A taxonomic review is provided for the flavomaculata-group of the genus Macrophya, including the descriptions of two new species from China, namely M. coloritibialis li, liu ＆ Wei, sp. nov. and 34.. zhui li, liu ＆ Wei, sp. nov. A key to Chinese species of this group is provided, The type specimens of new species are deposited in the Insect Collection of Central South University of Forestry and Technology, Changsha, Hunan, China.

Three new species of the annulitibia-group of the genus Macrophya Dahlbom （Hymenoptera, Tenthredinidae） in Mts. Qinling from China are described, namely M acrophya brevicinctata li, liu ＆ Wei, sp. nov., M. qinlingium li, liu ＆ Wei, sp. nov. and M. rugosifossa li, liu ＆ Wei, sp. nov. A key to all known species of the annulitibia-group from China is provided. The specimens examined in this study are mostly deposited in the Insect Collection of Central South University of Forestry and Technology, Changsha, Hunan, China, including all holotypes and some paratypes of the new species. Other paratypes of the new species are deposited in the Department of Zoology, National Museum of Nature and Science, Amakubo, Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan.

Lung Cancer Survival Improvement through Surgical Intervention in PUMCH Hospital

Objective： To investigate and evaluate improvement of lung cancer survival after surgical intervention in PUMC hospital during the last 15 years. Methods： From January 1989 to December 2003, 1574 lung cancer cases underwent surgical treatment and followed up. All cases in this series were divided into two groups according to time period： group A （1999-2003） and group B （1989-1998）. The difference in the survival rate between groups A and B was compared. Results： The morbidity and mortality in group A was decreased significantly in comparison to group B （11.2% vs. 19.2%, 1.06% vs. 1.93%, respectively）. However, the 3-year and 5-year survival rate was increased from 42.35% to 56.07%, and from 28.46% to 38.99%, respectively. A significant improvement in survival was observed in patients with stage Ⅰ, Ⅱ and ⅢA, but not in those with stage ⅢB and Ⅳ. Also, patients with lobectomy had more satisfactory results than those receiving exploratory thoracotomy, limited resection, pneumonectomy and sleeve resection. Conclusion： Lobectomy plus systematic mediastinal lymph nodes dissection has become the standard mode for resectable lung cancer. Combination of complete resection along with lymph nodal dissection, and postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy based on platinum/3^rd generation chemotherapy medicine, has preliminarily been justified, proving an important approach for effective improvement in long-term survival of non-small cell lung carcinoma.

lithium sulfide(li_(2)S)is a promising cathode for a practical lithium-sulfur battery as it can be coupled with various safe lithium-free ***,the high activation potential(>3.5 V)together with the shuttling of lithium polysulfides(liPSs)bottleneck its practical *** are trying to present a catalysis solution to solve both problems simultaneously,specially with twinborn heterostructure to shoot off the trouble in interfacial contact between two solids,catalyst and li_(2)*** a typical example,a Co9S8/li_(2)S heterostructure is reported here as a novel self-catalytic cathode through a co-recrystallization followed by a one-step carbothermic ***9S8 as the catalyst effectively lowers the li_(2)S activation potential(liPSs to suppress the *** obtained freestanding cathode of Co9S8/li_(2)S heterostructures encapsulated in three-dimensional graphene shows a high capacity,reaching 92.6%of li_(2)S theoretical capacity,high rate performance(739 mAh g1 at 2 C),and a low capacity fading(0.039%per cycle at 1 C over 900 cycles).Even under a high li_(2)S loading of 12 mg cm^(-2)and a low E/S ratio of 5μL mgli_(2)S^(-1),86%of theoretical capacity can be utilized.

With the fast-growing graphical user interface(GUI)development workload in the Internet industry,some work attempted to generate maintainable front-end code from GUI *** can be more suitable for using user interface(UI)design drafts that contain UI ***,fragmented layers inevitably appear in the UI design drafts,which greatly reduces the quality of the generated *** of the existing automated GUI techniques detects and merges the fragmented layers to improve the accessibility of generated *** this paper,we propose UI layers merger(UILM),a vision-based method that can automatically detect and merge fragmented layers into UI *** UILM contains the merging area detector(MAD)and a layer merging *** MAD incorporates the boundary prior knowledge to accurately detect the boundaries of UI ***,the layer merging algorithm can search for the associated layers within the components’boundaries and merge them into a *** present a dynamic data augmentation approach to boost the performance of *** also construct a large-scale UI dataset for training the MAD and testing the performance of *** results show that the proposed method outperforms the best baseline regarding merging area detection and achieves decent layer merging accuracy.A user study on a real application also confirms the effectiveness of our UILM.

The effects of large piece xenogeneic bone which was separated from healthy pigs as a scaffold on repair of mandibular defect was investigated and the applicability of antigen-extracted xenogeneic cancellous bone (AXCB) soaked with rhBMP-2 in bone defect repair was assessed. Mandibular defects were created in 48 New Zealand Rabbits, and then randomly divided into 4 groups, which was grafted in the mandibular defects with AXCB, AXCB soaked with rhBMP-2, autograft bone, or blank. Equal number of animals from each group was classified into three time points (4, 8, and 12 weeks) after operation for gross pathological observation, hematoxylin and eosin (H & E) staining, radiographic examination, and bone density measurement. H & E staining revealed that the area percentage of bone regeneration in the group of AXCB/rhBMP-2 graft was 27.72 ± 4.68, 53.90 ± 21.92, and 77.35 ± 9.83 when at 4, 8, and 12 weeks, which was better than that of auto bone graft, prompting that the group of AXCB/rhBMP-2 graft had commendable osteogenic effect. And comparing with the AXCB without rhBMP-2, of which the area percentage of bone regeneration was only 14.03 ± 5.02, 28.49 ± 11.35, and 53.90 ± 21.92, the osteogenic effect of AXCB/rhBMP-2 graft was demonstrated to be much better. In the group of AXCB/rhBMP-2 graft, the area percentage of bone regeneration increased, and the implanted materials were gradually degraded and replaced by autogenous bone regeneration over time. We concluded that antigen-extracted xenogeneic cancellous bone (AXCB) graft soaked with rhBMP-2 had shown excellent osteogenic effect in repair of bone defects, with good biocompability.

From 1970 to 1997, 67 patients with pulmonary hamartoma were operated on in our hospital. There were 38 men and 29 women with a M/F ratio of 1. 3: 1. The mean age was 47 years (range 21 to 82 years). The peak incidence was 40 to 60 years. 39% Patients had pulmonary symptoms: hemoptysis, cough, phlegm and chest pain. All were solitary. 68. 7% tumors were located in right lung and 64. 2% in upper or middle lobe. 80. 6% hamartomas were less than 3 cm in transverse diameter. On chest films, the opacity was homogeneous in 79.1% cases, heterogeneous in 20.9% and calcifications in 9.0%. The vast majority of shadows were heterogeneous on CT films. Operation is the best treatment for hamartomas. Postoperative mortality was 1. 5%. There was none recurrences and canceration during the follow-up (mean 14 years).
