Conventional flat planting is commonly used for growing wheat in Pakistan and the crop is irrigated by flood irrigation, but it leads to ineffective use of applied nitrogen owing to poor aeration and leaching and volatilization losses. The practice also results in greater crop lodging, lower water use efficiency, and crusting of the soil surface. In contrast, bed planting of wheat not only saves water but improves fertilizer use efficiency and grain yield. Three years of pooled data from the present study showed that wheat planting on beds and nitrogen application at 120 kg ha-1produced 15.06% higher grain yield than flat planting at the same nitrogen rate. Similarly, 25.04%, 15.02%, 14.59%, and 29.83% higher nitrogen uptake, nitrogen use, and agronomic and recovery efficiencies, respectively, were recorded for bed compared to flat planting. Wheat planting on beds with a nitrogen application of80 kg ha-1gave a yield similar to that of flat planting with 120 kg ha-1nitrogen. However,the economic return was 29% higher in bed planting as compared to flat planting, when nitrogen was applied at 120 kg ha-1.

Eurycoma longifolia Jack(***) is a well-recognized traditional herbal medicine that offers a wide dynamic range of biomedical applications including anti-osteoporotic, anticancer, anti-proliferative, anti-malarial, antimicrobial, antioxidant, aphrodisiac, antiinflammatory, anxiolytic, anti-diabetic, anti-rheumatism and anti-ulcer *** review aims to overview the pharmacokinetic and a pharmacodynamic algorithm of *** and its bioactive *** of pharmacokinetic profile revealed that *** exhibit higher bioavailability, high volume of distribution, slow elimination rate, and does not show inhibitory effects on cytochrome P450 *** has been used, alone or in combination with other pharmacological agents, in the form of crude extracts, standard extracts, or decoctions of different plant parts(i.e., herbs, shrubs, stem, leaves, and roots) for the treatment of various ailments in animals and *** various bioactive constituents, eurycomanone has been found to be the most remarkable, super-stable, versatile, and most potent phytochemical(isolated or extracted from root extracts) against various types of animals and human *** on its well-established pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic profiles, we suggested that *** can be a well-accepted complementary and alternative medicine for the treatment of different types of human ailments.

TiAlNb based intermetallic alloys,a potential competitor for next-generation super alloys,are susceptible to high-temperature embrittlement due to nucleation of a metastable single B2 phase in the fusion zone(FZ)during laser beam welding(LBW).In this study,a high entropy alloy(HEA),Ti-Hf-Zr-Cu-Ni,was self-developed and introduced as an interlayer into laser beam welded joint(LBWJ)of Ti-22 Al-27 Nb to analyze its impact on the evolution of microstructure in the weld zone(WZ)and subsequently on joint *** examination was carried out through electron probe micro analysis(EPMA),electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD)analysis,high-resolution scanning transmission electron microscopy(HRSTEM)comprising bright field(BF),selective area electron diffraction(SAED)and high angle annular dark-field(HAADF)*** of the HEA into FZ of LBWJ triggered heterogenous nucleation during solidification,resultantly,fine-grained B2 with a greater proportion of high angle grain boundaries(HAGBs)was *** of Ti-22 Al-27 Nb LBWJ,prepared with an interlayer of HEA,was composed of planar,cellular,columnar and equiaxed dendritic grains;a solidification mode which was different from that observed in LBWJ prepared without adulteration of the *** impact of heterogenous nucleation during epitaxial solidification on mechanical properties was established through micro vickers hardness mapping and tensile test,conducted at room *** average hardness,343.5 HV,in the FZ of LBWJ prepared with an interlayer of HEA,was compatible with that of base material(BM),345 *** ultimate tensile strength(UTS),1062 MPa,and percentage elongation,11.2%,of the HEA tempered LBWJ were found in close approximation with that of BM,1060 MPa and 13.4%,respectively.A ductile mode of failure was observed during tensile test of the Ti-Hf-Zr-Cu-Ni supplemented LBWJ of Ti-22 Al-27 Nb,while quasi-cleavage mode of fracture was apparent in the joint of Ti-22 Al-27 Nb welded with

