Objectives:The aim of this multicenter,prospective,single-arm pilot study(*** number:NCT05040074)was to observe the procedural and 30-day results of the novel transcatheter mitral valve repair system,SQ-Kyrin■-M Clip(Shenqi Medical,Shanghai,China),in patients with severe mitral regurgitation(MR).Methods:The heart team considered patients from 5 centers in China with clinically significant functional mitral regurgitation≥3+despite optimal medical therapy or degenerative mitral regurgitation≥3+with high surgical risk as candidates for transcatheter *** patients received transcatheter edge-to-edge mitral valve repair under general *** primary outcome was technical success,which included all of the following measured at the exit from the catheterization laboratory:(1)absence of procedural mortality;(2)successful access,delivery,and retrieval of the device delivery system;(3)successful deployment and correct positioning of the frst intended device;and(4)no emergency surgery or reintervention related to the device or access *** secondary outcomes included all-cause mortality,serious adverse events,device success,and procedural success 30 d after the ***:From June 2021 to December 2021,18 patients were enrolled in this study with age(75.7±7.4)*** patients had MR 4+,while 3 had MR 3+.Technical success was achieved in all patients,including 6 degenerative mitral regurgitation and 12 functional mitral regurgitation *** was no all-cause mortality at 30 *** patient had single leaflet device attachment within 30 d,which was regarded as a serious adverse event,and the patient was successfully treated with reintervention by implanting another *** patient's transmitral gradient was 6 mmHg(>5 mmHg),with an effective orifice area of 2.57 cm^(2) after the *** patients had device success and procedural success at 30 d *** patients had MR 1+,3 had MR 2+,and only 1

目的探求使用可穿戴设备获取心音频谱图,观察不同程度二尖瓣反流(MR)患者心音频谱特征在左心室功能监测中的作用。方法入选2020年6月至2021年5月因心血管疾病入住上海交通大学医学院附属瑞金医院的102例MR患者,根据心脏超声MR反流束面积/左心房面积比值超过20%将其分为轻度MR组72例和中度及以上MR组30例。基于心音频谱图对心音持续时间、最大声强、最大心音振幅进行分析,并与心脏超声测定的左心室射血分数(LVEF)进行相关性分析。结果心音频谱图第一心音持续时间与收缩期持续时间比值(S11-S12/S11-S21)与LVEF呈线性负相关(r=-0.535,P<0.01),S11-S12/S11-S21用于判定LVEF降低(LVEF<50%)曲线下面积为0.840(95%CI=0.756~0.924,P<0.01),截断值是55.50%,敏感度78.6%,特异度83.3%。结论心音频谱图提示,MR患者心脏收缩期第一心音持续时间占比与LVEF呈负相关性,在二尖瓣病患的心功能居家监测中存在潜在的应用价值。

Formation of hydrogen in oxidative coupling of methane over BaCO_3 and MgO catalysts

Hydrogen formed in oxidative coupling of methane （OCM） over BaCO3 and MgO catalysts was measured since the data of H2 selectivity were missing almost in all articles published heretofore. It was found that H2 selectivity achieved about 18%, when C2 hydrocarbon＇s selectivity was maintained at 48%-45% over BaCO3 catalyst at the feed molar ratio of CH4/O2 = 4 in temperature range of 780 °C-820 °C. Under similar conditions, H2 selectivity was about 14%-16% over MgO catalyst, with C2 selectivity maintained at 41%-42%. Possible routes for hydrogen formation in OCM reaction were discussed. Effect of addition of alkali metallic ions was also investigated.

Different vertical distribution of zooplankton community between North Pacific Subtropical Gyre and Western Pacific Warm Pool: its implication to carbon flux

The mesozooplankton in both epipelagic and mesopelagic zones is essentially important for the study of ecosystem and biological carbon pump. Previous studies showed that the diel vertical migration (DVM) pattern of mesozooplankton varied among ecosystems. However, that pattern was largely unknown in the Western Pacific Warm Pool (WPWP). The vertical distribution, DVM and community structure of mesozooplankton from the surface to 1 000 m were compared at Stas JL7K (WPWP) and MA (North Pacific Subtropical Gyre, NPSG). Two sites showed similarly low biomass in both epipelagic and mesopelagic zones, which were in accordance with oligotrophic conditions of these two ecosystems. Stronger DVM (night/day ratio) was found at JL7K (1.31) than that at MA (1.09) on surface 0–100 m, and an obvious night increase of mesopelagic biomass was observed at JL7K, which was probably due to migrators from bathypelagic zone. Active carbon flux by DVM of zooplankton was estimated to be 0.23 mmol/(m2·d) at JL7K and 0.16 mmol/(m2·d) at MA. The community structure analysis showed that calanoid copepods, cnidarians and appendicularians were the main contributors to DVM of mesozooplankton at both sites. We also compared the present result with previous studies of the two ecosystems, and suggested that the DVM of mesozooplankton was more homogeneous within the WPWP and more variable within the NPSG, though both ecosystems showed typically extremely oligotrophic conditions. The different diel vertical migration strength of mesozooplankton between NPSG and WPWP implied different efficiency of carbon pump in these two ecosystems.

