Eight novel 5,7-disubstituted-2-{5-methyl-3-（4-trifluoromethylphenyl）isoxazol-4-ylcarbonylimino}-2H-1,2,4-thiadiazolo[2,3- a]pyrimidines were synthesized by multi-step reactions in yields 68-85%.Reactions were carried out either by ultrasound irradiation or conventional method,and found it was faster and more efficient under ultrasonic *** herbicidal activities against Echinochloa crus-galli,Digitaria sanguinalis and Chenopodium serotinum were also evaluated by flat-utensil method,and the results indicated that the target compounds exhibited significant activities,some were even higher than the control herbicide.

By the so-called wormlike chain （WLC） model in polymer physics envision- ing an isotropic rod that is continuously flexible, the force-extension relations of semi- flexible polymer chains strongly constrained by various confinements are theoretically investigated, including a slab-like confinement where the polymer chains are sandwiched between two parallel impenetrable walls, and a capped nanochannel confinement with a circular or rectangular cross-section where the chains are bounded in three directions. The Brownian dynamics （BD） simulations based on the generalized bead-rod （GBR） model are performed to verify the theoretical predictions.

The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of tyrosine kinase Src on Tyrosine 307(Y307)phosphor-ylation,protein phosphatase 2A(PP2A)activity,and on tau *** Src siRNA was transfected into cultured mouse neuroblastoma N2a cells to inhibit the expression of Src protein,and the phosphorylation levels of PP2A Y307 and tau at different sites,as well as PP2A activity were detected at different time points after siRNA *** hours after siRNA transfec-tion,the protein level of Src was dramatically decreased,with decreased PP2A Y307 ***,the total PP2A protein level was also decreased,together with a decreased PP2A *** was hyperpho-sphorylated at the Ser198/199/202 *** factors may be involved in the cellular regulation of PP2A *** Src expression could induce inactivation of PP2A and tau hyperphosphorylation.

Two powdery mildew resistance genes were Identified from Aegilops tauschll accessions Y201 and Y212 and mapped using two different F2 populations derived from the crosses between susceptible accession Y2272 and Y201, and susceptible accession Y2263 and Y212. Genetic analysis of resistance to powdery mildew Indicated that the resistance of Y201 was controlled by a single dominant gene, whereas the resistance of Y212 was controlled by a single recessive gene. We have temporarily designated these genes as PmY201 and PmY212, respectively. By bulk segregation analysis, six mlcrosatelllte markers Including Xgwm174, cfd26, cfd57, cfdl02, Xgwm583 and Xgwm639 were found to be linked to PraY201 with genetic distances of 5.2, 7.7, 9.6, 12.5, 20.2 and 22.1 cM, respectively. Five SSR markers, including cfd57, Xgwm182, cfd7, cfd102, and cfd12, were found to be linked to PmY212 with distances of 5.6, 7.2, 11.5, 14.7, and 18.5 cM, respectively. According to the locations of the linked markers, the two resistance genes were located In the 5DL region. Based on the chromosomal locations and the resistance patterns of the two genes, we propose that PmY201 and PmY212 are two novel powdery mildew resistance genes, and are suitable for marker-assisted selection.

This study is to investigate the role of lipid transfer protein （LTP1） gene of wheat （Triticum aestivum L.） in powdery mildew （Blumeria graminis ***. tritici, Bgt） resistance. A pair of primers based on the full length cDNA of wheat LTP1 was used for amplifying the coding regions of LTP in hexaploid （AABBDD） wheat and its diploid donors T. urartu （AA）, Ae. speltoides ssp speltoide （SS） and Ae. tauchii ssp strangulate （DD）. LTP1 and LTP2 of wheat were isolated from the tested two hexaploid （ABD） materials： powdery mildew resistance near isogenic line （NIL） Mardler/7 × Bainong 3217 and its susceptible parent Bainong 3217 at the same time, while only one kind ofLTP gene was found in the tested three diploid materials respectively by using the above PCR primer pairs. Two peaks of the expression of LTP1 and LTP2 induced by powdery mildew were observed [one occurred at 3 h after inoculation （hai）; the other occurred at 10 hai] in resistant NIL Mardler/7 × Bainong3217 in comparison with a steady transcript level of LTP1 and LTP2 in susceptible Bainong3217. Transient over-expression result showed that LTP1 reduced the penetration efficiency （PE） of powdery mildew in susceptible cultivar by about 28.3%. This result indicated an obvious effectiveness of LTP1 in powdery mildew resistance. Expression analysis also showed that LTP1 and LTP2 of wheat are generally involved in salt/drought, but not in low temperature stress early responses.

AIM: To investigate the efficacy of extended antimicrobial prophylaxis (EAP) after gastrectomy by systematic review of literature and meta-analysis. METHODS: Electronic databases of PubMed, Embase, CINAHL, the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, the Cochrane Controlled Trials Register and the China National Knowledge Infrastructure were searched systematically from January 1980 to October 2012. Strict literature retrieval and data extraction were carried out independently by two reviewers and meta-analyses were conducted using RevMan 5.0.2 with statistics tools risk ratios (RRs) and intention-to-treat analyses to evaluate the items of total complications, surgical site infection, incision infection, organ (or space) infection, remote site infection, anastomotic leakage (or dehiscence) and mortality. Fixed model or random model was selected accordingly and forest plot was conducted to display RR. Likewise, Cochrane Risk of Bias Tool was applied to evaluate the quality of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) included in this meta-analysis. RESULTS: A total of 1095 patients with gastric cancer were enrolled in four RCTs. No statistically significant differences were detected between EAP and intraoperative antimicrobial prophylaxis (IAP) in total complications (RR of 0.86, 95%CI: 0.63-1.16, P = 0.32), surgical site infection (RR of 1.97, 95%CI: 0.86-4.48, P = 0.11), incision infection (RR of 4.92, 95%CI: 0.58-41.66, P = 0.14), organ or space infection (RR of 1.55, 95%CI: 0.61-3.89, P = 0.36), anastomotic leakage or dehiscence (RR of 3.85, 95%CI: 0.64-23.17, P = 0.14) and mortality (RR of 1.14, 95%CI: 0.10-13.12; P = 0.92). Likewise, multiple-dose antimicrobial prophylaxis showed no difference compared with single-dose antimicrobial prophylaxis in surgical site infection (RR of 1.10, 95%CI: 0.62-1.93, P = 0.75). Nevertheless, EAP showed a decreased remote site infection rate compared with IAP alone (RR of 0.54, 95%CI: 0.34-0.86, P = 0.01), which is the only significa

The energy conversion efficiency of a multistage synchronous induction coilgun(MSSICG) has become one of the key factors that restricts its industrialization. To improve the launch efficiency of medium-and high-velocity MSSICG,we propose an optimization design scheme combining orthogonal experimental design(OED) and self-consistent design method in this paper. The OED is introduced to reduce the number of iterations and improve the identification accuracy and efficiency. A self-consistent design model is established to overcome a defect that the parameters that need to be optimized will multiply as the number of coil stages increases. The influence of six factors(radial thickness of armature, axial length of armature, axial length of coil, capacitance, wire diameter, and slip speed) on the launch efficiency are then evaluated by range analysis. This work presents a valuable reference for optimizing medium-and high-velocity MSSICG.
