We study the entanglement of dressed atom and its spontaneous emission in a three-level A-type closed-loop atomic system in a multi-photon resonance condition and beyond it. It is shown that the von Neumann entropy in such a system is phase-dependent, and it can be controlled by either the intensity or relative phase of applied fields. It is demonstrated that for the special case of the Rabi frequency of applied fields, the system is disentangled. In addition, we take into account the effect of Doppler broadening on the entanglement and it is found that a suitable choice of laser propagation direction allows us to obtain the steady state degree of entanglement （DEM） even in the presence of the Doppler effect.

This study focused on metal release from technosols induced by synthetic root exudate(SRE).The effect of SRE composition on metal release was studied using six *** was done by treating the technosols with SRE solutions having varying concentrations of low molecular weight organic acids (LMWOAs),namely oxalic,citric,and malic ***,the physico-chemical parameters (p H and electric conductivity),Ca,Mg,Fe,Zn,and Cu release (by atomic absorption spectroscopy,AAS),chemical changes (by Fourier transform infrared,FT-IR),and organic parameters (by fluorescence) were *** release showed to be dependent on the SRE composition and technosol *** acid selectively released Ca,Mg,Zn,and Cu from technosols in a concentration-dependent manner;oxalic acid showed a significant role in the release of Mg and *** relatively high LMWOA concentrations,particulate organo-mineral complexes ***,technosol weathering was seen by the dissolution of humic substances and ferriallophanes,which in turn caused metal ***,re-precipitation of these phases showed to re-sorb metals,thus underestimating the role of LMWOAs in metal ***,the selective metal leaching was highly dependent on the SRE composition and LMWOA concentrations on one hand,and on the mineral,organic,and organo-mineral components of the technosols on the *** understanding of such processes is crucial for proposing and implementing environmental management strategies to reduce metal leaching or for the beneficial re-usage of metals (e.g.,for agromining) from technosols.

This paper investigates the validity of a quasi-steady approximation for sediment transport and presents a new algorithm based on this concept. The developed non-coupled algorithm interacts among hydrodynamic, sediment, and morphology modules which are based on depth-averaged Navier-Stokes equations for the flow, the three-dimensional equation of conservation of sediment, and the mass balance between the bed and sediment(Exner equation) to simulate the reservoir sedimentation process. The non-coupled algorithm solves both the short-term scale and the relatively long-term scale problems of reservoir sedimentation. The proposed algorithm is verified using field data and by comparison with other accurate algorithms. Based upon the results of this investigation, the developed algorithm can be used to simulate long-term reservoir sedimentation while considerably decreasing the computational costs and preserving computational accuracy. The computational cost of the noncoupled algorithm is about 97% less than the conventional semi-coupled approach whereas the errors(Root Mean Square Error, Average Relative Error, and Maximum Relative Error of bed level) of the developed algorithm are approximately 15% greater than those for the semi-coupled algorithm for the average value.

The advances in technology increase the number of internet systems *** a result,cybersecurity issues have become more *** threats are one of the main problems in the area of ***,detecting cybersecurity threats is not a trivial task and thus is the center of focus for many researchers due to its *** study aims to analyze Twitter data to detect cyber threats using a multiclass classification *** data is passed through different tasks to prepare it for the *** Frequency and Inverse Document Frequency(TFIDF)features are extracted to vectorize the cleaned data and several machine learning algorithms are used to classify the Twitter posts into multiple classes of cyber *** results are evaluated using different metrics including precision,recall,F-score,and *** work contributes to the cyber security research *** experiments revealed the promised results of the analysis using the Random Forest(RF)algorithm with(F-score=81%).This result outperformed the existing studies in the field of cyber threat detection and showed the importance of detecting cyber threats in social media *** is a need for more investigation in the field of multiclass classification to achieve more accurate *** the future,this study suggests applying different data representations for the feature extraction other than TF-IDF such as Word2Vec,and adding a new phase for feature selection to select the optimum features subset to achieve higher accuracy of the detection process.