Multi-functionalized and co-doped TiO_(2)/C nanocomposites were derived from the pyrolysis of Ti-MOFs at 800℃under different gaseous atmospheres and their photocatalytic performance were *** gaseous atmosphere during pyrolysis plays a critical role in determining the structural,textural,optical and physicochemical properties of the derived TiO_(2)/C composites due to the synergistic effect of nitrogen-containing species,carboxylate and sulfur functionalized porous carbon as well as N/S co-doped TiO_(2)*** the Ti-MOFs derived TiO_(2)/C composites exclusively possess homogeneously distributed TiO_(2)nanoparticles in a functionalized disc-like porous carbon matrix and demonstrate much enhanced adsorption and photodegradation performance than commercial TiO_(2)under the same *** adsorption of methylene blue(MB)in dark on these TiO_(2)/C composites are dominated with pseudo second-order kinetic model and the high adsorption capacity of MB in dark on composite TiO_(2)/C derived from MIL-125(Ti)in argon is due to its high surface area with predominant mesoporous carbon matrix in the *** composite N-O-TiO_(2)/C derived from NH2-MIL-125(Ti)in water vapor exhibited the highest photodegradation activity with 99.7%MB removal in 3 h under visible light due to the optimal anatase/rutile phasejunction,together with the formation of photoactive oxygen-rich N-O like interstitial/intraband states above the valence band of TiO_(2),as well as the presence of N-containing species and-OH/-COOH multi-functional groups with superhydrophilic nature of the *** simple one-step and easily modifiable approach can be further employed to modulate homogeneously dispersed multi-functionalized and co-doped metal oxide/carbon nanocomposites for various environment and energy-related applications.

Analysis of fish meat using gas chromatography is *** is the sensation arising from the interplay of the signals of sensing smell, taste and irritating stimuli from food *** human, flavor and nutrition are *** fish, trace amount of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are the major compounds to affect consumer’s preference, which are produced during storage and *** the present study, volatile compounds were extracted by Likens-Nickerson concurrent distillation apparatus from wild and farmed Cirrhina mrigala and Cyprinus carpio. The quantitative and qualitative estimation of volatiles was made by gas *** and farmed fish of different fish sizes were compared for these compounds (appearing in the form of peaks), which were identified from their retention time by comparing with the *** major VOCs were found in these species which included hexadecane, 3-octanol, hexanal, decane, 3-hexene-1-ol, 2-undecanone, 2-heptanone, butanal, 2-nonanone, 1-heptanal, furaldehyde, 3-methyl-1-butanal, trans-3-hexene-1-ol, octanal and *** compounds varied qualitatively and quantitatively in both wild and farmed fish of different fish sizes.

A substitution box(S-Box)is a crucial component of contemporary cryptosystems that provide data protection in block *** the moment,chaotic maps are being created and extensively used to generate these SBoxes as a chaotic map assists in providing disorder and resistance to combat cryptanalytical *** this paper,the construction of a dynamic S-Box using a cipher key is proposed using a novel chaotic map and an innovative tweaking *** projected chaotic map and the proposed tweak approach are presented for the first time and the use of parameters in their workingmakes both of these dynamic in *** tweak approach employs cubic polynomials while permuting the values of an initial S-Box to enhance its cryptographic *** of the parameters are provided using the cipher key and a small variation in values of these parameters results in a completely different unique *** analysis and exploration confirmed that the projected chaoticmap exhibits a significant amount of chaotic *** security assessment in terms of bijectivity,nonlinearity,bits independence,strict avalanche,linear approximation probability,and differential probability criteria are utilized to critically investigate the effectiveness of the proposed S-Box against several *** proposed S-Box’s cryptographic performance is comparable to those of recently projected S-Boxes for its adaption in real-world security *** comparative scrutiny pacifies the genuine potential of the proposed S-Box in terms of its applicability for data security.

