Pathological vascular remodeling is a hallmark of various vascular *** research has established the significance of andrographolide in maintaining gastric vascular homeostasis and its pivotal role in modulating endothelial barrier dysfunction,which leads to pathological vascular *** dehydroandrographolide succinate(PDA),a derivative of andrographolide,has been clinically utilized in the treatment of inflammatory diseases precipitated by viral *** study investigates the potential of PDA in regulating pathological vascular *** effect of PDA on vascular remodeling was assessed through the complete ligation of the carotid artery in C57BL/6 *** approaches,including rat aortic primary smooth muscle cell culture,flow cytometry,bromodeoxyuridine(BrdU)incorporation assay,Boyden chamber cell migration assay,spheroid sprouting assay,and Matrigel-based tube formation assay,were employed to evaluate the influence of PDA on the proliferation and motility of smooth muscle cells(SMCs).Molecular docking simulations and co-immunoprecipitation assays were conducted to examine protein *** results revealed that PDA exacerbates vascular injury-induced pathological remodeling,as evidenced by enhanced neointima *** treatment significantly increased the proliferation and migration of *** mechanistic studies disclosed that PDA upregulated myeloid differentiation factor 88(MyD88)expression in SMCs and interacted with T-cadherin(CDH13).This interaction augmented proliferation,migration,and extracellular matrix deposition,culminating in pathological vascular *** findings underscore the critical role of PDA in the regulation of pathological vascular remodeling,mediated through the MyD88/CDH13 signaling pathway.

Improved STNModels and Heuristic Rules for Cooperative Scheduling in Automated Container Terminals

Improving the cooperative scheduling efficiency of equipment is the key for automated container terminals to copewith the development trend of large-scale ships. In order to improve the solution efficiency of the existing spacetimenetwork (STN) model for the cooperative scheduling problem of yard cranes (YCs) and automated guidedvehicles (AGVs) and extend its application scenarios, two improved STN models are proposed. The flow balanceconstraints in the original model are decomposed, and the trajectory constraints of YCs and AGVs are added toacquire the model STN_A. The coupling constraint in STN_A is updated, and buffer constraints are added toSTN_A so that themodel STN_B is *** the size of the problem increases, the solution speed of CPLEX becomesthe bottleneck. So a heuristic method containing three groups of heuristic rules is designed to obtain a near-optimalsolution quickly. Experimental results showthat the computation time of STN_A is shortened by 49.47% on averageand the gap is reduced by 1.69% on average compared with the original model. The gap between the solution ofthe heuristic rules and the solution of CPLEX is less than 3.50%, and the solution time of the heuristic rules is onaverage 99.85% less than the solution time of CPLEX. Compared with STN_A, the computation time for solvingSTN_B increases by 58.93% on average.

Recent studies have shown that cellular levels of polyamines(PAs)are significantly altered in neurodegenerative *** from in vivo animal and in vitro cell experiments suggests that the cellular levels of various PAs may play important roles in the central nervous system through the regulation of oxidative stress,mitochondrial metabolism,cellular immunity,and ion channel *** of PA metabolism related enzymes also contributes to neuronal injury and cognitive impairment in many neurodegenerative ***,in the current work,evidence was collected to determine the possible associations between cellular levels of PAs,and related enzymes and the development of several neurodegenerative diseases,which could provide a new idea for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases in the future.

