Exploration of structural,optical,and photoluminescent properties of (1-x)niCo_(2)O_(4)/xPbS nanocomposites for optoelectronic applications

The(1-x)niCo_(2)O_(4)/x PbS(0≤x≤0.2)nanocomposite samples are synthesized using the hydrothermal and thermolysis *** different phases developed in the obtained nanocomposite samples are accurately determined using the x-ray diffraction technique equipped with a *** percentage of the formed phases(niCo_(2)O_(4)(nCO),PbS,PbSO_(4)),structural and microstructure parameters are determined using Rietveld quantitative phase *** transmission electron microscope(TEm)images and Rietveld analysis reveal almost isotropic particle size in the nano range with a very narrow size *** obtained phase percentage of PbS and PbSO4are smaller than nominated values(x)suggesting dissolving of some Pb and S ions into nCO which is then confirmed by the analysis of Fourier-transform infrared(FTIR)spectra of nanocomposite *** absorption spectra are modified upon doping nCO with *** optical band gaps of the nanocomposites increase as the amount of PbS *** effect of alloying on extinction coefficient,refractive index,dielectric constant,optical conductivity,the intensity,and emitted color from the photoluminescence of the nanocomposite samples are also *** refractive index value of nCO and nCO-PbS nanocomposite samples exhibit normal *** photoluminescent measurements reveal that the nCO-PbS nanocomposites can emit a violet *** improvement in the values of the nonlinear optical(nLO)parameters of pristine nCO at high frequencies or the nanocomposite samples at low frequencies,are made them used in nLO photonic devices.

In this paper,we analyzed the physical characteristics of the ternary alloys RE_(2)Rh_(3)Ge(RE=Pr and Sm)using the first principles calculation based on functional density theory integrated in the Wien2k *** calculated formation energies of Pr_(2)Rh_(3)Ge and Sm_(2)Rh_(3)Ge are−5.3827 and−5.2782 eV/atom,respectively,showing that these alloys may exist *** results of the band structure and density of states indicate that all of the compounds tested are magnetic metals,and their magnetism is mostly related to the contribution of Pr and Sm *** total magnetic moments of Pr_(2)Rh_(3)Ge and Sm_(2)Rh_(3)Ge are 4.07245 and 11.16161μb/f.u,*** parameters such as heat capacity at constant pressure,entropy,Debye temperature,lattice volume,compressibility coefficients,and Grüneisen parameter alloys were calculated using the Gibbs algorithm and studied in depth over a large temperature range of 0-900 *** Debye temperature increases with increasing pressure and decreases with decreasing ***,the Debye temperatures calculated at p=0 GPa and T=300 K are equal to be 342 and 322 K for Pr_(2)Rh_(3)Ge and Sm_(2)Rh_(3)Ge,*** optical characteristics such as the real and imaginary portions of the dielectric function,the absorption coefficient,the energy-loss function,and the refractive index were investigated and discussed in more depth.

biochemical Liver Functions and molecular Identification of Fasciola hepatica from Experimentally Infected Rat model

The current study was performed to evaluate the liver function status as well as molecular characterization of the recovered worms in rats experimentally infected with F. hepatica. Sixteen male Wister rats aged 30 days were randomly allocated into two groups (n = 8). The first group was infected orally with 15 viable encysted metacercaria of F. hepatica per animal. The other group was kept non-infected (control group). At zero time (before infection), the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th and 14th weeks post-infection (WPI), blood and serum samples were collected via puncture of retro-orbital plexus of veins from each rat. Serum enzyme level (AST and ALT) and total protein were measured, and the serum protein profile was carried out using agarose gel electrophoresis. During the period of the experiment, serum ALT and AST activities and serum total globulins significantly increased while serum total proteins and albumin markedly decreased in the infected group. On the 14th WPI, the data of the electropherogram showed that globulin fractions (α1-, β- and γ-globulin) levels were significantly increased while α2-globulin was markedly decreased in the infected group. The molecular analysis confirmed the amplification of the ITS1, ITS2 and nDI genes of F. hepatica recovered from the infected liver of rats with amplicon sizes of 630, 510 and 560 bp, respectively. Sequencing of the amplified ITS gene resulted in the determination of 3 strains (PP108836, PP108837, and PP108838). Also, analysis of the ITS2 gene resulted in obtaining 3 isolates under the accession numbers (PP109065, PP109066, and PP109067). In conclusion, fasciolosis in the rat model is suitable for routine experimental infections and caused a pronounced liver dysfunction with discharging of the Fasciola eggs in the faeces and the development of adult stages in the bile ducts. Electron Acceleration by microwave Radiation Inside a Rectangular Waveguide

Electron dynamics in the fields associated with a transverse magnetic （Tm） wave propagating inside a rectangular waveguide is analytically studied. The relativistic momentum and energy equations for an electron are solved, which was injected initially along the propagation direction of the microwave. Expressions of the acceleration gradient and deflection angle are obtained. In principle, it is shown that the electron can be accelerated in this condition and there is no deflection when the electron is injected from the centre of the waveguide front. However, it is found that the acceleration gradient and deflection angle depend strongly on the parameters of the microwave （intensity, frequency, etc.） and the dimensions of the waveguide.

