In addition to the plasmon-mediated resonant coupling mechanism,the excitation of hot electron induced by plasmon presents a promising path for developing high-performance optoelectronic devices tailored for various *** study introduces a sophisticated design for a solar-blind ultraviolet(UV)detector array using linear In-doped Ga_(2)O_(3) (InGaO)modulated by platinum(Pt)nanoparticles(PtNPs).The construction of this array involves depositing a thin film of Ga_(2)O_(3) through the plasmonenhanced chemical vapor deposition(PECVD)***,PtNPs were synthesized via radio-frequency magnetron sputtering and annealing *** performance of these highly uniform arrays is significantly enhanced owing to the generation of high-energy hot *** process is facilitated by non-radiative decay processes induced by ***,the array achieves maximum responsivity(R)of 353 mA/W,external quantum efficiency(EQE)of 173%,detectivity(D*)of approximately 10~(13)Jones,and photoconductive gain of *** addition,the standard deviation for photocurrent stays below17%for more than 80%of the array units within the ***,the application of this array extends to photon detection in the deep-UV(DUV)*** includes critical areas such as imaging sensing and water quality *** leveraging surface plasmon coupling,the array achieves high-performance DUV photon *** approach enables a broad spectrum of practical applications,underscoring the significant potential of this technology for the advancement of DUV detectors.

A hybrid machine learning optimization algorithm for multivariable pore pressure prediction

Background Hematoma expansion is a determinant of poor outcome of intracerebral hemorrhage but occurs frequently,especially in warfarin-associated intracerebral hemorrhage(W-ICH).In the present study,we employ the warfarin-associated intracerebral hemorrhage(W-ICH)rat model,to explore the efficacy and potential mechanism of glibenclamide pretreatment on hematoma expansion after intracerebral hemorrhage,hoping to provide proof of concept that glibenclamide in stroke primary and secondary prevention is also potentially beneficial for intracerebral hemorrhage patients at early *** In the present study,we tested whether glibenclamide,a common hypoglycemic drug,could attenuate hematoma expansion in a rat model of *** expansion was evaluated using magnetic resonance imaging;brain injury was evaluated by brain edema and neuronal death;and functional outcome was evaluated by neurological *** blood-brain barrier integrity was assessed using Evans blue extravasation and tight junction-related *** The data indicated that glibenclamide pretreatment significantly attenuated hematoma expansion at 24 h after W-ICH,thus mitigating brain edema and neuronal death and promoting neurological function recovery,which may benefit from alleviating blood-brain barrier disruption by suppressing matrix *** The results indicate that glibenclamide pretreatment in stroke primary and secondary prevention might be a promising therapy for hematoma expansion at the early stage of W-ICH.

Physicochemical principles of hydrogen metallurgy in blast furnace

Based on the stoichiometric method and the free energy minimization method,an ideal model for the reduction of iron oxides by carbon and hydrogen under blast furnace conditions was established,and the reduction efficiency and theoretical energy consumption of the all-carbon blast furnace and the hydrogen-rich blast furnace were *** results show that after the reduction reaction is completed at the bottom of the blast furnace,the gas produced by reduction at 1600℃still has a certain excessive reduction capacity,which is due to the hydrogen brought in by the hydrogen-rich blast as well as the excess carbon monoxide generated by the reaction of the coke and the oxygen brought in by the *** the process of the gas with excessive reduction capacity rising from the bottom of the blast furnace and gas reduction process,the excessive reduction capacity of the gas gradually decreases with the increase in the dydrogen content in the *** the all-carbon blast furnace,the excess gas reduction capacity is the strongest,and the total energy consumption per ton of iron reduction is the *** shows that,for the current operation mode of the blast furnace,adding hydrogen in the blast furnace cannot reduce the consumption of carbon required for reduction per ton of iron,but rather increases the consumption of carbon.

Control Strategies for Digital Twin Systems

With the continuous breakthrough in information technology and its integration into practical applications, industrial digital twins are expected to accelerate their development in the near future. This paper studies various control strategies for digital twin systems from the viewpoint of practical *** make full use of advantages of digital twins for control systems, an architecture of digital twin control systems, adaptive model tracking scheme, performance prediction scheme, performance retention scheme, and fault tolerant control scheme are proposed. Those schemes are detailed to deal with different issues on model tracking, performance prediction, performance retention, and fault tolerant control of digital twin systems. Also, the stability of digital twin control systems is analysed. The proposed schemes for digital twin control systems are illustrated by examples.

