Flotation separation of smithsonite from calcite is difficult due to their similar surface *** the present study,a reagent scheme of depressant calcium lignosulphonate(CLS) and collector benzyl hydroxamic acid(BHA) was introduced in the flotation of smithsonite from *** tests revealed that the efficient flotation of smithsonite from calcite could only be obtained with the addition order of BHA before CLS,which was opposite to the widely-used order that adding depressant prior to the *** zeta potential measurements indicated that BHA selectively adsorbed onto smithsonite surface,then not allowed the CLS adsorption onto the smithsonite surface rather than calcite surface because of the steric hindrance,thereby the smithsonite surface remained hydrophobic while calcite surface became more hydrophilic after the addition of *** a result,the calcite flotation was completely depressed while the smithsonite flotation recovery was still in high value,leading to the optimal flotation separation performance.

BACKGROUND: Generally speaking, anesthesia is often used in gravid body and it has been already proved that many kind of medicine can result in malformation. OBJECTIVE: To explore embryonic skeleton development and neonatal learning and memory of rats anesthetized with pentobarbital sodium in gravid rats. DESIGN: A randomized control trial. SETTING: Laboratory Animal Center of Xuzhou Medical College. MATERIALS: A total of 80 adult female SD rats, of clean grade and weighing 220-240 g, were selected in this study. The main reagents were detailed as follows: pentobarbital sodium (Shanghai Xingzhi Chemical Plant, batch number: 921019); MG-2 maze test apparatus (Zhangjiagang Biomedical Instrument Factory); somatotype microscope (Beijing Taike Instrument Co., Ltd.). METHODS: ① A total of 160 SD rats of half males and females were selected in this study. All rats were copulated. The day that the plug was checked out in the vagina next day was looked as the first day of pregnancy. Gravid rats were divided randomly into four groups, including early anesthesia group, second anesthesia group, late anesthesia group and control group with 20 in each group. Rats in the early anesthesia group were injected with 25 mg/kg soluble pentobarbitone on the 7th day of pregnancy for once; rats in the second anesthesia group were anesthetized with 25 mg/kg soluble pentobarbitone on the 7th and the 14th days of pregnancy for once; rats in the late anesthesia group were anesthetized with 25 mg/kg soluble pentobarbitone on the 14th day of pregnancy for once; rats in the control group did not treat with anything. The time of anesthetizing was controlled in 3 to 4 hours and ether was absorbed while the time was not enough. ② Half of each group was sacrificed on day 20th of pregnancy and the fetus was taken out to be stained with alizarin red S. Kimberlite,one of the deepest known magmatic rocks on Earth,offers valuable glimpses into the deep mantle composition(Woodhead et al.,2019),craton structure(Gardiner et al.,2020),global geodynamic variation(Tappe et al.,2018),and diamond formation(Giuliani et al.,2023).The accurate determination of the emplacement of this special rock is crucial for revealing such ***,dating kimberlite is challenging due to its silica-poor,volatile-rich,strongly altered,and hybrid nature(Mitchell et al.,2019).Zircon is unsuitable for dating kimberlite and related rocks due to its preference for crystallizing in intermediate to felsic melts(Gervasoni et al.,2016)rather than silica-poor *** if present,zircon is prone to Pb loss through hydrothermal alteration(Zi et al.,2022)in a volatile-rich system like kimberlitic magmas.

Copper oxide(CuO),due to its low cost,good chemical and physical stability,has recently been given special attention as a potential candidate for antibacterial ***,developing novel CuO nanocomposites with improved antibacterial property and unraveling the interface promotion mechanism has been a fundamental challenge for ***,well-defined CuO/graphdiyne(CuO/GDY)nanostructures with uniformly anchored CuO nanoparticles(ca.4.5 nm)have been *** CuO/GDY nanostructure exhibited superior *** inactivation efficiency,which is nearly 19 times and 7.9 times higher than the bare GDY and commercial CuO,*** improved *** inactivation performance was mainly due to the increased reactive·O_(2)−species generated by the activation of molecular O2 over CuO/GDY *** findings demonstrate the efficient antibacterial activity of well-defined CuO/GDY nanostructures and provide insights on the development of efficient GDY-based antibacterial materials.

As a national cultural property,General Zhang Fei’s Temple is the largest ancient architectural complex in the Three Gorges of the Yangtze *** was built in the Han Dynasty and has a long history of nearly 2,000 *** 1994,the Chinese government launched the Three Gorges Dam project at the Yangtze River and implemented the largest relocation project for the General Zhang Fei Temple to prevent it from being *** temple was relocated 32 kilometers upstream along with the local people of Yunyang County,and the historic environment was rebuilt on the opposite side of the migrant city of New Yunyang *** temple was restored successfully and the tradition of offering sacrifices to General Zhang Fei continued in the local *** relocation project lasted for 8 years and became the largest cultural heritage conservation project of the People’s Republic of China at the end of the 20th *** paper comprehensively summarizes and reviews the project goals,implementation process,and project highlights of this relocation,so as to provide an important case reference for heritage conservation projects in the future.

Hypertension produces pathophysiological changes that are often responsible for the mortality associated with the disease. It is evident that overactive renin-angiotensin systems play a central role in the development of hypertension and target organ damage associated with hypertension. We have previously found that a novel angiotensin H receptor （AT1） vaccine-ATR12181 attenuated the development of high blood pressure （BP） in spontaneously hypertensive rat （SHR） model of human essential hypertension. Our objective was to determine whether this attenuation of high BP is associated with prevention of target organ damage induced by hypertensive state. SHRs were immunized against a peptide （coded ATR12181） from the extracelluar portion of the ATIA receptor by repeated subcutaneous injections of peptide-tetanus-toxoid complex in combination with Freund＇s adjuvant. A 64 weeks long-term observation was performed. Repeated vaccinations resulted in the induction of anti-ATR12181 antibodies. At the end of observation, vaccinated SHRs manifested lower BP, decreased cardiac hypertrophy and attenuation of kidney injuries, mRNA levels of c-los and c-jun in heart and kidneys were decreased in vaccinated SHRs. Since a self antigen was used, safety of vaccine was concerned. However, the signs of autoimmune diseases were not observed in the sections of heart and kidney. These data demonstrated that repeated immunization against a domain of the extracellular portion of the AT1 receptor was able to cause a target organ protection against hypertension. Active immunization against the AT1 receptor may be considered as a promising new strategy in the treatment of hypertension.
