Optimization plays an effective role in various disciplines of science and *** problems should either be optimized using the appropriate method(i.e.,minimization or maximization).Optimization algorithms are one of the efficient and effective methods in providing quasioptimal solutions for these type of *** this study,a new algorithm called the mutated Leader Algorithm(mLA)is *** main idea in the proposed mLA is to update the members of the algorithm population in the search space based on the guidance of a mutated *** addition to information about the best member of the population,themutated leader also contains information about the worst member of the population,as well as other normal members of the *** proposed mLA is mathematically modeled for implementation on optimization problems.A standard set consisting of twenty-three objective functions of different types of unimodal,fixed-dimensional multimodal,and high-dimensional multimodal is used to evaluate the ability of the proposed algorithm in ***,the results obtained from themLA are compared with eight well-known *** results of optimization of objective functions show that the proposed mLA has a high ability to solve various optimization ***,the analysis and comparison of the performance of the proposed mLA against the eight compared algorithms indicates the superiority of the proposed algorithm and ability to provide more suitable quasi-optimal solutions.

This paper introduces the Wolverine Optimization Algorithm(WoOA),a biomimetic method inspired by the foraging behaviors of wolverines in their natural *** innovatively integrates two primary strategies:scavenging and hunting,mirroring the wolverine’s adeptness in locating carrion and pursuing live *** algorithm’s uniqueness lies in its faithful simulation of these dual strategies,which are mathematically structured to optimize various types of problems *** effectiveness of WoOA is rigorously evaluated using the Congress on Evolutionary Computation(CEC)2017 test suite across dimensions of 10,30,50,and *** results showcase WoOA’s robust performance in exploration,exploitation,and maintaining a balance between these phases throughout the search *** to twelve established metaheuristic algorithms,WoOA consistently demonstrates a superior performance across diverse benchmark *** analyses,including paired t-tests,Friedman test,and Wilcoxon rank-sum tests,validate WoOA’s significant competitive edge over its ***,WoOA’s practical applicability is illustrated through its successful resolution of twenty-two constrained scenarios from the CEC 2011 suite and four complex engineering design *** applications underscore WoOA’s efficacy in tackling real-world optimization challenges,further highlighting its potential for widespread adoption in engineering and scientific domains.

本文旨在研究孔隙度对具有不均匀横截面的功能分级多孔梁的自由振动和屈曲行为的影响。一般认为材料的性能沿厚度方向变化,而梁的横截面沿其长度方向分布不均匀。三种不同的孔隙度分布包括对称分布、非对称分布和均匀分布。利用经典的梁理论和Hamilton原理推导出了问题的控制方程,并用微分求积法推导出公式。通过已知方法和分析解法对所得结果进行了验证。通过网格独立性研究,确定了最优离散化设置。利用详细的参数化分析研究了不同力学参数,包括孔隙率系数、长径比和变化截面对基频和临界屈曲载荷的影响。结果表明,材料孔隙率的增加会导致梁的屈曲能力显著降低。然而,梁的自由振动行为完全取决于其孔隙度模式。此外,孔隙呈对称分布的梁其屈曲能力和基频性能最好。

The gallbladder(GB)is a susceptible organ,prone to various pathologies that can be identified using different imaging *** ultrasound(TUS)is typically the initial diagnostic method due to its numerous well-established ***,in cases of uncertainty or when a definitive diagnosis cannot be established,computed tomography(CT)or magnetic resonance imaging may be employed to provide more detailed ***,CT scans may sometimes offer inadequate spatial resolution,which can limit the differentiation of GB lesions,particularly when smaller yet clinically relevant abnormalities are ***,endoscopic ultrasound(EUS)provides higher frequency compared to TUS,superior spatial resolution,and the option for contrast-enhanced harmonic imaging,enabling a more comprehensive ***,EUS can serve as a supplementary tool when conventional imaging methods are *** review will describe the standard EUS examination of the GB,focusing on its endosonographic characteristics in various GB path-ologies.

Prediction of Response to Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy in Egyptian Patients with Locally Advanced Breast Cancer: The Evolving Role of Tumour Infiltrating Lymphocytes (TILs)

Background & objectives:?Presence of TILs in breast cancer indicates better therapeutic responses to neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC), increased pCR and improved outcome. We aim at evaluation of TILs in breast cancer biopsies in correlation with pathological response after NAC in locally advanced breast cancer methods. This study was conducted at Ain Shams university hospital and maadi military hospital in Egypt. 45 Female patients with locally advanced breast cancer were treated with NAC;?pathological response was assessed. Tumours were categorized into: luminal A, luminal B, Her2 enriched and TNBC. Assessment of TILs (CD4 and CD8 lymphocytes) was based on Immuno-Oncology Biomarker Working Group guidelines.?Results:?Tumours were classified into high and low TIL groups using the interquartile range cutoff (29%). High CD4 group showed increased pCR (p?= 0.003) and smaller residual tumours (p?= 0.04). High CD8 group showed a significant association with smaller residual tumours (p?= 0.003). At follow-up of 24-months, CD4 and CD8 high groups showed significantly higher 2-years DFS. The difference between CD4 high and low groups was significant in regards to estrogen receptor status, showing higher levels in hormone-negative tumors (p = 0.029). Patients with Her2 subtype showed higher CD4 (p = 0.007) and CD8 expression (p = 0.018). In CD4 & CD8 low groups, more patients developed local recurrence and distant metastasis (p = 0.025). Conclusion:?We concluded that TILs may predict response to NAC and overall prognosis of breast cancer. The evaluation of TILs in correlation with morphological or genomics-based parameters helps to stratify patients of breast cancer.

