Microwave absorbers have great potential for military and civil ***,Co_(0.5Z)n_(0.5)Fe_(2)O_(4)/residual carbon(CZFO/RC)composites have been successfully prepared using a hydrothermal *** was derived from coal gasification fine slag(CGFS)via pickling,which removes inorganic *** test means have been used to study the chemical composition,crys-tal structure,and micromorphology of the CZFO/RC composites,as well as their electromagnetic parameters and microwave absorption(MA)*** CZFO/RC composites exhibit excellent MA performance owing to their dielectric and magnetic *** the thickness of CZFO/RC-2(FeCl_(3)·6H_(2)O of 0.007 mol,ZnCl_(2)of 0.00175 mol,and CoCl_(2)·6H_(2)O of 0.00175 mol)is 1.20 mm,the minimum reflection loss(RL_(min))is-56.24 dB,whereas at a thickness of 3.00 mm and 6.34 GHz,RL_(min) is-45.96 dB and the maximum effective ab-sorption bandwidth is 1.83 GHz(5.53-7.36 GHz).Dielectric loss includes interface and dipole polarizations,while magnetic loss includes current and remnant magnetic ***/RC-2 exhibits high impedance matching,allowing microwave to enter the *** com-puter simulation technology confirms that CZFO/RC-2 considerably decreases the radar *** study can be used to promote the use of CGFS as electromagnetic wave(EMW)-absorbing materials.

A 3D simulation using Computational Particle Fluid Dynamics(CPFD)methods was used to calculate coal combustion in a 75 t/h industrial-scale circulating fluidized bed(CFB)*** characteristics,gas-solid flow characteristics,and gaseous pollutant emissions of CFB boilers from combustion ignition to stable operation were systematically evaluated in this *** show that the temperature distribution is relatively uniform throughout the *** the combustion process unfolds within the boiler,the gas composition curve strikingly portrays the inverse correlation between CO_(2)and O_(2)*** the combustion reaction progresses,it becomes evident that the concentration of CO_(2)progressively increases,while the concentration of O_(2)concurrently *** inverse relationship underscores the fundamental combustion reaction,where carbon-based fuels react with oxygen to produce carbon dioxide and release ***,a comprehensive analysis has revealed that,from ignition to stable combustion,both nitric oxide(NO)and sulfur dioxide(SO_(2))emissions exhibit a declining *** reduction in pollutant generation is attributed to the improvement in combustion *** complete combustion leads to lower levels of unburned hydrocarbons,which are prone to NO ***,the sulfur content in the fuel is more efficiently oxidized to sulfur trioxide(SO_(3))or bound in sulfates,reducing SO_(2)*** steady state in the simulation,the SO_(2)mass flow rate varies significantly with the furnace height,gradually increasing from 0.07 kg·s^(-1)at 4 m at the bottom of the furnace to a peak of 0.078 kg·s^(-1)at 8 m in the center,and then decreasing to 0.06 kg·s^(-1)at 20m at the top of the furnace.

Memristive crossbar arrays(MCAs)offer parallel data storage and processing for energy-efficient neuromorphic ***,most wafer-scale MCAs that are compatible with complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor(CMOS)technology still suffer from substantially larger energy consumption than biological synapses,due to the slow kinetics of forming conductive paths inside the memristive *** we report wafer-scale Ag_(2)S-based MCAs realized using CMOS-compatible processes at temperatures below 160℃.Ag_(2)S electrolytes supply highly mobile Ag+ions,and provide the Ag/Ag_(2)S interface with low silver nucleation barrier to form silver filaments at low energy *** further enhancing Ag+migration in Ag_(2)S electrolytes via microstructure modulation,the integrated memristors exhibit a record low threshold of approximately−0.1 V,and demonstrate ultra-low switching-energies reaching femtojoule values as observed in biological *** low-temperature process also enables MCA integration on polyimide substrates for applications in flexible ***,the intrinsic nonidealities of the memristive units for deep learning can be compensated by employing an advanced training *** impressive accuracy of 92.6%in image recognition simulations is demonstrated with the MCAs after the *** demonstrated MCAs provide a promising device option for neuromorphic computing with ultra-high energy-efficiency.

