Background:The mortality of cardiovascular disease is constantly rising,and novel biomarkers help us predict residual *** study aimed to evaluate the predictive value of serum homocysteine (HCY) levels on prognosis in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).Methods:The 419 consecutive patients with STEMI,treated at one medical center,from March 2010 to December 2015 were retrospectively *** blood samples were obtained within 24 h of admission and HCY concentrations were measured using an enzymatic cycling *** patients were divided into high HCY level (H-HCY) and low HCY level (L-HCY) ***- and long-term outcomes were compared,as were age-based subgroups (patients aged 60 years and younger *** older than 60 years).Statistical analyses were mainly conducted by Student t-test,Chi-squared test,logistic regression,and Cox proportional-hazards ***:The H-HCY group had more males (84.6% vs.75.4%,P=0.018),and a lower prevalence of diabetes (20.2% vs.35.5%,P<0.001),compared with the L-HCY *** hospitalization,there were seven mortalities in the L-HCY group and 10 in the H-HCY group (3.3% vs.4.8%,P= 0.440).During the median follow-up period of 35.8 (26.9–46.1) months,33 (16.2%) patients in the L-HCY group and 48 (24.2%) in the H-HCY group experienced major adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events (MACCE)(P=0.120).History of hypertension (hazard ratio [HR]:1.881,95% confidence interval [CI]:1.178–3.005,P=0.008) and higher Killip class (HR:1.923,95% CI:1.419–2.607,P<0.001),but not HCY levels (HR:1.007,95% CI:0.987–1.027,P=0.507),were significantly associated with long-term ***,the subgroup analysis indicated that in older patients,HCY levels were significantly associated with long-term outcomes (HR:1.036,95% CI:1.011–1.062,P=0.005).Conclusion:Serum HCY levels did not independently predict in-hospital or long-term outcomes in patients with STEMI;however,among elderly

Prediction of indoor airflow distribution often relies on high-fidelity,computationally intensive computational fluid dynamics(CFD)*** intelligence(Al)models trained by CFD data can be used for fast and accurate prediction of indoor airflow,but current methods have limitations,such as only predicting limited outputs rather than the entire flow ***,conventional Al models are not always designed to predict different outputs based on a continuous input range,and instead make predictions for one or a few discrete *** work addresses these gaps using a conditional generative adversarial network(CGAN)model approach,which is inspired by current state-of-the-art Al for synthetic image *** create a new Boundary Condition CGAN(BC-CGAN)model by extending the original CGAN model to generate 2D airflow distribution images based on a continuous input parameter,such as a boundary ***,we design a novel feature-driven algorithm to strategically generate training data,with the goal of minimizing the amount of computationally expensive data while ensuring training quality of the Al *** BC-CGAN model is evaluated for two benchmark airflow cases:an isothermal lid-driven cavity flow and a non-isothermal mixed convection flow with a heated *** also investigate the performance of the BC-CGAN models when training is stopped based on different levels of validation error *** results show that the trained BC-CGAN model can predict the 2D distribution of velocity and temperature with less than 5%relative error and up to about 75,ooo times faster when compared to reference CFD *** proposed feature-driven algorithm shows potential for reducing the amount of data and epochs required to train the Al models while maintaining prediction accuracy,particularly when the flow changes non-linearlywith respectto an input.

We herein report a simultaneous dehalogenation and hydrogenation(DHH)reaction in Sonogashira coupling involving hexahalogenobenzene C6X6(X=I,Br),in which a halogen on the aryl polyhalide substrate was substituted by a hydrogen ***,a steric bulky terminal alkyne 5 was designed and synthesized to study the influence of the reaction conditions(e.g.,catalyst,solvent,temperature)and the halogens on the substrates C6X6 on the DHH ***,based on the optimized conditions,a terminal alkyne 6 with less steric hindrance was further synthesized to investigate the influence of alkyne on the DHH *** a result,two aromatic polyynes 7 and 8 were were further studied and *** influence produced by the alkynes and aryl polyhalides substrate provide insights into Sonogashira coupling involving terminal alkyne with huge steric hindrance and polyhalogenated aromatic hydrocarbons.