There are many optimization problems in different branches of science that should be solved using an appropriate *** optimization algorithms are one of the most efficient approaches to solve this type of *** this paper,a new optimization algorithm called All members-Based Optimizer(AmBO)is introduced to solve various optimization *** main idea in designing the proposedAmBOalgorithm is to use more information from the population members of the algorithm instead of just a few specific members(such as best member and worst member)to update the population ***,in AmBO,any member of the population can play a role in updating the population *** theory of AmBO is described and then mathematically modeled for implementation on optimization *** performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated on a set of twenty-three standard objective functions,which belong to three different categories:unimodal,high-dimensional multimodal,and fixed-dimensional multimodal *** order to analyze and compare the optimization results for the mentioned objective functions obtained by AmBO,eight other well-known algorithms have been also *** optimization results demonstrate the ability of AmBO to solve various optimization ***,comparison and analysis of the results show that AmBO is superior andmore competitive than the other mentioned algorithms in providing suitable solution.

OBJECTIVES： Using genetic markers and miRs work strongly beside other sensitive biomarkers in lupus management during sensitive period of pregnancy. mETHOD： Pubmed and Google Scholar databases were searched from 2000 to 2017 using the terms ＂lupus,＂＂lupus pregnancy, biomarkers,＂＂micro-RNA,＂＂polymorphisms,＂＂anti-phospholipid antibodies,＂ and ＂cluster differentiation markers,＂ DISCUSSION： Complement is a valuable biomarker in lupus pregnancy. However, the complement profile has ambiguous meaning because decreased levels of C3 and C4 reflect inflammation and because they are also prognostic biomarkers for abortion. Furthermore, increased C3 and C4 levels indicate hepatic protein synthesis in hepatocytes. Anti-phospholipid （APL） antibodies are present in 25% to 50% of lupus patients, and can lead to thrombotic and obstetric complications in some pregnancies and increase the risk of abortion, especially in a pregnant woman in the active phase of lupus. Several studies have associated APL with HELLP syndrome. However, other pregnancy complications have not been associated with APL. Autoantibodies against the major vault protein and anti-double strand DNA antibodies are valuable biomarkers in evaluating lupus activity. The expression pattern ofmicro-RNAs （miRs） differs in various diseases. Current studies have demonstrated the potential of miRs as diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers in various diseases; for example, the level of miR-126 is higher in lupus. CONCLUSION： miR-223-3p and miR-451 are informative biomarkers in estimating disease activity. TWEAK, BAFF, and APOL1 genes, and their polymorphisms are informative in estimating disease activity, especially renal effects, and in monitoring higher-risk pregnant women. Further studies of these genes and their relevant polymorphisms are needed.

目的研究转单基因和转双基因小鼠外周微血管反应性改变的作用机制.方法在未转基因、转单基因和转双基因小鼠的后足爪垫皮肤暴露微血管网,灌注血管扩张剂乙酰胆碱和硝普钠,多普勒检测血液流量变化,应用Western blot检测小鼠外周血β-淀粉样蛋白(Aβ)水平.结果与未转基因和转单基因(表达SOD1基因突变子G93A)小鼠相比,2-3月龄转单基因(表达APP -C100、TgC100)和转双基因(APP-C100和SOD1基因突变子G93A基因共表达)小鼠外周血液流量下降28%,8-9月龄TgC100小鼠外周血液流量减少34%,TgC100和转双基因小鼠外周血A β水平较未转基因小鼠明显升高,差异有显著性意义(P<0.01).结论 TgC100和转双基因小鼠外周血管反应性的改变很可能由循环性可溶性Aβ引起,Aβ血管活性涉及内皮和非内皮机制.

Occult hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection (OBI), alternatively defined as occult hepatitis B (OHB), is a challenging clinical entity. It is recognized by two main characteristics: absence of HBsAg, and low viral replication. The previous two decades have witnessed a remarkable progress in our understanding of OBI and its clinical implications. Appropriate diagnostic techniques must be adopted. Sensitive HBV DNA amplification assay is the gold standard assay for detection of OBI. Viral as well as host factors are implicated in the pathogenesis of OBI. However, published data reporting the infectivity of OBI by transfusion are limited. Several aspects including OBI transmission, infectivity and its relation to the development of chronic liver diseases and hepatocellular carcinoma have to be resolved. The aim of the present review is to highlight recent data on OBI with a focus on its virological diagnosis and clinical outcome.
