Cloud Datacenter Network(CDN)providers usually have the option to scale their network structures to allow for far more resource capacities,though such scaling options may come with exponential costs that contradict their utility ***,besides the cost of the physical assets and network resources,such scaling may also imposemore loads on the electricity power grids to feed the added nodes with the required energy to run and cool,which comes with extra costs ***,those CDNproviders who utilize their resources better can certainly afford their services at lower price-units when compared to others who simply choose the scaling *** utilization is a quite challenging process;indeed,clients of CDNs usually tend to exaggerate their true resource requirements when they lease their *** providers are committed to their clients with Service Level Agreements(SLAs).Therefore,any amendment to the resource allocations needs to be approved by the clients *** this work,we propose deploying a Stackelberg leadership framework to formulate a negotiation game between the cloud service providers and their client *** this,the providers seek to retrieve those leased unused resources from their *** is not expected from the clients,and they may ask high price units to return their extra resources to the provider’s ***,to motivate cooperation in such a non-cooperative game,as an extension to theVickery auctions,we developed an incentive-compatible pricingmodel for the returned ***,we also proposed building a behavior belief function that shapes the way of negotiation and compensation for each *** to other benchmark models,the assessment results showthat our proposed models provide for timely negotiation schemes,allowing for better resource utilization rates,higher utilities,and grid-friend CDNs.

Along with the running COVID-19 pandemic by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2,the Chikungunya virus is already known as the causative agent of re-emerging Chikungunya fever in many countries after several years of latency;and it’s certainly one of the most important clinical issues possibly due to the lack of appropriate ***,continuous study and monitoring of this disease outbreak demand attention by the relevant health *** review has been written in the light of the recently available reports on the Chikungunya virus *** genomic structure and its impact on the viral epidemiology,the possible protective immunity,and the infection mitigation strategies have been ***’s already well known that the Chikungunya virus can start infection after getting entrance into the blood circulation through the mosquito bites followed by the dissemination into the major organs like liver,brain,eye,joints and lymph nodes in order to inaugurate the ***,the occurrence of death is very rare but the extreme fatality and morbidity may occur if the patient has other underlying disease *** molecular aspects of the virus,the site-specific damages caused by the viral infection,and finally,the public awareness of such viral infection as discussed in the current review would help to maintain the public health sustainability especially in the developing countries whereby the knowledge on the required hygiene is poor.

A well-known hazardous metal and top contaminant in wastewater is hexavalent chromium. The two forms of most commonly found chromium are chromate ( CrO 4 2− ) and dichromate ( Cr 2 O 7 2− ). Leather tanning, cooling tower blow-down, plating, electroplating, rinse water sources, anodizing baths etc. are the main sources of Cr (VI) contamination. The Cr (VI) is not only non-biodegradable in the environment but also carcinogenic to living population. It is still difficult to treat Cr contaminated waste water effectively, safely, eco-friendly, and economically. As a result, many techniques have been used to treat Cr (VI)-polluted wastewater, including adsorption, chemical precipitation, coagulation, ion-exchange, and filtration. Among these practices, the most practical method is adsorption for the removal of Cr (VI) from aqueous solutions, which has gained widespread acceptance due to the ease of use and affordability of the equipment and adsorbent. It has been revealed that Fe-based adsorbents’ oxides and hydroxides have high adsorptive potential to lower Cr (VI) content below the advised threshold. Fe-based adsorbents were also discovered to be relatively cheap and toxic-free in Cr (VI) treatment. Fe-based adsorbents are commonly utilized in industry. It has been discovered that nanoparticles of Fe-, Ti-, and Cu-based adsorbents have a better capacity to remove Cr (VI). Cr (VI) was effectively removed from contaminated water using mixed element-based adsorbents (Fe-Mn, Fe-Ti, Fe-Cu, Fe-Zr, Fe-Cu-Y, Fe-Mg, etc.). Initial findings suggest that Cr (VI) removal from wastewater may be accomplished by using magnesium ferrite nanomaterials as an efficient adsorbent.

In this paper, a new statistical averaging technique is proposed for finding an optimal solution to a multi-objective linear fractional programming problem (MOLFPP) and multi-objective linear programming problem (MOLPP) by using new arithmetic averaging method and new geometric averaging method. It is significantly noticeable same characteristics among all the technique while taking maximum or minimum among all optimized values for multi-objective functions using simplex algorithm. The characteristics provided from the problems are verified by the numerical examples.