This study investigates the attitudes and concerns of the Australian public toward connected and autonomous vehicles(CAVs),and the factors influencing their willingness to adopt this *** a comprehensive survey,a diverse group of respondents provided valuable insights toward various CAV scenarios such as riding in a vehicle with no driver,self-driving public transport,self-driving taxis,and heavy vehicles without *** results highlight the significant impact of safety concerns about automated vehicles on individuals’attitudes across all *** levels of concern were associated with more negative attitudes,and a strong correlation between concerns and opposition underlines the necessity of addressing these apprehensions to build public trust and promote CAV ***,nearly 70%of respondents felt uncomfortable driving next to a CAV,but they displayed more confidence in adopting automated public transport in the near ***,around 40%of participants indicated a strong willingness to purchase a CAV,primarily driven by the desire to reduce their carbon footprint and safety ***,respondents with health conditions or disability exhibited heightened interest(almost double those without health conditions)in CAV *** differences emerged in attitudes and preferences toward CAVs,with women expressing a greater level of concern and perceiving higher barriers to CAV *** emphasizes the importance of employing targeted approaches to address the specific concerns of different *** study also underscores the role of trust in technology as a significant barrier to CAV deployment,ranking high among respondents’*** overcome these challenges and facilitate successful CAV deployment,various strategies are suggested,including live demonstrations,dedicated routes for automated public transport,adoption incentives,and addressing liability *** findings from this st

Controlled blasting techniques are used to control overbreak and to aid in the stability of the remaining rock formation. Presplitting is one of the most common methods which is used in many open pit mining and surface blast design. The purpose of presplitting is to form a fracture plane across which the radial cracks from the production blast cannot travel. The purpose of this study is to investigate of effect of presplitting on the generation of a smooth wall in continuum and jointed rock mass. The 2D distinct element code was used to simulate the presplitting in a rock slope. The blast load history as a function of time was applied to the inner wall of each blasthole. Important parameters that were considered in the analysis were stress tensor and fracturing pattern. The blast loading magnitude and blasthole spacing and jointing pattern were found to be very significant in the final results.

The present work aims to explore the impact of solar gamma-ray fiares(GRFs),detected by the Fermi-Large Area Telescope(LAT),and their associated X-ray fiares(XRFs)on the Earth’s lower *** data of ionospheric parameter fmin were collected from the Yamagawa mid-latitude ionosonde station in *** most of the GRFs used in this study are associated with soft X-ray(SXR)emissions,detected by the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite(GOES),we classified them into three types:simultaneous(S),delayed(D)and not associated(N),refiecting the phase occurrence of the solar ***,the ionospheric D layer responds strongly to XRFs more than *** temporal profiles of the ionospheric parameter fmin show distinct behaviors as a response to the various GRF *** the case of the S-type,a single strong peak,with an average value of 5.2 MHz,emanates in the fmin profile within an average interval of time of less than half an *** the case of the D-type,two successive peaks appear in the fmin profile,with an average value of 6.0 MHz for the second peak through a time interval of one hour after the onset of gamma-ray(GR)*** response of the fmin parameter to the N-type fiares appears as a single peak with an average value of 4.8 MHz within about an *** notice that the difference between the fmin peak values and the corresponding reference ones(dfmin)is more convenient and representative than the fmin values,where the median GR fiux of the S-,D-and N-types tends to increase as the average dfmin increases.

Fixed-bed reactors for the catalytic partial oxidation of methane （CPOM） to produce synthesis gas still pose hot spots *** is a good alternative reactor proposed to resolve these *** this paper,synthesis gas （hydrogen and carbon monoxide） production was investigated by a two-dimensional numerical model of single *** fluid dynamic （CFD） modeling with detailed chemistry was conducted to understand the CPOM on platinum （Pt） *** inlet velocity,microchannel pressure,and fuel to air ratio （F/A） are selected as the effective parameters on microchannel *** results show that Reynolds number has considerable effect on methane conversion,hydrogen to carbon monoxide ratio （H2/CO）,and product *** gas inlet velocity causes all the above parameters to *** is noted that increasing microchannel pressure and decreasing the ratio of fuel to air cause the decrease of the H2/CO ratio.
