Na3V2（PO4）2O2F （VP） is recognized as a promising cathode material for sodium-ion batteries due to its stable structural framework and high specific *** functional theory （DFT） and finite element simulations show that incorporating SO42-into VP decreases its band gap,lowers the migration energy barrier,and ensures a uniform Na+concentration gradient and stress distribution during charge and discharge ***,the average Na+diffusion coefficient of Na3V2（PO4）1.95（SO4）0.05O2F（VPS-1） is roughly double that of VP,leading to enhanced rate capability (80 C,75.5 mAh g-1) and cycling stability (111.0 mAh g-1capacity after 1000 cycles at 10 C current density) for ***-1 exhibits outstanding fast-charging capabilities,achieving an 80%state of charge in just 8.1 *** assembled VPS-1//SbSn/NPC full cell demonstrated stable cycling over 200 cycles at a high 5 C current,maintaining an average coulombic efficiency of 95.35%.

Drought across Northwest China in late spring has exerted a vital effect on the local climate and agricultural production,and has been alleviated during the past *** study explored the influence of the preceding Arctic sea ice on the May drought in Northwest China caused by the precipitation *** analysis indicated that when the Greenland Sea ice concentration is abnormally high during February to April,the dry conditions in Northwest China tend to be *** increase of sea ice in the Greenland Sea can excite a meridional circulation,which causes sea surface temperature(SST)anomalies in the North Atlantic via the sea-air interaction,manifested as significant warm SST anomalies over the south of Greenland and the subtropical North Atlantic,but negative SST anomalies over the west of the *** abnormal SST pattern maintains to May and triggers a zonal wave train from the North Atlantic through Scandinavia and Central Asia to Northwest China,leading to abnormal cyclones in Northwest ***,Northwest China experiences a more humid climate than usual.

Low-cost and fluoride-free synthesis of MFI zeolite nanosheets with enhanced stability for benzene alkylation with ethanol

zeolite nanosheets with a short b-axis thickness are highly desirable in lots of catalytic reactions due to their reduced diffusion resistance. Nevertheless, conventional synthesis methods usually require expensive structure-directing agents(SDAs), pricey raw materials, and eco-unfriendly fluorine-containing additives. Here, we contributed a cost-effective and fluoride-free synthesis method for synthesizing high-quality MFI zeolite nanosheets through a Silicalite-1(Sil-1) seed suspension and urea cooperative strategy, only with inexpensive colloidal silica as the Si source. Our approach was effective for synthesizing both Sil-1 and aluminum-containing ZSM-5 nanosheets. By optimizing key synthesis parameters,including seed aging time, seed quantity, and urea concentration, we achieved precise control over the crystal face aspect ratio and b-axis thickness. We also revealed a non-classical oriented nanosheet growth mechanism, where Sil-1 seeds induced the formation of quasi-ordered precursor particles, and the(010)crystal planes of these particles facilitated urea adsorption, thereby promoting c-axis-oriented *** obtained ZSM-5 nanosheets exhibited exceptional catalytic performance in the benzene alkylation with ethanol, maintaining stability for over 500 h, which is 5 times longer than traditional ZSM-5 catalysts. Furthermore, large-scale production of ZSM-5 nanosheets was successfully carried out in a 3 L highpressure autoclave, yielding samples consistent with those from laboratory-scale synthesis. This work marks a significant step forward in the sustainable and efficient production of MFI nanosheets using inexpensive and environmentally friendly raw materials, offering the broad applicability in catalysis.

The constituents and geometric design of cathodic electrocatalyst to achieve high activity and durability are effective but challenging for the development of high-performance Li-O_(2)*** study employs a mild solution precipitation method followed by thermolysis to construct a faveolate open-structured ru-N/C matrix with a loosely braided network morphology as a bifunctional *** details prove that this hybrid structure is composed of ultrafine ru globular nanoparticles(ca.2 nm)coated with an N-enriched carbon film and exhibits a valuable beehive through-hole character for rapid mass transport during oxygen redox *** synergistic effect of open-structured and reticular network matrix with metal-N4 coordination induces asymmetric charge distributions with moderate adsorption/desorption behaviour with oxygen ***,this particular ru-N/C matrix cathode provides a promising Li_(2)O_(2)accommodation space and exhibits superior electrochemical performance in terms of a positive discharge plateau and low charge ***,the assembled batteries also present a high discharge capacity and a long cycle life(exceeding 283 cycles).The density functional theory(DFT)calculations also corroborate the assertion that the ru-N/C catalyst exhibits robust electronic coupling transfer and superior bifunctional *** such,our work demonstrates that this type of open-structured ru-N/C matrix is promising for fabricating high-performance quasi solid-state Li-O_(2)batteries.