Assessment of physicochemical properties of water and their seasonal variation in an urban river in Bangladesh

To assess the magnitude of water quality decline in the Turag River of Bangladesh,this study examined the seasonal variation of physi-cochemical parameters of water,identified potential pollution sources,and clustered the monitoring months with similar *** samples were collected in four distinct seasons to evaluate temperature,pH,dissolved oxygen(DO)concentration,five-day biochemical oxygen demand(BOD 5),chemical oxygen demand(COD),electrical conductivity(EC),chloride ion(Cl^(-))concentration,total alkalinity(TA),turbidity,total dissolved solids(TDS)concentration,total suspended solids(TSS)concentration,and total hardness(TH)using standard *** analytical results revealed that 40%of water quality indices were within the permissible limits suggested by different agencies,with the exception of EC,Cl^(-)concentration,TA,turbidity,DO concentration,BOD 5,and COD in all *** analyses indicated that 52%of the contrasts were significantly different at a 95%confidence *** factor analysis presented the best fit among the parameters,with four factors explaining 94.29%of the total ***,BOD 5,COD,EC,turbidity,DO,and Cl?were mainly responsible for pollution loading and were caused by the significant amount of industrial discharge and toxicological *** cluster analysis showed the seasonal change in surface water quality,which is usually an indicator of pollution from rainfall or other ***,the values of different physico-chemical properties varied with seasons,and the highest values of pollutants were recorded in the *** the change in seasonal tem-perature and increase in rainfall,the seasonal Turag River water followed a self-refining trend as follows:rainy season>pre-winter>summer>winter.

Trace metals associated with PM10 aerosols and their variation during day and nighttime as well as during different seasons have been studied for the year 2012. PCA analysis suggested5 PCs,which accounted for 86.8% cumulative variance. PC1 accounted for 30% with a significant loading of metals of anthropogenic origin,while PC2 showed 28% variance with the loading of metals of crustal origin. These trace metals showed seasonal distinct day and night time characteristics. The concentrations of Cu,Pb,and Cd were found to be higher during nighttime in all the seasons. Only Fe was observed with significantly higher mean concentrations during daytime of all seasons except monsoon. The highest mean values of Cu,Cd,Zn,and Pb during post-monsoon might be attributed to winds advection over the regions of waste/biomass burning and industrial activities in Punjab and Haryana ***,concentration weighted trajectory analysis suggested that metals of crustal origin were contributed by long-range transport while metals of anthropogenic and industrial activities were contributed by regional/local source regions.

在人们的日常社会生活中,参加集体活动是必不可少的一部分。在群组推荐系统中,向一群用户推荐愉快的活动是非常重要的。这项工作的主要挑战是如何学习每个用户的社会影响力,以及如何使他们的相互社会影响力适应不同的群体,从而动态地调整群体的共同项目策略,以捕捉复杂的群体决策过程。然而,这些动态策略对真实而复杂的群体决策建模非常简单。此外,群成员在群中应该偶尔会有影响或负担,用户的负担在不同的群中可能会有所不同。因此,一个理想的群体推荐系统应该能够学习用户的相互偏好。为此提出了一种基于相互社会影响的群体活动推荐系统。特别是,理解个人影响的社会影响并使其共享的社会影响适应各种协会的价值机制,通过获取知识框架来开发独特而深刻的社会影响,并将用户的普遍意识和本地的社会影响和社区结构与事实相结合,以更好地提高对用户社会影响的估计。为了克服偶发群体提供的交集知识的困境和稀疏性,采用奇异值分解和神经网络嵌入的联合模型来降低数据集的稀疏性,并重构矩阵向量,从用户-项目交互和用户-用户交互两个方面进行推荐。从该模式中学习到的知识被用来向同一群组的用户推荐成组项目。采用名为豆瓣的知名事件数据集和一个名为CAMRa2011的公开可用的数据集,在其中提取了相关特征,并对其进行了相关实验。与其他工作相比,取得了最好的成果。在用户推荐系统中,超过了其他方法,HR和NDCG分别提高了8.91%和14.56%左右。此外,在群组推荐系统中,HR和NDCG分别提高了0.68%和9.93%左右。

Antioxidant Protection Mechanisms Reveal Significant Response in Drought-Induced Oxidative Stress in Some Traditional Rice of Assam, India

Drought tolerance levels and antioxidant protection mechanisms were evaluated for 21 traditional rice varieties of Assam, India, along with Sahbhagi Dhan （drought tolerant） and IR64 （drought sensitive） as controls. Drought was imposed in hydroponic culture with polyethylene glycol 6000 （PEG6000） that was initially standardized with different concentrations. All the rice varieties showed apparent decreases in growth characteristics under drought stress （initially at 15% for 7 d followed by 20% PEG6000 for 7 d in Yoshida medium）. On the basis of standard evaluation score （SES）, eight rice varieties showed high drought tolerance which were carried forward for further biochemical analyses. Based on different morpho- physiological parameters, SN03 （Bora）, SN04 （Prosad Bhog）, SN05 （Kola Joha）, SN06 （Helash Bora）, SN08 （Salihoi Bao）, SN12 （Kola Amona）, SN20 （Ronga Bora） and SN21 （Sok-Bonglong） were identified as promising drought tolerant varieties. The non-enzymatic antioxidants activities viz., glutathione, ascorbate and enzymatic antioxidant activities such as superoxide dismutase （SOD）, catalase （CAT）, guaiacol peroxidase （GPX）, ascorbate peroxidase （APX）, glutathione reductase （GR） in shoots and roots of all the selected varieties revealed significant level of protection mechanisms as compared with controls. Enhancement in activities of the overall antioxidant enzymes including SOD, GPX, CAT, GR and APX under drought stress reflects their role in the adaptation process under water stress.