The values of refractive index (n) for silicate glasses (silica, soda lime and borosilicate 7059) are decreased from 1.5119 to 1.5111, 1.5086 to 1.5065 and 1.5296 to 1.5281, respectively;and the optical band gap (Eg) is increased from 9.8 to 9.81 eV, 9.845 to 9.88 eV and 9.56 to 9.58 eV, respectively over the temperature range 295 - 473 K using ellipsometer at wavelength 632.8 nm. While n is decreased from 1.5276 to 1.5274, 1.5074 to 1.5070 and from 1.5283 to 1.5281, respectively;and Eg is increased from 9.59 to 9.592 eV, 9.862 to 9.870 eV, and 9.574 to 9.58 eV, respectively over the temperature range 297 - 322 K using Abbe refractometer at wavelength 589.3 nm. The values of oxide ion polarizability [αo2- (n) and αo2-(Eg)] regarding silica, soda lime and borosilicate 7059 glasses are decreased from 1.3427 to 1.3408, 1.6014 to 1.5941, 1.4329 to 1.4193, respectively over the temperature range 295 - 473 K using ellipsometer;and are decreased from 1.3786 to 1.3764, 1.5991 to 1.5969, 1.4297 to 1.4191, respectively over the temperature range 297 - 322 K using Abbe refractometer. Similarly, the values of optical basicity [A (n) and A (Eg)] of silica, soda lime, and borosilicate 7059 glasses are decreased from 0.4272 to 0.4245, 0.6271 to 0.6224, 0.5045 to 0.4933, respectively over the temperature range 295 - 473 K using ellipsometer;and are decreased from 0.4586 to 0.4567, 0.6256 to 0.6242, 0.5018 to 0.4930, respectively over the temperature range 297 - 322 K using Abbe refractometer. All the compositions in the(1-x)Mg_(0.95)Ni_(0.05)Ti_(0.98)Zr_(0.02)O_3–xCa_(0.6)La_(0.8/3)TiO_3(0 ≤ x ≤ 0.2) series were fabricated using solid state sintering route. Mg_(0.95)Ni_(0.05)Ti_(0.98)Zr_(0.02)O_3 possessed excellent microwave dielectric properties with ε_r ≈ 17.1, Q_uf_0 ≈ 195855 GHz, and τ_f ≈-46 ppm/℃. t f was tuned through zero by mixing with Ca_(0.6)La_(0.8/3)TiO_3. In the present study, τ_f ≈-2 ppm/℃ with er ≈ 23.9 and high Q_uf_0 ≈ 115870 GHz was achieved for x = 0.15, i.e., for a mixture of 85% Mg_(0.95)Ni_(0.05)Ti_(0.98)Zr_(0.02)O_3–xCa_(0.6)La_(0.8/3)TiO_3.

Entropy generation is the loss of energy in thermodynamical systems due to resistive forces,diffusion processes,radiation effects and chemical *** main aim of this research is to address entropy generation due to magnetic field,nonlinear thermal radiation,viscous dissipation,thermal diffusion and nonlinear chemical reaction in the transport of viscoelastic fluid in the vicinity of a stagnation point over a lubricated *** conservation laws of mass and momentum along with the first law of thermodynamics and Fick’s law are used to discuss the flow,heat and mass transfer,while the second law of thermodynamics is used to analyze the entropy and *** numbers of independent variables in the modeled set of nonlinear partial differential equations are reduced using similarity variables and the resulting system is numerically approximated using the Keller box *** effects of thermophoresis,Brownian motion and the magnetic parameter on temperature are presented for lubricated and rough *** local Nusselt and Sherwood numbers are documented for both linear and nonlinear thermal radiation and lubricated and rough *** representations of the entropy generation number and Bejan number for various parameters are also shown for lubricated and rough *** concentration of nanoparticles at the lubricated surface reduces with the magnetic parameter and Brownian *** entropy generation declines for thermophoresis diffusion and Brownian motion when lubrication effects are *** is concluded that both entropy generation and the magnitude of the Bejan number increase in the presence of *** current results present many applications in the lubrication phenomenon,heating processes,cooling of devices,thermal engineering,energy production,extrusion processes etc.
