Atmospheric particulatematter(PM)exacerbates the risk factor for Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases(PD)by promoting the alpha-synuclein(α-syn)pathology in the ***,the molecular mechanisms of astrocytes involvement inα-syn pathology underlying the process remain *** study investigated PM with particle size<200 nm(PM_(0.2))exposure-inducedα-syn pathology in ICR mice and primary astrocytes,then assessed the effects of mammalian target of rapamycin inhibitor(PP242)in vitro *** observed theα-syn pathology in the brains of exposed ***,PM_(0.2)-exposed mice also exhibited the activation of glial cell and the inhibition of *** vitro study,PM_(0.2)(3,10 and 30μg/mL)induced inflammatory response and the disorders ofα-syn degradation in primary astrocytes,and lysosomal-associated membrane protein 2(LAMP2)-mediated autophagy underliesα-syn *** abnormal function of autophagy-lysosome was specifically manifested as the expression of microtubule-associated protein light chain 3(LC3II),cathepsin B(CTSB)and lysosomal abundance increased first and then decreased,which might both be a compensatory mechanism to toxicα-syn accumulation induced by PM_(0.2).Moreover,with the transcription factor EB(TFEB)subcellular localization and the increase in LC3II,LAMP2,CTSB,and cathepsin D proteins were identified,leading to the restoration of the degradation ofα-syn after the intervention of *** results identified that PM_(0.2)exposure could promote theα-syn pathological dysregulation in astrocytes,providing mechanistic insights into how PM_(0.2)increases the risk of developing PD and highlighting TFEB/LAMP2 as a promising therapeutic target for antagonizing PM_(0.2)toxicity.

Agronomic measures are the key to promote the sustainable development of ratoon rice by reducing the damage from mechanical crushing to the residual stubble of the main crop, thereby mitigating the impact on axillary bud sprouting and yield formation in ratoon rice. This study used widely recommended conventional rice Jiafuzhan and hybrid rice Yongyou 2640 as the test materials to conduct a four-factor block design field experiment in a greenhouse of the experimental farm of Fujian Agricultural and Forestry University, China from 2018 to *** treatments included fertilization and no fertilization, alternate wetting and drying irrigation and continuous water flooding irrigation, and plots with and without artificial crushing damage on the rice stubble. At the same time, a 13C stable isotope in-situ detection technology was used to fertilize the pot experiment. The results showed significant interactions among varieties, water management, nitrogen application and stubble *** to the long-term water flooding treatment, the treatment with sequential application of nitrogen fertilizer coupled with moderate field drought for root-vigor and tiller promotion before and after harvesting of the main crop, significantly improved the effective tillers from low position nodes. This in turn increased the effective panicles per plant and grains per panicle by reducing the influence of artificial crushing damage on rice stubble and achieving a high yield of the regenerated rice. Furthermore, the partitioning of 13C assimilates to the residual stubble and its axillary buds were significantly improved at the mature stage of the main crop, while the translocation rate to roots and rhizosphere soil was reduced at the later growth stage of ratooning season rice. This was triggered by the metabolism of hormones and polyamines at the stem base regulated by the interaction of water and fertilizer at this time. Aiming at improving the properties of magnesia carbon materials,silicon aluminum carbide(Al_(4)SiC_(4))containing materials were prepared using industrial aluminum powder,silicon carbide powder,and graphite as raw materials,and activated alumina powder as an additive,mixing thoroughly,pressing into cylinders and then firing at 1200℃for 30 min in a carbon embedded atmosphere by the microwave *** effects of the aluminum powder addition(20%and 24%,by mass)and activated alumina powder addition(0,3%,5%and 7%,by mass)on the microwave synthesis of Al_(4)SiC_(4) as well as the effect of the obtained Al_(4)SiC_(4) containing material on the properties of magnesia carbon bricks were *** results show that:compared with the samples with 20%aluminum powder,those with 24%aluminum powder generate more Al_(4)SiC_(4).With the activated alumina powder addition increasing from 0 to 7%,the amount of Al_(4)SiC_(4) generated increases first and then *** with the sample without activated alumina powder,the samples with activated alumina powder show lower bulk density and higher apparent *** the activated alumina powder addition increasing from 3%to 7%,the bulk density of the samples increases first and then decreases,while the apparent porosity of the samples shows an opposite *** optimal additions are 24%aluminum powder and 5%activated alumina powder,and Al_(4)SiC_(4) synthesized in this sample has a hexagonal plate *** the synthesized Al_(4)SiC_(4) containing material added,the magnesia carbon brick has slightly increased cold modulus of rupture,basically the same modulus of elasticity and improved oxidation resistance.