nasicon type,mg_(0.5+x/2)Si_(2-x)Al_(x)(PO_(4))_(3) was synthesized using citric acid assisted sol-gel *** X-ray diffraction was applied to investigate the effect of extra mg^(2+)interstitial ion on the phase,unit cell parameters and structure of the *** mg_(0.625)Si_(1.75)Al_(0.25)(PO_(4))_(3) sample exhibited highest bulk conductivity value of 1.54×10^(−4)S cm^(−1)at ambient *** frequency dependence of theσac of these ceramic electrolytes follows the universal power law variation,σac(ω)=σo+Aωα.The conductivity parameters such as hopping frequencies,charge carrier concentration and mobile ion concentration proved that the increase in conductivity with x was due to the existence of mg^(2+) interstitial *** experiment results also revealed that the dielectric constant and dielectric loss decreased with *** mg_(0.625)Si_(1.75)Al_(0.25)(PO_(4))_(3) was found to be electrochemically stable up to 2.51 V at ambient temperature.

采用密度泛函理论计算了在无催化剂协助、水协助、三氟乙酸（TFA）协助条件下，2,2-二羟基-1-苯乙酮（1）,（2-氨基苯）甲醇（2）和KSCn（3）合成3-苯基-2,5-二氢-1-氢-苯并[d]咪唑并[5,1-b][1,3]恶嗪-1-硫酮的反应机理。计算结果表明，TFA、水和底物2可以改变和促进该反应。基于底物不同的反应顺序共探究了3种机理m1（1+2然后与3反应）、m2（1+3然后与2反应）和m3（2+3然后与1反应）,并发现底物2的亲核性强于底物3。计算表明TFA-水共同协助机理m1的路径最优，决速步是[3+2]环加成过程。TFA和水分子在整个反应中起着至关重要的作用，通过n—H…O,O—H…O及C—H…O相互作用来稳定过渡态和中间体的结构。它们还作为氢键（Hbs）给体和受体，通过改变乙二醛-水合物和KSCn的反应形式来提高底物的反应活性。底物2作为Hbs受体促进了烯醇-酮互变异构和质子转移过程。进一步发现该反应可以用水替换CH3Cn,为合成绿色恶嗪杂环类化合物提供了新的方案。

bACKGROUnD Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is the fifth most common *** expression of microRnAs(miRnAs)-326,miRnA-424,and miRnA-511 has been associated with the diagnosis and prognosis of HCC in different ***,limited information is available regarding their expression in Egyptian HCC *** To assess the role of circulating miRnAs-326,miRnA-424,and miRnA-511 in Egyptian HCC *** This prospective observational study included 70 HCC patients and 25 healthy *** circulating levels of these three miRnAs were evaluated by real-time *** operating characteristic curve analysis was used to test the diagnostic accuracy of micro RnA expression *** All miRnAs were differentially expressed in HCC patients;miRnAs326 and miRnA-424 were upregulated,while miRnA-511 was *** miRnA-326 and miRnA-424 showed sensitivity and specificity of 97%,71.4%,and 52%,60%,respectively,to differentiate HCC from ***,miRnA-326 was associated with survival and could differentiate between Child grades(A vs b);miRnA-424 significantly differentiated early vs intermediate stages of HCC;while miRnA-511 was significantly correlated with response to modified Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors(m RECIST).COnCLUSIOn We conclude that miRnA-326,miRnA-424,and miRnA-511 have diagnostic and prognostic roles in Egyptian patients with hepatitis C virus-related HCC and should be considered for better disease management.

A uniform experimental design(UED)is an extremely used powerful and efficient methodology for designing experiments with high-dimensional inputs,limited resources and unknown underlying models.A UED enjoys the following two significant advantages:(i)It is a robust design,since it does not require to specify a model before experimenters conduct their experiments;and(ii)it provides uniformly scatter design points in the experimental domain,thus it gives a good representation of this domain with fewer experimental trials(runs).many real-life experiments involve hundreds or thousands of active factors and thus large UEDs are *** large UEDs using the existing techniques is an nP-hard problem,an extremely time-consuming heuristic search process and a satisfactory result is not *** paper presents a new effective and easy technique,adjusted Gray map technique(AGmT),for constructing(nearly)UEDs with large numbers of four-level factors and runs by converting designs with s two-level factors and n runs to(nearly)UEDs with 2^(t−1)s four-level factors and 2tn runs for any t≥0 using two simple transformation *** justifications for the uniformity of the resulting four-level designs are given,which provide some necessary and/or sufficient conditions for obtaining(nearly)uniform four-level *** results show that the AGmT is much easier and better than the existing widely used techniques and it can be effectively used to simply generate new recommended large(nearly)UEDs with four-level factors.
