,revealing the dual-role regulator of miR-3040 in wing dimorphism and wing *** summary,the current study identified the key environmental cue for wing dimorphism in green peach aphid,and the first to demonstrate the dual-role regulator of miR-3040 in photoperiod-mediated wing dimorphism and wing development.

Exploring transition metal sulfide electrocatalysts with high-efficiency for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)is essential to produce H_(2) fuel through water ***,novel nickel tungsten sulfide heterojunction(NiS-WS_(2))with a nanowoven ball-like structure were directed synthetized by a facile hydrothermal *** hierarchical Ni S-WS_(2) exhibited excellent HER activity with a relatively small overpotential of 142 and 137 m V at 10 m A/cm^(2) in 0.5 mol/L H_(2)SO_(4) and 1 mol/L KOH,which is much better than that of single NiS and WS_(2).The impressive performance of NiS-WS_(2) heterojunction is owed to the collective synergy of special morphological and more exposed active sites between the crystal interfacial of NiS and WS_(2).In addition,the hierarchical NiS-WS_(2) can facilitate the transport of charge/mass by optimized electronic structure,which further improves the HER activity of *** outcomes provide a simple method to prospect towards the design and application of heterostructures as efficient electrocatalysts,shedding some light on the development of functional materials in energy chemistry.

The facile synthesis of single-crystal hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks（HOFs） on a gram scale remains a significant challenge but is crucial for practical applications. Herein, we report a novel strategy to prepare two three-dimensional（3D）single-crystal HOFs at ambient temperature and pressure with gram-scale products. The imine-linked oligomers were synthesized using ionic liquids as catalysts, which self-assembled in situ to form large single crystals. The optimal material, H1,exhibited iodine uptake capacities of 6.02 and 4.44 g g-1from vapor and aqueous solutions, respectively, ranking among the highest reported HOFs. For the first time, the iodine-adsorbed H1 was used as an iodine source for synthesizing β-iodoethers,achieving excellent yields comparable to those obtained using iodine as the reactant. This study not only presents a simple method for the scalable synthesis of single-crystal HOFs but also explores a potential application of iodine-adsorbed materials in organic synthesis.