Premature ovarian insufficiency(POI)is a heterogeneous female disorder characterized by the loss of ovarian function before the age of *** represents a significant detriment to female ***,the known POI-causative genes currently account for only a fraction of *** elucidate the genetic factors underlying POI,we conducted whole-exome sequencing on a family with three fertile POI patients and identified a deleterious missense variant in *** a subsequent replication study involving 1,030 POI patients,this variant was not only confirmed but also accompanied by the discovery of three additional predicted deleterious RNF111 *** variants collectively account for eight cases,representing 0.78%of the study cohort.A further study involving 500 patients with diminished ovarian reserve also identified two additional RNF111 ***,RNF111 encodes an E3 ubiquitin ligase with a regulatory role in the TGF-β/BMP signaling *** analysis revealed that RNF111/RNF111 is predominantly expressed in the oocytes of mice,monkeys,and *** further investigate the functional implications of RNF111 variants,we generated two mouse models:one with a heterozygous missense mutation(Rnf111+/M)and another with a heterozygous null mutation(Rnf111^(+/-)).Both mouse models exhibited impaired female fertility,characterized by reduced litter sizes and small ovarian ***,RNA-seq and quantitative proteomics analysis unveiled that Rnf111 haploinsufficiency led to dysregulation in female gonad development and negative regulation of the BMP signaling pathway within mouse *** conclusion,our findings strongly suggest that monoallelic deleterious variants in RNF111 can impair female fertility and induce POI in both humans and mice.

OBJECTIVE To evalu ate the role of resting magnetocardiography in identifying seve re coronary artery stenosis in patients with suspected coronary artery *** A total of 513 patients with angina symptoms were included and divided into two groups based on the extent of coronary artery disease determined by angiography:the non-severe coronary stenusis group(<70% stenosis) and the severe coronary stenosis group(≥70% stenosis).The diagnostic model was constructed using magnetic field map(MFM) parameters,either individually or in combination with clinical *** performance of the models was evaluated using receiver operating characteristic curves,accuracy,sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value(PPV) and ne gative predictive value(NPV).Calibration plots and decision curve analysis were performed to investigate the clinical utility and performance of the models,*** In the severe coronary stenosis group,QR_MCTDd,S_MDp,and TT_(MA)C_(50) were significantly higher than those in the non-severe coronary stenosis group(10,46±10.66 vs,5.11±6.07,P <0.001;7.2±8.64 vs.4.68±6.95,P=0.003;0.32±57.29 vs.0.26±57.29,P <0.001).While,QR_MV_(amp),R_(MA),and T_(MA) in the severe coronary stenosis group were lower(0.23±0.16 vs.0.28±0.16,P<0.001;55.06±48.68 vs.59.24±53.01,P<0.001;51.67±39.32 vs. 60.45±51.33,P <0.001).Seven MFM parameters were integrated into the model,resulting in an area under the curve of 0.810(95% CI:0.765-0.855).The sensitivity,specificity,PPV,NPV,and accurecy were 71.7%,80.4%,93.3%,42.8 %,and 73.5%;*** combined model exhibited an area under the curve of 0.845(95% CI:0.798-0.892).The sensitivity,specificity,PPV,NPV,and accuracy were 84.3%,73.8%,92.6%,54.6%,and 82.1%;*** curves demonstrate d excellent agreement between the nomogram prediction and actual *** decision curve analysis showed that the c ombine d model provided greater net benefit compared to the magnetocardingraphy model.C

Garnet-type solid-state batteries(SSBs)are considered to be one of the most promising candidates to realize next-generation lithium metal batteries with high energy density and ***,the dendrite-induced short-circuit and the poor interfacial contact impeded the practical ***,interface engineering to achieve low interfacial resistance without high temperature calcination was developed,which Li_(6.4)La_(3)Zr_(1.4)Ta_(0.6)O_(12)(LLZTO)was simply coated with complex hydride(Li_(4)(BH_(4))_(3)I(3L1L))in various mass ratios n(Li_(4)(BH_(4))_(3)I)-(100−n)LLZTO(10≤n≤40).The interfacial conductivity increases by more than three orders of magnitude from 8.29×10^(−6)S·cm^(−1)to 1.10×10^(−2)S·cm^(−1).Symmetric Li cells exhibit a high critical current density(CCD)of 4.0 mA·cm^(−2) and an excellent cycling stability for 200 h at 4.0 mA·cm^(−2).SSBs with polymeric sulfur-polyacrylonitrile(SPAN)cathode achieve a high discharge capacity of 1149 mAh·g^(−1) with a capacity retention of 91%after 100 cycles(0.2 C).This attempt guides a simple yet efficient strategy for obtaining a stable Li/LLZTO interface,which would promote the development of solid-state batteries.