Learning Dual-Layer User Representation for Enhanced Item Recommendation

User representation learning is crucial for capturing different user preferences,but it is also critical challenging because user intentions are latent and dispersed in complex and different patterns of user-generated data,and thus cannot be measured ***-based data models can learn user representations by mining latent semantics,which is beneficial to enhancing the semantic function of user ***,these technologies only extract common features in historical records and cannot represent changes in user ***,sequential feature can express the user’s interests and intentions that change time by *** the sequential recommendation results based on the user representation of the item lack the interpretability of preference *** address these issues,we propose in this paper a novel model with Dual-Layer User Representation,named DLUR,where the user’s intention is learned based on two different layer ***,the latent semantic layer adds an interactive layer based on Transformer to extract keywords and key sentences in the text and serve as a basis for *** sequence layer uses the Transformer model to encode the user’s preference intention to clarify changes in the user’s ***,this dual-layer user mode is more comprehensive than a single text mode or sequence mode and can effectually improve the performance of *** extensive experiments on five benchmark datasets demonstrate DLUR’s performance over state-of-the-art recommendation *** addition,DLUR’s ability to explain recommendation results is also demonstrated through some specific cases.

A multiple flame-retardant,early fire-warning,and highly sensitive thread-shaped all-fabric-based piezoresistive sensor

In the artificial intelligence age,multifunctional and intelligent fireproof fabric-based electronics are urgently ***,a novel thread-shaped all-fabric-based piezoresistive sensor(denoted as TAFPS)with properties such as flame retardancy,firewarning,and piezoresistivity is proposed,which is composed of an inner nickel-plated fabric electrode,a multifunctional double helix fabric,and an external flame-retardant encapsulation *** to the multiple flame-retardant properties of glass fiber tubular fabric,aminated carbon nanotubes(ACNTs),and ammonium polyphosphate,the char residue of the TAFPS reaches40.3 wt%at 800℃.In addition,the heat-sensitive effect of ACNTs during combustion causes a rapid decrease in the TAFPS resistance,triggering the fire alarm system within 2 ***,benefiting from the force-sensitive behavior of the double helix layer and tightly wrapped pattern of the external heat-shrinkable tubular fabric,TAFPS demonstrated a high sensitivity of4.40 kPa^(-1)(0–5.81 k Pa)and good stability for 10000 *** its excellent flame resistance,high sensitivity,and agreeable stability,the developed TAFPS can be integrated into fire suits to monitor the exercise training process and the external fire *** work offers a novel approach for fabricating all-fabric-based piezoresistive sensors in the future for fire prevention and fire alarms,with promising applications in fire protection,the Internet of Things,and smart apparel.

Regulation of interlayer channels of graphene oxide nanosheets in ultra-thin Pebax mixed-matrix membranes for CO_(2) capture

For the application of carbon capture by membrane process,it is crucial to develop a highly permeable CO_(2)-selective *** this work,we reported an ultra-thin polyether-block-amide(Pebax)mixedmatrix membranes(MMMs)incorporated by graphene oxide(GO),in which the interlayer channels were regulated to optimize the CO_(2)/N_(2) separation *** membrane preparation conditions were systematically investigated on the influence of the membrane structure and separation performance,including the lateral size of GO nanosheets,GO loading,thermal reduction temperature,and *** results demonstrated that the precisely regulated interlayer channel of GO nanosheets can rapidly provide CO_(2)-selective transport channels due to the synergetic effects of size sieving and preferential *** GO/Pebax ultra-thin MMMs exhibited CO_(2)/N_(2) selectivity of 72 and CO_(2) permeance of 400 GPU(1 GPU=106 cm^(3)(STP)·cm^(2)·s^(-1)·cmHg^(-1)),providing a promising candidate for CO_(2) capture.

Kimberlite,one of the deepest known magmatic rocks on Earth,offers valuable glimpses into the deep mantle composition(Woodhead et al.,2019),craton structure(Gardiner et al.,2020),global geodynamic variation(Tappe et al.,2018),and diamond formation(Giuliani et al.,2023).The accurate determination of the emplacement of this special rock is crucial for revealing such ***,dating kimberlite is challenging due to its silica-poor,volatile-rich,strongly altered,and hybrid nature(Mitchell et al.,2019).Zircon is unsuitable for dating kimberlite and related rocks due to its preference for crystallizing in intermediate to felsic melts(Gervasoni et al.,2016)rather than silica-poor *** if present,zircon is prone to Pb loss through hydrothermal alteration(Zi et al.,2022)in a volatile-rich system like kimberlitic magmas.

