Objective:To show hemolymph apoptosis in imported shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei from Hawaii to ***:One hundred and eighty shrimps[(7.98±0.54)g] which were collcted from a research shrimp farm located in Heleh site in north of Bushehr Province were distributed equally to 6 glass aquariums(50 cm×50 cm×60 cm)as group A in triplicate(imported batch in 2011,without crossing with other generations)with well clean aerated sea water(100 L per aquarium),salinity of 40‰and temperature of 29℃.Shrimps of group B(produced by crossing the adults of imported batches in 2009 up to 2011)were distributed also among 6 aquariums with the same *** shrimp groups were injected with concentration of LD_(50)=1×10^(5.4)white spot ***:The results showed that in group A,the mortality began approximately 24 h after exposure and reached 100%after 36 h but no mortality was occurred up to 15 d in shrimps of group *** slide evaluation of hemolymph of group B showed an increasing trend of apoptosis occurrence in all three types of hemolymph cells,hyalinocytes,semi-granulocytes and granulocytes from 24 h to 72 h in contrary to group A that not any apoptosis was observed during the course of the study(15 d).Conclusions:It is concluded that crossing among the speific pathogen free generations could induce the increasing immunity level through apoptosis to protect them against white spot disease.

Background Currently,there is no comprehensive and multidisciplinary recommendation study covering all aspects of pediatric dysphagia(PD).This study aimed to generate PD management recommendations with methods that can be used in clinical practice to fill this gap in our country and in the world,from the perspective of experienced multidisciplinary *** This recommendation paper was generated by a multidisciplinary team,using the seven-step process and a three-round modified Delphi survey via ***,ten open-ended questions were created,and then detailed recommendations including management,diagnosis,treatment,and follow-up were created with the answers from these *** recommendation item was voted on by the experts as overall consensus(strong recommendation),approaching consensus(weak recommendation)and divergent consensus(not recommended).Results In the 1st Delphi round,a questionnaire of 414 items was prepared based on the experts’responses to ten open-ended *** the 2nd Delphi round,59.2%of these items were accepted as *** the 3rd Delphi round,62.6%of 246 items were accepted for inclusion in the *** final version recommendations consisted of 154 *** This study includes comprehensive and detailed answers for every problem that could be posed in clinical practice for the management of PD,and recommendations are for all pediatric patients with both oropharyngeal and esophageal dysphagia.

Association between Autism and Arsenic, Lead, Cadmium, Manganese Levels in Hair and Urine

Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by stereotypic/repetitive behavior, impaired communication, imagination and social interactions. Recently, studies have investigated the possible association between the etiology of autism and potential roles of various environmental agents, especially heavy metals. The aim of the present study was to examine levels of toxic metals in hair and urine samples of an autistic child. The levels of lead, cadmium, arsenic and manganese in hair and urine of this child were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry and compared with those of healthy children who had been assessed in previous studies. The autistic child had higher hair levels of lead (0.80 μg/g vs. 0.01 μg/g), cadmium (0.083 μg/g vs. 0.06 μg/g) and arsenic (0.09 μg/g vs. 0.06 μg/g). Urine levels of lead (12.54 μg/L vs. 3.36 μg/L) and cadmium (3.24 μg/L vs. 0.53 μg/L) were higher than those of controls; whereas arsenic levels in urine were lower (6.81 μg/L vs. 32.06 μg/L). Hair and urine samples of this autistic child contained lower concentrations of manganese (0.12 μg/g and 0.028 μg/g) as compared to healthy children (0.41 μg/L and 4.81 μg/L). In conclusion, our study demonstrated elevation in the levels of lead, cadmium and arsenic in a child with autism.

Effects of different concentrations of pollen extract on brain tissues of Oncorhynchus mykiss

＜正＞ Aim: Fotemustine （FM） is an antineoplastic agent used in the systemic treatment of the glioblastoma. In this study beside fotemustine. dexamethasone （DM） was used as an antiangiogenic agent and atorvastatin （AV） which is antilipidemic but also putative apoptatic was used. Our aim was investigate the effects of the combination of three agents on the mice C6 glioblastoma（ C6G） tumour mass, cell proliferation, angiogenesis and lipid *** and Metods: 5x106 C6G cell was inoculated to flank of the Bulb - C mice. 10 days after inoculation. FM10 mg/kg, DM3 mg/kg single dose（ip） and AV10 mg/kg/day（oral） for 8 days were applied. On 18th day, extracted C6G were weighted and their lipid profiles were detected by gas chromatography. Cell proliferation was measured by kI - 67 antibody. Angiogenesis was detected by PTEN ***: In all treatment groups, tumour mass was decreased by 48-68 % in comparison with control. DM augmented EM effects by 2. 4 % . On the other hand AV had no effect. Amount of total fatty acid was increased by DM. reduced by FM. but not effected by AV. Linoleic acid/arachidonic acid ratio （18:2/20: 4） was decreased with FM 60 % in comparison with control.

Objective:To determine the antioxidant capacities of pollen extract applied at different concentrations on biochemical parameters in brain tissues of rainbow ***:parameters in brain tissues of fish treated at various concentrations of the pollen extract(0.5,2.5,5,10,20 and 30 mg/L)for 96 *** malondialdehyde levels,total antioxidant status,total oxidant status,oxidative stress index and amounts of total free sulfhydryl groups were analyzed in fish ***:The effective concentration of pollen was determined with some biochemical treated compared to control group(P<0.05).The highest level of total antioxidant status(P<0.05)and the lowest value(P<0.05)of the total oxidant status was 10 mg/L concentration of *** stress index and level of sulfhydryl groups showed lowest values(P<0.05)in 10 mg/L pollen treated group compared with control ***:To apply the pollen to fish reduces the detrimental effects and modulates oxidative status via activating antioxidant defense systems at brain *** a result,pollen can be added up to 10 mg/L to the medium of rainbow trout to improve health of fish.
