Drought is the major detrimental environmental factor for wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)*** exploration of genetic patterns underlying drought tolerance is of great *** we report the gene actions controlling the phenological traits using the line×tester model studying 27 crosses and 12 parents under normal irrigation and drought *** results interpreted via multiple analysis(mean performance,correlations,principal component,genetic analysis,heterotic and heterobeltiotic potential)disclosed highly significant differences among *** phenological waxiness traits(glume,boom,and sheath)were strongly *** leaf area exhibits a positive association with peduncle and spike length under *** growing degree days(heat-units)greatly influence spikelets and grains per spike,however,the grain yield/plant was significantly reduced(17.44 g to 13.25 g)under *** principal components based on eigenvalue indicated significant PCs(first-seven)accounted for 79.9%and 73.9%of total variability under normal irrigation and drought,*** investigated yield traits showed complex genetic *** genetic advance confronted a moderate to high heritability for spikelets/spike and grain yield/*** traits conditioned by dominant genetic effects in normal irrigation were inversely controlled by additive genetic effects under drought and vice *** magnitude of dominance effects for phenological and yield traits,i.e.,leaf twist,auricle hairiness,grain yield/plant,spikelets,and grains/spike suggests that selection by the pedigree method is appropriate for improving these traits under normal irrigation conditions and could serve as an indirect selection index for improving yield-oriented traits in wheat populations for drought ***,the phenotypic selection could be more than effective for traits conditioned by additive genetic effects under *** suggest five significant cross combinations base

A new metabolite,named seimatoric acid（1）,representing a new oxobutanoic acid derivative has been isolated from Seimatosporium sp., in addition to four known compounds viz.,2-hydroxymethyl-4β,5α,6β-trihydroxycyclohex-2-enone（2）,（-）-phyllostine（3）,（＋）-epiepoxydon（4） and（＋）-epoxydon monoacetate（5）.Similarly one new benzoic acid derivative,named colletonoic acid（6） was isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction of Colletotrichum *** structures of the new compounds were elucidated by detailed ^1 H NMR,^13C NMR,COSY,*** spectroscopic analysis,and *** acid（1）was also isolated from another taxonomical unidentified fungal strain 4295 in *** structures of the known compounds were elucidated by their spectral data comparison to literature *** studies showed that colletonoic acid（6） showed good antibacterial,antifungal,and antialgal activities.

Response of Yield and Related Attributes of Upland Cotton to Weather Variables

Cotton growth and development is effected by various ecological issues like temperature fluctuations, distribution and quantity of rainfall, relative humidity and winds which are the climate change attributes. A field experiment was carried out to find out the response of cotton to weather variables in terms of total variation in yield and quality. The effect of planting times and thermal temperatures (cumulative heat units) on yield of 4 cotton cultivars viz;CIM-600, CIM-616, CIM-622 & CRIS-641 was evaluated. Plants were sown on 6 planting times during the year 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 in an experiment conducted in randomized complete block design having three replications. Cotton cultivars depicted significant variances for number of bolls plant-1, boll weight and seed cotton yield. The cultivar CIM-616 depicted the highest seed cotton yield of 2083.60 kg·ha-1 on interpretation of highest bolls and boll weight. Maximum seed cotton yield was noted in planting time from 1st April to 15th April whereas early and late planting decreases the seed cotton yield on account of less accretion of cumulative heat units. Regression analysis depicted that rise of one unit (15 days) from early to optimal date (15th March to 15th April) enhanced the seed cotton yield by 93.76 kg·ha-1 (y = -93.764x2 + 521.04x + 1364). Delayed planting also reduces the seed cotton yield with the same ratio. It is therefore established that cotton must be cultivated from 1st April to 1st May to harvest good production in this type of climate.

Material functionalities strongly depend on the stoichiometry,crystal structure,and *** we demonstrate an approach of amorphous nonstoichiometric inhomogeneous oxides to realize tunable ferromagnetism and electrical transport at room *** order to verify the origin of the ferromagnetism,we employed a series of structural,chemical,and electronic state *** with electron microscopy and transport measurements,synchrotron-based grazing incident wide angle X-ray scattering,soft X-ray absorption and circular dichroism clearly reveal that the roomtemperature ferromagnetism originates from the In0.23Co0.77O1-v,amorphous phase with a large tunable range of oxygen *** room-temperature ferromagnetism is tunable from a high saturation magnetization of 500 emu cm-3 to below 25 emu cm-3,with the evolving electrical resistivity from5×103μΩ cm to above 2.5×105 μΩ *** nano-crystallization emerges with decreasing oxygen vacancies,driving the system towards non-ferromagnetism and insulating *** work unfolds the novel functionalities of amorphous nonstoichiometric inhomogeneous oxides,which opens up new opportunities for developing spintronic materials with superior magnetic and transport properties.