We demonstrated a novel method to measure the unloaded quality factor(Q factor) of high-Q resonant cavities. This method was used to obtain data with low errors and calculate the unloaded Q factor. This procedure was more reliable than traditional methods. The data required for the method were near the resonant frequency,not at the half-power points of the reflection coefficient curve or Smith chart. We applied the new method to measure a resonant cavity with an unloaded Q factor of^100,000, obtaining good agreement between the measured and theoretical results.

Photocatalytic oxygen reduction for hydrogen peroxide （H2O2） synthesis presents a green and costeffective production ***,achieving highly selective H2O2synthesis remains challenging,necessitating precise control over free radical reaction pathways and minimizing undesirable oxidative ***,we report for the visible light-driven simultaneous co-photocatalytic reduction of O2to H2O2and oxidation of biomass using the atomic rubidium-nitride modified carbon nitride（CNRb）.The optimized CNRb catalyst demonstrates a record photoreduction rate of 8.01 mM h-1for H2O2generation and photooxidation rate of 3.75 mM h-1for furfuryl alcohol to furoic acid,achieving a remarkable solar-to-chemical conversion （SCC） efficiency of up to 2.27%.Experimental characterizations and DFT calculation disclosed that the introducing atomic Rb–N configurations allows for the high-selective generation of superoxide radicals while suppressing hydroxyl free radical *** is because the Rb–N serves as the new alternative site to perceive a stronger connection position for O2adsorption and reinforce the capability to extract protons,thereby triggering a high selective redox product *** study holds great potential in precisely regulating reactive radical processes at the atomic level,thereby paving the way for efficient synthesis of H2O2coupled with biomass valorization.

Multi-layer multi-pass friction rolling additive manufacturing of Al alloy:Toward complex large-scale high-performance components

At present,the emerging solid-phase friction-based additive manufacturing technology,including friction rolling additive man-ufacturing(FRAM),can only manufacture simple single-pass *** this study,multi-layer multi-pass FRAM-deposited alumin-um alloy samples were successfully prepared using a non-shoulder tool *** material flow behavior and microstructure of the over-lapped zone between adjacent layers and passes during multi-layer multi-pass FRAM deposition were studied using the hybrid 6061 and 5052 aluminum *** results showed that a mechanical interlocking structure was formed between the adjacent layers and the adja-cent passes in the overlapped center *** friction and rolling of the tool head led to different degrees of lateral flow and plastic deformation of the materials in the overlapped zone,which made the recrystallization degree in the left and right edge zones of the over-lapped zone the highest,followed by the overlapped center zone and the non-overlapped *** tensile strength of the overlapped zone exceeded 90%of that of the single-pass deposition *** is proved that although there are uneven grooves on the surface of the over-lapping area during multi-layer and multi-pass deposition,they can be filled by the flow of materials during the deposition of the next lay-er,thus ensuring the dense microstructure and excellent mechanical properties of the overlapping *** multi-layer multi-pass FRAM deposition overcomes the limitation of deposition width and lays the foundation for the future deposition of large-scale high-performance components.

In mountainous areas,landslides induced by destructive earthquakes are one of the main causes of human casualties,which is an important link in the chain of earthquake ***-triggered landslides are mainly controlled by three factors,namely seismic property,topography,and *** studies have been conducted on these controlling factors of earthquake-triggered ***,little is known about the effect of coseismic displacement on the distribution of landslides under different slope aspects and slope angles,hindering our understanding of the mechanism of inducing landslides by the combination of surface displacement and slope geometry at the local scale and leading to controversial opinions about the abnormal number of earthquake-triggered landslides in several ***,we took the 2008 Wenchuan M_(w) 7.9 earthquake in China,the 2015 Gorkha M_(w) 7.8 earthquake in Nepal,and the 2016 Kaikōura M_(w) 7.8 earthquake in New zealand as examples to investigate the relationship between the distribution of large earthquake-triggered landslides and the three-dimensional (3D)coseismic displacement *** divided the landslide-prone area around the epicenter into regular grids and calculated the 3D coseismic displacement in each grid according to the radar satellite images and slip distribution ***,the 3D coseismic displacement was projected to two coordinate systems related to the slope where the landslides were located for statistical *** determined that the surface uplift perpendicular to the slope is more likely to induce landslides,particularly when combined with large slope ***,the number of landslides will be significantly reduced where the subsidence *** of uplift or subsidence,landslides are more likely to occur when the direction of coseismic horizontal displacement is far from the *** larger the slope angles are,the greater the effects of horizontal displacement and slope aspect.A dominant
