The aim of the present work was to show the sustainability of fibrin sealant in releasing dexamethasone and adjust the protocol for clinical application of the novel method in the treatment of Meniere’s disease (MD) and sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSHL).Gelation occurred shortly after mixing dexamethasone-containing fibrinogen with *** was constantly released for at least 16 d at a stable level after 7d in protocol 1 (low-dose),while it was robustly released within 4 d and slowed afterward until 10 d in protocol 2(high-dose).There were significant differences among the time points in Protocol 2 (p<0.01,ANOVA),and the exponential model with the formula y=15.299*e~(-0.483*t) fits the *** estimated concentration of dexamethasone released on 7 d in protocol 2 was slightly lower than that observed in protocol *** fibrin sealant is capable of constantly releasing dexamethasone with adjustable *** and minimally invasive administration of the material can be achieved in the clinic by sequential injections of the fluids using a soft-tipped catheter.

Postaurical injection of therapeutics was recently applied in clinical practice to treat inner ear diseases based on supposed existence of a direct channel from the postaurical area to the inner ear. Doubting on the associated reports and aiming to provide evidence on the inner ear uptake mechanism, the present study tracked the dynamic distribution of gadolinium-tetra-azacyclo-dodecane-tetra-acetic acid (Gd-DOTA) in rat inner ears after postaurical injection using MRI. A targeted tympanic medial wall delivery was utilized as control. The results showed that, at the early time points after postaurical injection, Gd-DOTA distributed mainly in tissues surrounding the bulla, temporal bone and skull and neck space. In the inner ear, there was gradual uptake of Gd-DOTA on both the ipsilateral and contralateral sides with equal signal intensities. There was no sign of direct channel carrying the agent from the postaurical area to the inner ear. Targeted tympanic medial wall delivery induced significantly greater uptake of Gd-DOTA in the inner ear than did postaurical injection. At 30 min post-administration, targeted tympanic medial wall delivery yielded 4.6-folds higher signal intensity than did postaurical injection. The total dose of Gd-DOTA delivered by the targeted tympanic medial wall approach was only 0.1% of that delivered by postaurical injection. In conclusion, postaurical injection is a systemic administration, which is similar to hypodermic injection, rather than a focal delivery method. By contraries, targeted tympanic medial wall delivery induces fast and abundant uptake of Gd-DOTA in the ipsilateral inner ear without significant distribution in unwanted areas.

BFOSC and YFOSC are the most frequently used instruments in the Xinglong 2.16 m telescope and Lijiang 2.4 m telescope, respectively. We developed a software package named “BYSpec”(BFOSC and YFOSC Spectra Reduction Package) dedicated to automatically reducing the long-slit and echelle spectra obtained by these two instruments. The package supports bias and flat-fielding correction, order location, background subtraction, automatic wavelength calibration, and absolute flux calibration. The optimal extraction method maximizes the signal-to-noise ratio and removes most of the cosmic rays imprinted in the spectra. A comparison with the 1D spectra reduced with IRAF verifies the reliability of the results. This open-source software is publicly available to the community.

为有效降低设施番茄生产过程中不合理施氮和灌溉带来的土壤氮素淋失,本研究应用可阻控土壤氮素淋失的物理阻隔材料、肥料增效剂、酶制剂和微生物菌剂等产品,通过设置常规施肥(FP)、优化施肥(OPT)、物理化学调控(PCT)、生物生态调控(BET)、水肥调控(WRT)和综合调控(CRT)等措施对比研究菜田最佳土壤氮素淋失控制技术,以期为设施菜田土壤氮素淋失阻控提供参考。结果表明:OPT与FP处理番茄产量持平,PCT、BET、WRT和CRT处理番茄产量比FP处理分别高4.70%、2.05%、7.93%和9.28%;WRT处理番茄纯收益最高,PCT处理最低。与FP处理相比,OPT、PCT、BET、WRT和CRT处理总氮淋失量分别降低25.6%、35.6%、34.5%、40.5%和40.9%,硝态氮分别降低31.5%、32.7%、38.4%、43.9%和49.2%,有机氮分别降低21.2%、37.7%、31.5%、38.0%和34.7%,其中以CRT处理表现最优;所有处理有机氮和硝态氮淋失量分别占总氮淋失量的55.2%~62.9%和36.7%~44.6%,铵态氮占比不足0.5%。FP处理0~100 cm土层土壤硝态氮和铵态氮含量均高于OPT处理,20~100 cm土壤硝态氮表现为WRT处理>CRT处理>BET处理>PCT处理>OPT处理。在本研究中,综合经济和环境效益,水肥调控措施可作为设施番茄土壤氮素淋失控制最佳技术进行推广应用。
