Perovskite-type a0.5Sr0.5Co0.8Fe0.1R0.1O3-δ （R=Al, Mn, Fe, Ce, Cr, Ni, Co） oxide membranes were ex- ploited and synthesized. Oxygen behavior, order-disorder transition and phase stability of these composite oxides were investigated by combined analysis of X-ray diffraction （XRD）, temperature programmed desorp- tion （TPD）, thermogravimetric-differential thermal analysis （TG-DTA）. Oxygen permeation through these membranes was studied by the gas chromatography （GC） method using a high-temperature permeation cell in a wide temperature range from 700 to 950℃. High permeation fluxes were observed for these materials. The high permeation flux was about 3.19 ***-2 under air/He gradients at 950℃, which was achieved for a0.5Sr0.5Co0.8Fe0.1R0.1O3-δ（BSCFNiO） membrane. The results of analysis showed no phase transition for BSCFNiO oxide with increasing temperature and XRD pattern of this material after O2-TPD indicated to sustain a pure perovskite structure after oxygen permeation process.

Dear Editor,The first cases of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-Co V-2)in Iran were identified in Qom on February 19,2020,which soon spread throughout the country(Yavarian et al.2020).As of May 12,2021,2,691,352 confirmed cases of COVID-19(the disease caused by SARS-Co V-2)and 75,568 associated deaths have been reported in the country by Iran Ministry of Health.

Purpose:Obesity is a complex multifactorial disease with increasing prevalence *** present study was conducted,since there were different results on the effect of obesity on the prognosis of patients with moderate and severe brain trauma,and the issue was less ***:The present descriptive-analytical study was conducted in 2 hospitals,Al-zahra and Kashani in year *** with Glasgow coma scale (GCS) score of 9 -12 (moderate concussion) and patients with a GCS score of < 8 (severe concussion) who consented to participate in the study were included in the *** who died;had serious injuries related to the chest,abdomen,pelvis,spine,and organs,in addition to the concussion;had a part of their body amputated during the same incident;received medications;or had diseases which caused obesity like diabetes were excluded from the ***’ height and weight were extracted for calculating the body mass index (BMI).Their functional independences were measured at admission and discharge according to the Glasgow outcome scaleextended (GOSE) *** the data were analyzed in SPSS ***:This study examined a total of 287 traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients (251 with moderate concussion and 36 with severe concussion).In total,91 (36.3%) patients with moderate TBI had a lower BMI,and 14 (38.9%) patients with severe TBI had a constant *** was a significant difference between the mean changes of BMI and the GOSE,functional independence measure (FIM) motor (p =0.006),FIM cognitive (p =0.023),and FIM total scores (p =0.002) in patients with severe TBI;however,significant difference was found only between the mean changes of BMI,GOSE and FIM motor scores (p=0.001) in patients with moderate ***:BMI is a risk factor affecting treatment results in patients with TBI,which should be controlled.

Background and Objectives: Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection is ubiquitous all around the world. Tonsils seem to be candidate replication sites for EBV, and these tissues can be infected acutely or chronically. Some studies reported an association between EBV infection and tonsillar hypertrophy. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the presence and copy number of the EBV genome in tonsil tissue specimens of patients with tonsillar ***: A cross-sectional study was performed on 50 fresh tonsil tissue samples from children, who underwent tonsillectomy because of tonsillar hypertrophy. Patients'' tonsil tissues were evaluated using real-time polymerase chain reaction for EBV genome and viral load. Finally, the results were analyzed using SPSS ***: EBV genome was detected in 58% (29/50) of tonsillar tissues. The relationship between EBV genome detection rate and age groups was in the statistical significance range (P = 0.051). Among 29 positive cases, the average EBV viral load was (3.1 × 105) copy/g ± (0.5 × 105) copy/g. No significant difference was observed among different sex and age groups for EBV viral ***: Herein, EBV genome detection could support the colonization of EBV in the tonsils, which may have a direct or indirect association with the pathogenesis of tonsillar hypertrophy.
