Advanced detection using the direct current (DC) method in underground coal mines is a primary technique for identifying water-bearing structures ahead of the driving face. Traditionally, a three-pole advanced detection device, based on spherical shell theory, has been widely utilized in field applications. However, recent concerns have been raised by scholars regarding the accuracy and resolution of this device. Moreover, the necessity of using infinite electrodes in underground settings results in low construction efficiency and high costs. To address these issues, this paper proposes a dipole-dipole advanced detection device. We assess the device's detection capabilities through a combination of theoretical research, numerical simulations, and analysis of measured data. Initially, we establish a full-space geoelectric model to simulate the electric field distribution characteristics of a DC dipole source, demonstrating the method's reliability and feasibility for advanced DC detection. We then compare and analyze the detection effects and response characteristics to low-resistance anomalous bodies of both pole-dipole and dipole-dipole devices using uniform and varied full-space geoelectric models. Finally, field tests provided valuable insights into the electrical response characteristics at the front of the excavation tunnel. Using the transient electromagnetic advance detection method for comparative analysis, we identified a low-resistance anomaly located between 5 to 45 meters ahead. This anomaly was subsequently confirmed through drilling. The study concludes that the mine's dipole-dipole DC method effectively identifies low-resistance anomalies in front of the driving head. This method not only offers high detection accuracy and construction efficiency but also saves significant manpower and material resources, highlighting its theoretical significance and practical application value. © 2025 China Coal Society. This paper provides a comprehensive study of the polarization transition of reflected C-point singularities. The reflection of star-and lemon-type C-point paraxial vector beams at an air-dielectric interface is investigated. For small oblique incidences, a topological phase transition is observed exclusively in spin-maintained modes, manifesting as a shift from a vortex phase to a spin phase. Notably, as the incident angle ranges from 0 to 90 degrees, another topological phase transition occurs, the total spin components of the reflected field undergoing an interchange of topological charges(TCs), resulting in a type transition of the C-point from the star(lemon)-type to the lemon(star)-type. Furthermore, the concurrence of the C-point beam throughout the reflection process can be modulated by the incident angle, spanning almost the entire spectrum from 0 to 1. The longitudinal and transverse displacements of each spin component as well as the overall beam shifts of the reflected beam are further analyzed, revealing their dependence on the incident beam's TC combination. These findings offer novel physical insights into polarization singularity-matter interactions, holding promise for advancing research in singular optics and its applications.

In order to study the effect of different gap ratios on the thermofluid-dynamic field around a bluff body located in proximity to a heated wall,a series of experiments and numerical simulations have been *** former were carried out using an open circulating water tank experimental platform and a single cylinder and square column as geometrical models(their characteristic length being D).The latter were based on the well-known SIMPLE algorithm for incompressible *** results show that the gap ratio is an important factor affecting the wake characteristics of near-wall bluff *** the gap ratio is small,the influence of the wall on the bluff body wake is *** an increase in the gap extension,periodic vortex shedding is enabled and heat transfer is strengthened accordingly;in addition,the vortex shedding period is larger for the square *** square column displays hysteresis compared with the cylinder at the same gap ratio(the critical gap ratio of cylinder is 0.2~0.4,while that of square column is 0.40.6).

BACKGROUND Mild cognitive impairment(MCI)has a high risk of progression to Alzheimer’s *** disease is often accompanied by sleep disorders,and whether sleep disorders have an effect on brain function in patients with MCI is *** To explore the near-infrared brain function characteristics of MCI with sleep *** A total of 120 patients with MCI(MCI group)and 50 healthy subjects(control group)were *** subjects underwent the functional near-infrared spec-troscopy *** baseline data,Mini-Mental State Examination,Montreal Cognitive Assessment scale,fatigue severity scale(FSS)score,sleep parameter,and oxyhemoglobin(Oxy-Hb)concentration and peak time of functional near-infrared spectroscopy test during the task *** relationship between Oxy-RESULTS Compared with the control group,the FSS score of the MCI group was higher(t=11.310),and the scores of Pittsburgh sleep quality index,sleep time,sleep efficiency,nocturnal sleep disturbance,and daytime dysfunction were higher(Z=-10.518,-10.368,-9.035,-10.661,-10.088).Subjective sleep quality and total sleep time scores were lower(Z=-11.592,-9.924).The sleep efficiency of the MCI group was lower,and the awakening frequency,rem sleep latency period,total sleep time,and oxygen desaturation index were higher(t=5.969,5.829,2.887,3.003,5.937).The Oxy-Hb concentration at T0,T1,and T2 in the MCI group was lower(t=14.940,11.280,5.721),and the peak time was higher(t=18.800,13.350,9.827).In MCI patients,the concentration of Oxy-Hb during T0 was negatively correlated with the scores of Pittsburgh sleep quality index,sleep time,total sleep time,and sleep efficiency(r=-0.611,-0.388,-0.563,-0.356).It was positively correlated with sleep efficiency and total sleep time(r=0.754,0.650),and negatively correlated with oxygen desaturation index(r=-0.561)and FSS score(r=-0.526).All comparisons were P<*** Patients with MCI and sleep disorders have lower near-infrared brain function than norm

Type Synthesis of Walking Robot Legs

Walking robots use leg structures to overcome obstacles or move on complicated terrains. Most robots of current researches are equipped with legs of simple structure. The specific design method of walking robot legs is seldom studied. Based on the generalized-function(GF) set theory, a systematic type synthesis process of designing robot legs is introduced. The specific mobility of robot legs is analyzed to obtain two main leg types as the goal of *** synthesis problem is decomposed into two stages, actuation and constraint synthesis by name,corresponding to the combinatorics results of linear Diophantine equations. Additional restrictions are discussed to narrow the search range to propose practical limb expressions and kinematic-pair designs. Finally, all the fifty-one leg structures of four subtypes are carried out, some of which are chosen to make up robot prototypes, demonstrating the validity of the method. This paper proposed a novel type synthesis methodology, which could be used to systematically design various practical robot legs and the derived robots.

The implementation of long-term shelterbelt programs in the middle reaches of the Yellow River(MRYR),China not only has improved the overall ecological environment,but also has led to the changes of land use pattern,causing carbon storage ***,the relationship between carbon storage and land use change in the MRYR is not concerned,which results in the uncertainty in the simulation of carbon storage in this *** use changes directly affect the carbon storage capacity of ecosystems,and as an indicator reflecting the overall state of land use,land use degree has an important relationship with carbon *** this study,land use data and the integrated valuation of ecosystem services and trade-offs(InVEST)model were used to assess the trends in land use degree and carbon storage in the MRYR during *** potential impact index and the standard deviation ellipse(SDE)algorithm were applied to quantify and analyze the characteristics of the impact of land use changes on carbon ***,land use transitions that led to carbon storage variations and their spatial variations were *** results showed that:(1)the most significant periods of carbon storage changes and land use transitions were observed during 1990-1995 and 1995-2020,with the most changed areas locating in the east of Fenhe River and in northwestern Henan Province;(2)the positive impact of land use degree on carbon storage may be related to the environmental protection measures implemented along the Yellow River,while the negative impact may be associated with the expansion of construction land in plain areas;and(3)the conversion of other land use types to grassland was the primary factor affecting carbon storage changes during *** future land use planning,attention should be given to the direction of grassland conversion,and focus on reasonably limiting the development of construction *** enhance carbon storage,it will be crucial to increase the area