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of dietary protein concentration(12%,18%,24%,30% and 36%)on the growth performance,activity of anti-oxidative enzymes and heat shock protein 70(HSP70)transcription in the sea urchin(Strongylocentrotus intermedius)under a heat *** 112 days of feeding trial the sea urchins were heat stressed(26C)and the coelomic fluid and intestine sampled at time 0 and 15 min,2 h and 6 *** results showed that an increase in dietary protein(12%-24%),significantly increased(p<0.05)the sea urchin weight gain rate(WGR).As dietary protein increased(from 18% to 36%),the gonadosomatic index(GI)of juvenile sea urchins also significantly increased(p<0.05)from 18.0%to 22.6%.Superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity increased with dietary protein increase(12%-30%)and the enzyme activity was significantly higher(p<0.05)in the coelomic fluid of sea urchins that were fed with 30% diets when compared to 12% and 36% protein diets at all time points after the heat ***(CAT)activity showed a similar tendency with the increase in dietary protein concentration at time 0 and 15 min after the heat stress(p<0.05).Transcription of HSP70 in the intestine also showed a similar trend to SOD and was highest in the animals that were fed with 30% protein diets(p<0.05).Our results suggest that 24% protein diets could meet the requirements for growth performance but a 30% protein diet resulted in improved gonad development and anti-heat stress capacity in this sea urchin species.

在考虑电热能源互联基础上,提出了计及多时段尺度与地域分层的电热多能互补系统经济调度策略,该策略从单时段和多时段角度出发,综合考虑局域级和区域级的能量平衡关系,以实现电热多能互补系统经济调度为目标。首先,在采集局域级各类能源资源数据与信息的基础上建立母线式电、热能平衡模型;然后,提出区域级能量平衡公共母线式模型,并采用小容量机组等效思想来等效聚合同类型机组;其次,建立典型局域级电热互联能源系统模型;最后,对电热多能互补系统经济调度求解,并输出经济调度结果信息。对电热多能互补系统的经济调度的有效性与合理性通过仿真算例已经得到验证,为区域级电热多能互补系统多能互补利用、资源协调配合、经济高效运行及分析提供参考与理论指导。

BACKGROUND Studies have shown that a high-fat diet(HFD) can alter gut microbiota(GM)homeostasis and participate in lipid metabolism disorders associated with ***, regulating the construction of GM with the balance of lipid metabolism has become essential for treating obesity. Salvia miltiorrhiza extract(Sal), a common traditional Chinese medicine, has been proven effective against atherosclerosis, hyperlipidemia, obesity, and other dyslipidemia-related *** To investigate the anti-obesity effects of Sal in rats with HFD-induced obesity, and explore the underlying mechanism by focusing on GM and lipid *** Obesity was induced in rats with an HFD for 7 wk, and Sal(0.675 g/1.35 g/2.70g/kg/d) was administered to treat obese rats for 8 wk. The therapeutic effect was evaluated by body weight, body fat index, waistline, and serum lipid level. Lipid factors(cAMP, PKA, and HSL) in liver and fat homogenates were analyzed by ELISA. The effect of Sal on GM and lipid metabolism was assessed by 16S rRNAbased microbiota analysis and untargeted lipidomic analysis(LC-MS/MS),*** Sal treatment markedly reduced weight, body fat index, serum triglycerides(TG), total cholesterol(TC), low-density lipoprotein, glucose, free fatty acid, hepatic lipid accumulation, and adipocyte vacuolation, and increased serum high-density lipoprotein(HDL-C) in rats with HFD-induced obesity. These effects were associated with increased concentrations of lipid factors such as c AMP, PKA, and HSL in the liver and adipose tissues, enhanced gut integrity, and improved lipid metabolism. GM analysis revealed that Sal could reverse HFD-induced dysbacteriosis by promoting the abundance of Actinobacteriota and Proteobacteria, and decreasing the growth of Firmicutes and Desulfobacterita. Furthermore, LC-MS/MS analysis indicated that Sal decreased TGs(TG18:2/18:2/20:4, TG16:0/18:2/22:6), DGs(DG14:0/22:6, DG22:6/22:6), CL(18:2/18:1/18:1/20:0), and increased ceramides

This paper reviews the recent progress in photonic devices application of Ge-on-Si. Ge-on-Si materials and optical devices are suitable candidates for Si-based optoelectronic integration because of the mature epitaxial technique and the compatibility with Si complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor （CMOS） technology. Recently, the realities of electric-pump Ge light emitting diode （LED） and optical-pump pulse Ge laser, Ge quantum well modulator based on quantum Stark confined effect, waveguide Ge modulator based on Franz-Keldysh （FK） effect, and high performance near-infrared Ge detector, rendered the Si-based optoelectronic integration using Ge photonic devices. Ge-on-Si material is also an important platform to grow other materials on it for Si- based optoelectronic integration. InGaAs and GeSn have been grown on the Ge-on-Si. InGaAs LED and GeSn photodetector have been successfully fabricated as well.
