This paper presents CirroData,a high-performance SQL-on-Hadoop system designed for Big Data analytics *** a home-grown enterprise-level online analytical processing(OLAP)system with more than seven-year research and development(R&D)experiences,we share our design details to the community about how to achieve high performance in *** optimization techniques have been discussed in the *** effectiveness and the efficiency of all these techniques have been proved by our customers'daily ***-level studies,as well as several real application case studies of CirroData,have been presented in this *** evaluations show that CirroData can outperform various types of counterpart database systems in the community,such as"Spark+Hive","Spark+HBase",Impala,DB-X/Y,Greenplum,HAWQ,and *** can achieve up to 4.99x speedup compared with Greenplum,HAWQ,and Spark in the standard TPC-H ***-level evaluations demonstrate that CirroData outperforms"Spark+Hive"and"Spark+HBase"by up to 8.4x and 38.8x,*** the meantime,CirroData achieves the performance speedups for some application workloads by up to 20x,100x,182.5x,92.6x,and 55.5x as compared with Greenplum,DB-X,Impala,DB-Y,and HAWQ,respectively.

Study of “3-Step Mining” Subsidence Control in Coal Mining Under Buildings

Mining subsidence damage is the main factor of restricting coal mining under buildings. To control or ease effectively the degree of mining subsidence and deformation is essential to resolve this problem. Through analyzing both advantages and disadvantages of some technologies such as mining with stowing, partial extraction and grouting in separated beds of overburden, we used the principle of load replacement and propose a “3-step mining” method, a new pattern of controlling mining subsidence, which consists of： strip mining, i.e. grouting to fill and consolidate the caving zone and retained strip pillar mining. The mechanism of controlling mining subsidence by using the “3-step mining” pattern is analyzed. The effect of the control is numerically simulated. The preliminary analysis shows that the “3-step mining” can effectively control ground subsidence and deformation. By using this method, the ground subsidence factor can be controlled to a value of about 0.25. Coal recovery can reach 80%-90%. Coal mining without removing surface buildins can be realized and the economic loss resultin from round subsidence can be greatly reduced.

桥梁结构理想的几何线形与合理的内力状态不仅与设计有关,而且还依赖于科学合理的施工方法。如何通过施工时的浇筑过程的控制以及结构标高调整来获得预先设计的应力状态和几何线形,是大跨桥梁施工中非常关键的问题。因此,在对大跨度预应力混凝土桥梁施工过程中,为了保障其施工质量及安全性,应采取必要的监控技术对其进行检测。本文以实际工程为例,对监控技术进行总结,为类似大跨度预应力混凝土桥梁施工监控提供借鉴作用。

The rapid deployment of solar and wind technology produces significant amount of low-quality electricity that calls for a better storage or usage instead of being discarded by the *** of electrochemical CO2 reduction and/or NH3 production,here we propose that non-thermal plasma oxidation of N2 into nitrate or other valuable nitrogen containing compounds deserve more research attention because it uses free air as the reactant and avoids the solubility difficulty,and also because its energy consumption is merely 0.2 MJ/mol,even lower than the industrially very successful Haber-Bosch process（0.48 MJ/mol）for NH3 *** advocate that researchers from the plasma community and chemistry community should work together to build energy efficient non-thermal plasma setup,identify robust,active and low-cost catalyst,and understand the catalyzing mechanism in a plasma *** are confident that free production of nitrate with zero C02 emission will come true in the near future.

Surgical complications after the transthoracic operation for esophageal cancer mainly include anastomatic fistula, gastric wound thoraco-stomach fistula, stenosis of anastomosis, perforation, gastric volvulus, diaphragmatic hernia, infection, and some other pulmonary complications. Unfortunately, there are few reports about the complications caused by position change of the chest tube until now. We presented an unusual case of a patient who underwent a transthoracic operation for esophageal cancer in our department on August 17, 2006, and a lot of intragastric material was found in his chest tube 17 days later, endoscopic examination suggested that the chest tube had inserted into the stomach. We tried to discuss the etiology and clinical management for this case as well.

目的研究图底分离一般性原理,挖掘邮轮舱室设计的存在图底关系的特征规律,为邮轮舱室设计予以图底关系的再认识。方法通过视觉上的图底原理,分析现役邮轮舱室视觉中存在的图底关系。再以格式塔心理学的角度理解其图底分离的条件,借以总结出舱室图底关系的种种规律,每条规律对应现有的具体案例再分析。再以得出的现有规律,以图底关系的原理对公认的问题舱室进行视觉设计改造。验证其设计方法的有效性,同时为邮轮舱室的设计提出另一种可靠方式。结论邮轮舱室中存在独特的视觉设计原则,以图底关系的心理学原理为主要设计方法,可有效实现游客在舱室视觉中的心理需要。在现有的案例中总结一系列舱室中的图底规律,为邮轮舱室设计予以更清晰的线索。
