BACKGROUND Cancer is one of the most serious threats to human health *** treatments such as surgery and chemotherapy are associated with some *** recent years,traditional Chinese medicine treatment has been increasingly advocated by patients and attracted attention from clinicians,and has become an indispensable part of the comprehensive treatment for gastric *** To investigate the mechanism of Xiaojianzhong decoction(XJZ)in the treatment of gastric cancer(GC)by utilizing network pharmacology and experimental validation,so as to provide a theoretical basis for later experimental *** We analyzed the mechanism and targets of XJZ in the treatment of GC through network pharmacology and ***,we verified the impact of XJZ treatment on the proliferative ability of GC cells through CCK-8,apoptosis,cell cycle,and clone formation ***,we performed Western blot analysis and real-time quantitative PCR to assess the protein and mRNA expression of the core *** XJZ mainly regulates IL6,PTGS2,CCL2,MMP9,MMP2,HMOX1,and other target genes and pathways in cancer to treat *** inhibition of cell viability,the increase of apoptosis,the blockage of the cell cycle at the G0/G1 phase,and the inhibition of the ability of cell clone formation were observed in AGS and HGC-27 cells after XJZ *** addition,XJZ induced a decrease in the mRNA expression of IL6,PTGS2,MMP9,MMP2,and CCL2,and an increase in the mRNA expression of *** significantly inhibited the expression of IL6,PTGS2,MMP9,MMP2,and CCL2 proteins and promoted the expression of the heme oxygenase-1 *** XJZ exerts therapeutic effects against GC through multiple components,multiple targets,and multiple *** findings provide a new idea and scientific basis for further research on the molecular mechanisms underlying the therapeutic effects of XJZ in the treatment of GC.

The production ofγ-valerolactone(GVL)from biomass derivatives levulinic acid(LA)based on acidbase metallic catalysts offers a sustainable pathway to the synthesis of valuable chemicals and ***,the development of efficient metallic catalysts with tunable Lewis acid–base and Brønsted acid sites remains a ***,for the first time,we integrated zeolite and layered double hydroxide(LDH),in a core–shell structure,wherein zeolite and CoFe-LDH provided the Brønsted acidic sites and Lewis acid sites,***,oxygen vacancies(OV_(x))acting as Lewis bases were generated on the surface of LDH via Ga *** efficient cascade catalytic reaction from LA to GVL was successfully achieved over the designed Beta@LDH-OVx catalyst,affording a superior conversion of LA(>99.9%)and an impressive selectivity to GVL(89.18%).Importantly,the“memory effect”of LDH endowed the catalyst with excellent regeneration of metal active *** functional theory calculations revealed that the introduced OVx facilitated the adsorption of carbonyl oxygen in LA and boosted the production of GVL through the synergistic effect of acid/base sites in the composite *** work presents a rational design route for the construction of multifunctional catalysts by coupling zeolites and LDHs for highly selective catalytic conversion of biomass.

Polycystic ovarian syndrome （PCOS） is the most principal reason for infertility in reproductive women， but no versatile treatment is feasible. Although trans-10-Hydroxy-2-decenoic acid （10H2DA） exhibits the anti-inflammatory， anti-cancerous and immunomodulatory properties， its role in improving PCOS remains elusive. This present study examined the effects of 10H2DA on the estrous cycle， ovarian morphology， reproductive hormone， glucose and insulin tolerances of PCOS mice， analyzed the binding between 10H2DA and free fatty acid receptor 4 （FFAR4）， and explored the regulation of 10H2DA on the c-Jun N-terminal kinase （JNK）/JUN （Jun proto-oncogene） signaling， cytosolic calcium ion (Ca2+)， endoplasmic reticulum （ER） Ca2+release， mitochondrial Ca2+， mitochondrial function， autophagy， lysosomal acidification， mitochondrial fission， secretion function and apoptosis of ovarian granulosa cells （GCs） using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay， flow cytometry. western blotting， molecular docking， various fluorescent probes or plasmid， etc. The results found that 10H2DA alleviated the symptom of PCOS mice through improving the secretion dysfunction of GCs and protecting GCs against apoptosis. After binding to FFAR4 and inactivation of JNK/JUN signaling， 10H2DA restricted the release of ER Ca2+through targeting ryanodine receptors （RYRs） which had been identified as the downstream targets of JUN， diminished cytosolic Ca2+accumulation and prevented Ca2+influx into mitochondria via adjusting the mitochondrial calcium uptake 1 （MICU1） and mitochondrial calcium uniporter （MCU）. Concurrently， 10H2DA kept the integrity of mitochondrial function through maintaining mitochondrial Ca2+homeostasis and suppressed the discharge of mitochondrial reactive oxygen species （mtROS） into the cytosol through blocking the mitochondrial permeability transition pore opening to avoid the lipid peroxidation and ameliorate the secretory function and apoptosis of GCs. Quartz vein-type tungsten deposits are a common W deposit type. Their ore vein distribution was previously considered to be controlled by regional horizontal tectonic stress. In this paper， 14 tungsten deposits with fan-shaped mineralization in SE China are summarized， and the relations between their ore veins and granite and the ore-forming structural stress field are analyzed. These deposits have a post-magmatic hydrothermal genesis and involve the formation of two sets of veins with similar strike and opposite dips at the top of the ore-causative granite bodies， forming a vertical fan-shaped profile. Their ore veins were coeval with the underlying granite bodies， and generally extend along the long axis of the granite. In such fan-shaped ore formation， the stress is highly focused at the top of the granite and gradually weakens outward. The maximum principal stress (σ1) is perpendicular to the granite contact surface， and radiates outward from the pluton. Meanwhile， the minimum principal stress (σ3) forms an arc-shaped band parallel to the contact surface. Our findings， together with published numerical modeling indicate that the emplacement dynamics of granitic magma (rather than regional horizontal tectonic stress) are essential controls on the distribution of ore veins in quartz vein-type tungsten deposits.