Localization and characterization of intermittent pollutant source in buildings with ventilation systems:Development and validation of an inverse model

Terrorist attacks through building ventilation systems are becoming an increasing *** case pollutants are intentionally released in a building with mechanical ventilation systems,it is critical to localize the source and characterize its releasing *** inverse modeling studies have adopted the adjoint probability method to identify the source location and used the Tikhonov regularization method to determine the source releasing profile,but the selection of the prediction model and determination of the regularization parameter remain *** limitations can affect the identification accuracy and prolong the computational time *** address the difficulties in solving the inverse problems,this work proposed a Markov-chain-oriented inverse approach to identify the temporal release rate and location of a pollutant source in buildings with ventilation systems and validated it in an experimental *** the modified Markov chain,the source term was discrete by each time step,and the pollutant distribution was directly calculated with no *** forward Markov chain was reversed to characterize the intermittently releasing profile by introducing the Tikhonov regularization method,while the regularized parameter was determined by an automatic iterative discrepancy *** source location was further estimated by adopting the Bayes *** chamber experiments,the effectiveness of the proposed inverse model was validated,and the impact of the sensor performance,quantity and placement,as well as pollutant releasing curves on the identification accuracy of the source intensity was explicitly *** showed that the inverse model can identify the intermittent releasing rate efficiently and promptly,and the identification error for pollutant releasing curves with complex waveforms is about 20%.

Ophiuroid fauna of cobalt-rich crust seamounts in the Northwest Pacific Ocean

Seamounts are vulnerable ecosystems in the deep sea and can be heavily impacted by human activities,such as bottom fishing and deep-sea *** species composition and distribution patterns of benthic fauna is key information for the designation of marine protected areas and environmental management *** contracts for cobalt-rich crust exploration have been granted to China,Japan and Korea in the Northwest Pacific Ocean by the International Seabed ***,our knowledge of benthic biodiversity in this area is extremely *** 2013–2020,eight Chinese Ocean Mineral Resources R&D Association(COMRA)cruises were conducted to investigate the benthic assemblages of nine seamounts in this *** this study,191 ophiuroids collected from seamounts in the Northwest Pacific were identified into 29 species in 11 *** and Euryalidae were the two most dominant families with 12 and 6 species,*** and Ophiopyrgidae were represented by two species each,while seven families were represented by only one *** species were widely distributed among 4–5 seamounts,and 17 species were found only at a single *** integrated regional taxonomic dataset of Ophiuroidea was generated and analyzed.A total of 23 and 14 species were obtained from the Magellan Seamount Chain(MSC)and the Marcus-Wake seamounts(MWS),respectively,with 8 species shared between the two seamount *** individual-based rarefaction curves did not reach an asymptote,suggesting that the sampling effort was inadequate for either the entire region or each single *** species distributed in a narrow depth range,and the species composition was different between water depths above and below 2000 *** results greatly improve the understanding of megafaunal biodiversity from seamounts in the Northwest Pacific Ocean,and highlight the necessity of further surveys to provide more robust information for environmental protection and manageme

The first record of Porcellanaster ceruleus (Echinodermata:Porcellanasteridae) in the South China Sea

Porcellanasteridae is a group of starfish that live in the deep ocean around the world. The type species of this family, Porcellanaster ceruleus Wyville Thomson, 1878, is cosmopolitan as well as polymorphic. The first record of its occurrence in the South China Sea is reported in this paper. One specimen was caught in the South China Sea on June 6, 2015 by trawl and identified to be a P. ceruleus. The morphological characteristics of this specimen are described and detailed pictures are provided. The discovery of this specimen further expands the distribution of P. ceruleus in the Pacific Ocean. The world distribution records of P. ceruleus and its synonymic species are reviewed in this paper.