基于区域服务贸易协定的不断签署和离岸服务外包发展的重要性,本文从理论上探讨了区域服务贸易协定及其承诺深度对离岸服务外包的影响机制。在实证上,本文选取中国签署的九个自贸区作为处理组,采用合成控制法并结合引力模型进行实证评估。本研究认为,区域服务贸易协定主要通过降低服务贸易壁垒、契约环境不完全性以及服务贸易政策不确定性,进而促进离岸服务外包承接,其承诺深度越大,则促进效应越明显。实证结果表明:区域服务贸易协定使得中国的离岸服务外包承接额平均增加了12.67千万美元,增长率为19.22%,且不同自贸区的承接效应存在异质性;区域服务贸易协定每增加一个部门的开放,会使中国离岸服务外包承接额至少提升9.77%。此外,本文采用敏感性分析和倾向得分匹配双重差分(PSM-DID)方法验证了合成控制结果的稳健性。

AIM： To undertake analysis of hepatitis A viral load, alanine aminotransferase （ALT）, and viral genotypes with duration of viremia, and to correlate these parameters with CD4^＋/ CD8^＋ lymphocyte populations that control cell-mediated immunity. METHODS： Cell counts were carried out using fresh whole blood collected in EDTA vials using a fluorescence activated cell sorter. Hepatitis A virus （HAV） RNA was extracted from blood serum, reverse transcribed into cDNA and quantified by Real-Time polymerase chain reaction and was genotyped. RESULTS： Among 11 patients, 10 could be analyzed completely. Of these, 3 had severe acute hepatitis （s-AH） and the remainder had a self-limited acute hepatitis A （AHA）, with one patient with fulminant disease （encephalopathy Grade IV） dying on the 4^th d. The ALT level was significantly higher both in AHA （1070.9±894.3; P = 0.0014） and s-AH （1713.9±886.3; P = 0.001） compared to normal controls （23.6±7.2）. The prothrombin time in s-AH patients （21.0 ±2.0; P=0.02） was significantly higher than in AHA （14.3±1.1;P = 0.44）. The CD4^＋/CD8^＋ ratio in AHA patients （1.17 ＋ 0.11; P = 0.22） and s-AH （0.83 ＋ 0.12; P = 0.0002） were lower than seen in normal healthy controls （1.52）. Self-limited cases had peak viral load at the beginning of analysis while in s-AH patients this occurred at the 15TM or 30^th d. In acute and severe groups, one patient each belonged to genotype IA, with the remaining 8 cases belonging to genotype IIIA. The only fulminant hepatic failure case belonged to genotype IA. HAV viral load and AIT values collected during the entire course of the selflimited infection were directly correlated but this was not the case for s-AH patients.CONCLUSION： Based on a small-scale study, the persistently higher viral load of s-AH might be due to diminished cellular immunity and hemolysis. The duration of viremia was dependent on the host, as the viral genotype had no apparent role in clinical outcome of AVH and s-AH cases.

Economics of Residues Incorporation and Phosphorus Application for Direct Seeded Rice and Wheat under Saline Soil

Two-year long field study was conducted using a permanent layout to investigate the economics of crop residues incorporation (2 t·ha-1) and P application (0, 40, 80 and 120 kg P2O5 ha-1) to directly sowing of rice and wheat crops gown under naturally salt-affected calcareous soil (ECe = 4.59 dS m-1;pHs = 8.38;SAR = 6.57 (mmolc L-1)1/2;CaCO3 = 3.21%;Extractable P = 4.07 mg·kg-1;sandy clay loam) at farmers field in district Hafizabad during the year 2012-13. Split plot design (crop residues in main plots and P application in sub plots) was followed with three replications. Agronomic data on growth and yield were collected at the time of each crop maturity. Maximum growth and yield of both the crops were harvested from the plots where P2O5 was applied @ 80 kg·ha-1 along with crop residues incorporation. On an average of two years, maximum paddy (3.26 t·ha-1) and wheat grain (3.56 t·ha-1) yield were produced with P application @ 80 kg P2O5 ha-1 along with crop residues incorporation. Although, the yield harvested with this treatment (80 kg P2O5 ha-1 + crop residues) performed statistically equal to 120 kg P2O5 ha-1 without crop residues incorporation during both the years, however, on an average of two years, grain yield of directly sowing rice and subsequent wheat was significantly superior (22% and 24% respectively) than that of higher P rate (120 kg·ha-1) without crop residues. Overall, continuous two-year crop residues incorporation further increased (17%) paddy yields during the follow up year of crop harvest. Economic analyses of both the crops were carried out to choose the best treatment with adequate economic benefits as compared to those without crop residue incorporation. Maximum net benefit of Rs = 108,680/- for direct seeded rice and Rs = 99,362/- for wheat grown with 80 kg P2O5 ha-1 application under crop residues incorporation was determined. Objective: The local regulations for conducting experimental and clinical cell therapy studies are dependent on the national and cultural approach to the issue, and may have many common aspects as well as differences with the regulations in other *** study reflects the latest national aspects of cell therapy in Iran and relevant regulations. Methods: The following topics are discussed in the article including sources of cell harvest, regulations for cell disposal, stem cell manufacturing, and economic aspects of stem cell, based on current practice in Iran. Results: All cell therapy trials in Iran are required to strictly abide with the ethical codes, national and local regulations, and safety requirements, as well as considering human rights and respect. Adherence to these standards has facilitated the conduct of human cell therapy trials for research, academic advancement, and therapy. Conclusions: The cell therapy trials based on the aforementioned regulations may be assumed to be ethical and they are candidates for clinical translations based on safety and efficacy issues.