Mitigation of Optical Multipath Interference Algorithms in IM-DD Transmission System

This paper aimed to propose two algorithms,DA-M and RF-M,of reducing the impact of multipath interference(MPI)on intensity modulation direct detection(IM-DD)systems,particularly for four-level pulse amplitude modulation(PAM4)***-M reduced the fluctuation by averaging the signal in blocks,RF-M estimated MPI by subtracting the decision value of the corresponding block from the mean value of a signal block,and then generated interference-reduced samples by subtracting the interference signal from the product of the corresponding MPI estimate and then weighting *** paper firstly proposed to separate the signal before decision-making into multiple blocks,which significantly reduced the complexity of DA-M and *** results showed that the MPI noise of 28 GBaud IMDD system under the linewidths of 1e5 Hz,1e6 Hz and 10e6 Hz can be effectively alleviated.

Hot Deformation Behavior and Microstructures Evolution of GNP-Reinforced Fine-Grained Mg Composites

Graphene nanoplates(GNPs)-reinforced magnesium matrix composites have been attracted great ***,knowledge is lack for the hot deformation behavior of GNP-reinforced magnesium(GNPs/Mg)*** this study,the fine-grained GNPs/Mg composite was fabricated by powder metallurgy process followed by *** hot deformation behavior,microstructure evolution and dynamic recrystallization(DRX)mechanism of fine-grained GNPs/Mg composite were investigated by hot compression test and electron back-scatter diffraction(EBSD).The hot compression tests of the composite were conducted at temperatures between 423 and 573 K with the strain rates from 0.001 to 1 s^(-1).The strain compensated power law equation was established to describe the hot deformation behavior of the *** stress exponent and activation energy of the composite are 7.76 and 83.23 kJ/mol,respectively,suggesting that the deformation mechanism is grain boundary slip controlled dislocation climb *** abnormally high stress exponent and activation energy are unattainable in the composite due to the fine grain size of the composites and the absence of Zener pinning and Orowan effects of GNPs *** grain size increases with the decrease in Zener-Hollomn(Z)parameter,which can be well fitted by power-law *** the increase in grain size and decrease in Z parameter,the geometrically necessary dislocation density decreases,which shows the approximately power-law relationship.A random and weak texture was formed after hot *** discontinuous dynamic recrystallization and continuous dynamic recrystallization mechanism dominated the DRX behavior at 473 K/0.001 s^(-1) and 573 K/0.001 s^(-1),respectively.

Dielectric metasurface evolution from bulk to monolayer by strong coupling of quasi-BICs for second harmonic boosting

2D materials are promising candidates as nonlinear optical components for on-chip devices due to their ultrathin structure. In general, their nonlinear optical responses are inherently weak due to the short interaction thickness with light. Recently, there has been great interest in using quasi-bound states in the continuum (q-BICs) of dielectric metasurfaces, which are able to achieve remarkable optical near-field enhancement for elevating the second harmonic generation (SHG) emission from 2D materials. However, most studies focus on the design of combining bulk dielectric metasurfaces with unpatterned 2D materials, which suffer considerable radiation loss and limit near-field enhancement by high-quality q-BIC resonances. Here, we investigate the dielectric metasurface evolution from bulk silicon to monolayer molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), and discover the critical role of meta-atom thickness design on enhancing near-field effects of two q-BIC modes. We further introduce the strongcoupling of the two q-BIC modes by oblique incidence manipulation, and enhance the localized optical field on monolayer MoS2dramatically. In the ultraviolet and visible regions, the MoS2SHG enhancement factor of our design is 105times higher than that of conventional bulk metasurfaces, leading to an extremely high nonlinear conversion efficiency of 5.8%. Our research will provide an important theoretical guide for the design of high-performance nonlinear devices based on 2D materials.
