Weak signal reception is a very important and challenging problem for communication systems especially in the presence of non-Gaussian noise,and in which case the performance of optimal linear correlated receiver degrades *** at this,a novel uncorrelated reception scheme based on adaptive bistable stochastic resonance(ABSR)for a weak signal in additive Laplacian noise is *** analyzing the key issue that the quantitative cooperative resonance matching relationship between the characteristics of the noisy signal and the nonlinear bistable system,an analytical expression of the bistable system parameters is *** this basis,by means of bistable system parameters self-adaptive adjustment,the counterintuitive stochastic resonance(SR)phenomenon can be easily generated at which the random noise is changed into a benefit to assist signal ***,it is demonstrated that approximately 8dB bit error ratio(BER)performance improvement for the ABSR-based uncorrelated receiver when compared with the traditional uncorrelated receiver at low signal to noise ratio(SNR)conditions varying from-30dB to-5dB.

The precipitation kinetics ofγ'-Ni_(3)(Al,Ta)phase and creep properties of Ni-15Al-x Ta at.%superalloys are investigated by the crystal plasticity phase-field *** results show that the high Ta content brings a lower creep strain for the deceleration and steady creep stage,while the creep lifetime is *** large external strain intensifies the creep damage and shortens the creep life of Ni-15Al-3Ta at.%*** kinetics evolution and elements distribution are revealed in the quaternary Ni-10Al-8.5Cr-xT a(x=1.5 at.%,2.0 at.%,2.5 at.%)superalloys by the multi-component phase-field *** anti-phase boundary(APB)changes the coarsening mechanism ofγ'phase,and Ta promotes the precipitation ofγ'phase with an increasing volume fraction and particle *** composition difference betweenγ'andγphases increases with the rising of Ta content,the strong partitioning of Ta toγ'phase strengthens the partitioning of Ni and Cr toγmatrix,and Ta shows a superiority than Al in the lattice site occupation of L1_(2)-Ni_(3)(Al,X)*** an importantγ'phase forming element,the optimization of Ta content is essential for improving the mechanical properties of Ni-based superalloys.

OBJECTIVE: To assess the efficacy and safety of Neiguan(PC6) acupoint acustimulation in preventing chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting(CINV),especially for patients with guideline-inconsistent CINV prophylaxis(GICP) due to personal reasons METHODS: From January 2021 to December 2021, 373 patients suffered from solid malignancy were recruited according to the inclusion criteria. Complete response(no emesis and no rescue medication use) rate during the overall phase(0-120 h of each chemo-cycle) was the primary assessment of CINV control. The Functional living Index-Emesis(FliE) questionnaire was investigated among these patients as a secondary 'quality of life' objective to assess the impact of CINV on patients' daily life by recording score of nausea and vomiting. RESULTS: With acustimulation of Neiguan(PC6) acupuncture point through a portable, noninvasive and user-friendly device, in terms of complete response rate and scores in nausea/vomiting by FliE questionnaire, patients achieve a better outcome in highly emetogenic chemotherapy(HEC) induced CINV, especially GICP subgroup. Meanwhile, analysis also demonstrated this tendency existed in other patients with HEC/GCCP(guideline consistent CINV prophylaxis) and moderate emetogenic chemotherapy, although the difference was not significant. CONCLUSION: Considering advantages of Neiguan(PC6) acustimulation such as noninvasive, covered by medical insurance and few side effects, we believe it would be an ideal auxiliary tool in CINV control, especially in patients who receive highly emetogenic chemoprotocol and are reluctant to GCCP for economic reasons.

Auxetic metamaterials,which exhibit the negative Poisson’s ratio(NPR)effect,have found wide applications in many engineering ***,their high porosity inevitably weakens their bearing capacity and impact *** improve the energy absorption efficiency of auxetic honeycombs,a novel vertex-based hierarchical star-shaped honeycomb(VSH)is designed by replacing each vertex in the classical star-shaped honeycomb(SSH)with a newly added self-similar *** analytical model is built to investigate the Young’s modulus of VSH,which shows good agreement with experimental results and numerical *** in-plane dynamic crushing behaviors of VSH at three different crushing velocities are investigated,and empirical formulas for the densification strain and plateau stress are *** results reveal more stable deformation modes for VSH,attributed to the addition of self-similar star-shaped ***,compared with SSH under the same relative densities,VSH exhibits better specific energy absorption and higher plateau ***,VSH is verified to be a better candidate for energy absorption while maintaining the auxetic *** study is expected to provide a new design strategy for auxetic honeycombs.

