Deciphering the role of mtH2O2 in hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury mechanisms with low-background super-resolution fluorogenic probe

Hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury（HIRI） is characterized by mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress. Monitoring mitochondrial hydrogen peroxide（mtH2O2） levels in real-time through super-resolution imaging is crucial for elucidating its distribution in live cells and its mechanism of action during HIRI. However, low-background fluorogenic probes have been overlooked in the context of super-resolution imaging. In this study, we developed a low-background fluorogenic probe（MitoWG） with the potential for super-resolution morphology-correlated mitochondrial identification to track the fluctuates of mtH2O2in HIRI. Activation of the desirable fluorescence properties of the probe by mtH2O2was confirmed using structural illumination microscopy（SIM）, enabling high-quality mitochondrial imaging with exceptional specificity and *** in mtH2O2levels were successfully observed in both cellular and rat models of HIRI. Furthermore, we associated the decline in mitochondrial redox homeostasis with accelerated mtH2O2production during HIRI, which triggered mitophagy deficiency and led to cell death. In conclusion, Mito-WG possesses excellent photophysical and low-background properties for SIM imaging, making it a promising tool for mtH2O2tracking in HIRI research and clinical diagnosis.

Matching soil grid unit resolutions with polygon unit map scales is important to minimize the uncertainty of regional soil organic carbon(SOC) pool simulation due to their strong influences on the modeling.A series of soil grid units at varying cell sizes was derived from soil polygon units at six map scales,namely,1:50 000(C5),1:200 000(D2),1:500 000(P5),1:1 000 000(N1),1:4 000 000(N4) and 1:14 000 000(N14),in the Taihu Region of *** soil unit formats were used for regional SOC pool simulation with a De Nitrification-DeC omposition(DNDC) process-based model,which spans the time period from 1982 to 2000 at the six map *** indices,namely,soil type number(STN),area(AREA),average SOC density(ASOCD) and total SOC stocks(SOCS) of surface paddy soils that were simulated by the DNDC,were distinguished from all these soil polygon and grid *** to the four index values(IV) from the parent polygon units,the variations in an index value(VIV,%) from the grid units were used to assess its dataset accuracy and redundancy,which reflects the uncertainty in the simulation of SOC *** soil grid unit resolutions were generated and suggested for the DNDC simulation of regional SOC pools,matching their respective soil polygon unit map *** these optimal raster resolutions,the soil grid units datasets can have the same accuracy as their parent polygon units datasets without any redundancy,when VIV < 1% was assumed to be a criterion for all four indices.A quadratic curve regression model,namely,y = – 0.80 × 10^(–6)x^2 + 0.0228 x + 0.0211(R^2 = 0.9994,P < 0.05),and a power function model R? = 10.394?^(0.2153)(R^2 = 0.9759,P < 0.05) were revealed,which describe the relationship between the optimal soil grid unit resolution(y,km) and soil polygon unit map scale(1:10 000x),the ratio(R?,%) of the optimal soil grid size to average polygon patch size(?,km^2) and the ?,with the highest R^2 among different mathematical regressions,*** knowle

In view of the occurrence of the coal and gas, outburst coal body separates in series of layer form, and tosses in a series of coal shell, and the morphological characteristics of the holes that formed in the coal layers are very similar to some iterative morphological characteristics of the system state under highly nonlinear condition in chaos theory. Two kinds of morphology as well as their starting and end states are comparatively studied in this paper. The research results indicate that the outburst coal and rock system is in a chaotic state of lower nested hierarchy before outburst, and the process that lots of holes form owing to continuous outburst of a series of coal shells in a short time is in a rhythmical fast iterative stage of intermittent chaos state. And the state of the coal-gas system is in a stable equilibrium state after outburst. The behaviors of outburst occurrence, development and termination, based on the universal properties of various nonlinear mappings in describing complex problems, can be described by iterative operation in mathematics which uses the Logistic function f (x,μ)=μx(1-x) and the composite function F(3, x) = f(3)(x, μ) as kernel function. The primary equation of relative hole depth x and outburst parameter l in kernel function are given in this paper. The given results can deepen and enrich the understanding of physical essence of outburst.

This study presents the mass concentrations of PM（2.5）,O3,SO2 and NOxat one urban,one suburban and two rural locations in the Changchun region from September 25 to October 272013. Major chemical components of PM（2.5）at the four sites were daily sampled and analyzed. Most of daily concentrations of SO2（7–82 μg/m^3）,O3（27–171 μg/m^3） and NOx（14–213 μg/m^3） were below the limits of the National Ambient Air Quality Standard（NAAQS）in China. However,PM（2.5）concentrations（143–168 μg/m^3） were 2-fold higher than *** PM（2.5）concentrations（~ 150 μg/m^3） were measured during the pre-harvest and harvest at the urban site,while PM（2.5）concentrations significantly increased from 250 to400 μg m^（-3） at suburban and rural sites with widespread biomass burning. At all sites,PM（2.5）components were dominated by organic carbon（OC） and followed by soluble component sulfate（SO4^（2-））,ammonium（NH4~＋） and nitrate（NO3^-）. Compared with rural sites,urban site had a higher mineral contribution and lower potassium（K~＋and K） contribution to PM（2.5）.Severe atmospheric haze events that occurred from October 21 to 23 were attributed to strong source emissions（e.g.,biomass burning） and unfavorable air diffusion ***,coal burning originating from winter heating supply beginning on October 18 increased the atmospheric pollutant emissions. For entire crop harvest period,the Positive Matrix Factorization（PMF） analysis indicated five important emission contributors in the Changchun region,as follows： secondary aerosol（39%）,biomass burning（20%）,supply heating（18%）,soil/road dust（14%） and traffic（9%）.

Grain boundaries modulating active sites in RhCo porous nanospheres for efficient CO2 hydrogenation

Designing active sites and engineering electronic properties of heterogeneous catalysts are both promising strategies that can be employed to enhance the catalytic activity for CO2 hydrogenation. Herein, we report RhCo porous nanospheres with a high density of accessible grain boundaries as active sites for improved catalytic performance in the hydrogenation of CO2 to methanol. The porous nanosphere morphological feature allows for a high population of grain boundaries to be accessible to the reactants, thereby providing sufficient active sites for the catalytic reaction. Moreover, in-situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscope （XPS） results revealed the creation of negatively charged Rh surface atoms that promoted the activation of CO2 to generate CO2^6- and methoxy intermediates. The obtained RhCo porous nanospheres exhibited remarkable low-temperature catalytic activity with a turnover frequency （TOFRh） of 612 h^-1, which was 6.1 and 2.5 times higher than that of Rh/C and RhCo nanoparticles, respectively. This work not only develops an efficient catalyst for CO2 hydrogenation, but also demonstrates a potential approach for the modulation of active sites and electronic properties.