Evaluation of microRNA expression profiles in human sperm frozen using permeable cryoprotectant-free droplet vitrification and conventional methods

For sperm cryopreservation,the conventional method,which requires glycerol,has been used for a long *** addition,the permeable cryoprotectant-free vitrification method has been continuously *** the differences of cryopreservation effects between the two methods have being studied,differences in microRNA(miRNA)profiles between them remain *** this study,we investigated the differences in miRNA expression profiles among conventional freezing sperm,droplet vitrification freezing sperm and fresh human *** also analyzed the differences between these methods in terms of differentially expressed miRNAs(DEmiRs)related to early embryonic development and paternal *** results showed no significant differences between the cryopreservation methods in terms of sperm motility ratio,plasma membrane integrity,DNA integrity,mitochondrial membrane potential,acrosome integrity,and ultrastructural ***,sperm miRNA-sequencing showed differences between the two methods in terms of the numbers of DEmiRs(28 and 19 with vitrification using a nonpermeable cryoprotectant and the conventional method,respectively)in postthaw and fresh sperm *** related to early embryonic development and paternal epigenetics mainly included common DEmiRs between the *** results showed that the differences between conventional freezing and droplet vitrification were minimal in terms of miRNA expression related to embryonic development and *** in sperm miRNA expression due to freezing are not always detrimental to embryonic *** study compared differences in miRNA expression profiles before and after cryopreservation between cryopreservation by conventional and vitrification *** offers a new perspective to evaluate various methods of sperm cryopreservation.

The development of effective and sustainable solutions for pleiotropic water purification becomes urgent and *** Fenton-like catalysts for activation of peroxymonosulfate(PMS)to purify organic wastewater show great *** this work,by tuning metal loading with an in-situ polydopamine coating strategy,oxygen vacancy-enriched Co_(3)O_(4) loading on N-doped carbon nanotubes(CNTs)were constructed to enhance PMS activation efficiency for pollutants ***,the obtained modified CNTs afford a well-developed N-containing network structure,which is further endowed with abundant Co(Ⅱ)/Co(Ⅲ)redox cycles and significant metal-carbon *** particular,the surface N doping in CNTs might induce the oriented enrichment of pollutants around the catalyst,which reduces the migration distance and correspondingly improves the utilization of reactive oxidative *** electron transfer efficiency of the catalyst can be further improved by incorporating oxygen vacancy-enriched Co_(3)O_(4).The performance results show that the optimal NC/Co-1 could mineralize 20×10^(-6)of bisphenol A(BPA)by almost 98%in 8 min.A low reaction activation energy(26.05 kJ·mol^(-1))in BPA degradation was demonstrated by the NC/*** importantly,NC/Co-1 can inherit excellent degradation performance towards oxytetracycline,2,4-dichlorophenol,and tetracycline,showing wide practical *** addition,by virtue of the photothermal conversion property,NC/Co-1 achieves an additive function for interfacial solar water evaporation(1.84 kg·m^(-2)·h^(-1),112.51%),showing impressive potential for clean water recovery under complicated environmental pollution conditions.

Enhanced Cooling Efficiency of Urban Trees on Hotter Summer Days in 70 Cities of China

Increasing the urban tree cover percentage(TCP) is widely recognized as an efficient way to mitigate the urban heat island effect. The cooling efficiency of urban trees can be either enhanced or attenuated on hotter days, depending on the physiological response of urban trees to rising ambient temperature. However, the response of urban trees' cooling efficiency to rising urban temperature remains poorly quantified for China's cities. In this study, we quantify the response of urban trees' cooling efficiency to rising urban temperature at noontime [～1330 LT(local time), LT=UTC+8] in 17summers(June, July, and August) from 2003–19 in 70 economically developed cities of China based on satellite observations. The results show that urban trees have stronger cooling efficiency with increasing temperature, suggesting additional cooling benefits provided by urban trees on hotter days. The enhanced cooling efficiency values of urban trees range from 0.002 to 0.055°C %-1 per 1°C increase in temperature across the selected cities, with larger values for the lowTCP-level cities. The response is also regulated by background temperature and precipitation, as the additional cooling benefit tends to be larger in warmer and wetter cities at the same TCP level. The positive response of urban trees' cooling efficiency to rising urban temperature is explained mainly by the stronger evapotranspiration of urban trees on hotter *** results have important implications for alleviating urban heat risk by utilizing urban trees, particularly considering that extreme hot days are becoming more frequent in cities under global warming.

Targeting oncogenic mutant p53 represents an attractive strategy for cancer treatment due to the high frequency of gain-of-function mutations and ectopic expression in various cancer *** extensive efforts,the absence of a druggable active site for small molecules has rendered these mutants therapeutically *** we develop a selective and effective proteolysis-targeting chimera(PROTAC)for p53-R175H,a common hotspot mutant with dominant-negative and oncogenic *** a novel iterative molecular docking-guided post-SELEX(systematic evolution of ligands by exponential enrichment)approach,we rationally engineer a high-performance DNA aptamer with improved affinity and specificity for *** this resulting aptamer as a binder for PROTACs,we successfully developed a selective p53-R175H degrader,named ***53m induces the ubiquitin–protea some-dependent degradation of p53-R175H while sparing wildtype ***,dp53m demonstrates significant antitumor efficacy in p53-R175H-driven cancer cells both in vitro and in vivo,without ***,dp53m significantly and synergistically improves the sensitivity of these cells to cisplatin,a commonly used chemotherapy *** findings provide evidence of the potential therapeutic value of dp53m in p53-R175H-driven cancers.