With the rapid development of oil,energy,power and other industries,CO_(2) emissions rise sharply,which will cause a large amount of CO_(2) in the air be absorbed by the ocean and lead to ocean *** growth and development of organisms can be seriously affected by acidified *** esculenta is a mollusk with high nutritional and economic value and is widely cultured in offshore waters of *** are the early life forms of the organism and are more vulnerable to changes in the external *** low pH will lead to some adverse reactions in larvae,which will affect metabolism,immune response and other life *** this study,we sequenced the transcriptome of *** subjected to acidified seawater stress and identified 1072differentially expressed genes(DEGs).The detected atypical expression of DEGs substantiates cellular malformation and translocation in *** under low pH ***,this also substantiates the notable impact of ocean acidification on *** DEGs were used for functional enrichment analysis of GO and KEGG,and the top twenty items of the biological process classification in GO terms and 11 KEGG signaling pathways were significantly ***,the constructed proteinprotein interaction network(PPI)was used to analyze protein-protein interactions,and 12 key DEGs and 3 hub genes were *** reliability of 12 genes was verified by quantitative RT-PCR.A comprehensive analysis of the KEGG signaling pathway and PPI revealed that ocean acidification leads to abnormalities in lipid metabolism in *** larvae,which can lead to cancer development and metastasis,accompanied by some degree of *** results of the study will help to further investigate the physiological processes of *** when stimulated by ocean acidification,and provide a reference to cope with the captive breeding of *** affected by acidification.

Vanadium and its derivatives are used in various industries,including steel,metallurgy,pharmaceuticals,and aerospace *** China has massive reserves of stone coal resources,these resources have low ***,the effective extraction and recovery of metallic vanadium from stone coal is an important way to realize the efficient resource utilization of stone coal vanadium ***,Bacillus mucilaginosus was selected as the leaching *** vanadium leaching rate reached 35.5%after 20 d of bioleaching under optimal operating *** cumulative vanadium leaching rate in the contact group reached 35.5%,which was higher than that in the noncontact group(9.3%).The metabolites of ***,such as oxalic,tartaric,citric,and malic acids,dominated in bioleaching,accounting for 73.8%of the vanadium leaching ***,during leaching,the presence of stone coal stimulated the expression of carbonic anhydrase in bacterial cells,and enzyme activity increased by 1.335-1.905 *** activity positively promoted the production of metabolite organic acids,and total organic acid content increased by 39.31 mg·L^(-1),resulting in a reduction of 2.51 in the pH of the leaching system with stone *** effect favored the leaching of vanadium from stone *** force microscopy illustrated that bacterial leaching exacerbated corrosion on the surface of stone coal beyond 10 *** study provides a clear and promising strategy for exploring the bioleaching mechanism from the perspective of microbial enzyme activity and metabolites.

The tacticity of vinyl polymers is a key factor affecting the properties of ***,organic Brønsted acids have been demonstrated as effective catalysts for the development of highly stereoselective cationic reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer(RAFT)polymerizations of vinyl ethers,in which the use of RAFT agents could allow the control the molecular weight and tacticity of polymer products ***,the effect of RAFT agents on the tacticity-regulation remains elusive and lacks of *** this study,we synthesized four types of RAFT agents and evaluated their influence in the stereoselective cationic polymerization of isobutyl vinyl ether in the presence of PADI as a Brønsted acid catalyst,which unveils that the Z group of RAFT agents could not only affect the polydispersity of the products,but also exert a profound effect on the *** extensive screening of the RAFT agents,high stereoregularity(isotacticity,90%m)was obtained when using dithiocarbonate ester-type RAFT agents with a benzyloxy Z group.

Rechargeable sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)are considered as the next-generation secondary *** performance of SIB is determined by the behavior of its electrode surface and the electrode–electrolyte interface during charging and ***,the characteristics of these surfaces and interfaces should be analyzed to realize large-scale energy storage systems with high energy density and long-cycle *** various studies have investigated the properties of electrode materials,few studies have focused on the construction of stable and efficient SIB interfaces,and even fewer have explored the mechanisms of interfacial effects;however,the strategies of regulating interfacial effects are yet to be completely ***,the results obtained thus far are insufficient to draw systematic *** present study reviews the literature on the mechanism of interfacial effects in Na+storage *** interfaces in a sodium-ion storage device include a heterogeneous interface between electrode materials,a solid electrolyte interphase,and a cathode electrolyte *** interfacial effects during the intercalation,transformation,and alloy reactions and the resulting overall battery performance were theoretically *** this review,we aim to provide a theoretical basis for optimizing the structures of electrode surface and electrode–electrolyte interface to optimize the performance of *** addition,the challenges of investigating interfacial effects and several possible helpful methods and opportunities for studying the mechanisms of interfacial effects in SIBs will be presented.

Immunogenic death is a form of programmed cell death that is common in the development and progression of ***,its impact on tumor progression differs depending on the location of the ***,it also plays an important role in antitumor immunity because the process of immunogenic death can release substances that activate immunity.1 Therefore,in this study,the key mechanism of mediating immunogenic death in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)was found from the excavation of the immunogenic death characteristics of pan-cancer and the in-depth investigation of its effects on different tumor types(Fig.1A).