The plant growth process is accompanied by dynamic changes in the microtubules, and the rearrangement of microtubules is regulated by diverse microtubule-associated proteins(MAPs). Plant MAP65s have been exhaustively characterized in some species, but the information about MAP65 family members in tomato(Solanum lycopersicum) is limited. In this study, nine SlMAP65 family genes were identified in the tomato genome. Then a systematic analysis that considered the physio-chemical properties, evolution, conserved motifs, domains, gene structure, and cis-regulatory elements of SlMAP65 family members was conducted. The family member Sl MAP65-1,which had the highest expression, was knocked out by CRISPR/Cas9. The tomato fruit of slmap65-1 loss of function lines showed an elongated morphology, and the data indicated that SlMAP65-1 is involved in fruit morphogenesis at the early fruit development stage. These results provide new insights for fruit morphogenesis-related research and future functional studies of the SlMAP65 family members in tomato.

Liver transplantation is hindered by organ shortage. The potential way to relieve this issue is to expand the donor pool via extending the donor criteria and make full use of all available grafts. The concept of “no-donor” liver transplantation allows grafts to be recovered from other liver recipients. This review summarizes the current clinical practice of “no-donor” liver transplantation, focusing on the experiences of Chinese transplant teams. Domino liver transplantation was introduced by Furtado in 1995 and implemented later in 2013 in China, and novel donor indications including some essential-to-treat inherited metabolic liver-based diseases have emerged. The concept of cross-auxiliary domino liver transplantation brings a further expansion of the domino liver graft pool, and the first pair of liver transplantation performed “rigorously without donation” was accomplished in our center in 2018. Our experience with this original transplantation procedure is hereby reviewed. In order to further promote and make successful “no-donor” liver transplantation, close co-operation between researchers, surgeons, physicians, organ procurement organizations, as well as ethical committees is required.

Impacts of Land-Atmosphere Coupling on Summer Extreme Hot-Humid Compound Events over Southern Eurasia under Different Sea Surface Temperature Backgrounds

Land-atmosphere coupling and sea surface temperature (SST) anomalies both have essential impacts on weather and climate extremes. Based on the ERA5 reanalysis dataset and the CESM1.2.2 model, this study investigates the influence of land-atmosphere coupling on summer extreme hot-humid events (EHHE) over southern Eurasia under different SST backgrounds. The results suggest that coupling causes near-surface air temperature increases that exceed 0.5 degrees C. From 1961 to 2020, the frequency of EHHE has continuously increased, and is closely related to soil moisture anomalies in the northern Indian Peninsula (IDP) and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River (YRB). Numerical simulations further demonstrate that land-atmosphere coupling raises the risk of EHHE by 25.4%. In a typical El Ni & ntilde;o SST background state, intensified land-atmosphere coupling tends to produce notable increases in the frequency of EHHE. The dominant processes that land-atmosphere coupling affects the EHHE variations are evidently different between these two regions. Land surface thermal anomalies predominate in the IDP, while moisture conditions are more critical in the YRB. When warm SST anomalies exist, dry soil anomalies in the IDP are prominent, and evaporation is constrained, increasing sensible heat flux. Positive geopotential height anomalies are significant, combined with adiabatic warming induced by descending motion and a noticeable warm center in the near-surface atmosphere. The southward shift of the westerly jet enhances divergence over YRB. The anticyclonic circulation anomalies over the western Pacific are conducive to guiding moisture transport to the YRB, providing a favorable circulation background for the development of summer EHHE.

Despite efforts to develop treatment technology for cardiac arrest (CA),CA incidence and mortality rates are still high.^([1,2])A recent study of CA patients in emergency departments revealed that the incidence of CA is increasing annually,and the in-hospital survival rate of CA patients is only approximately 28.7%.^([3])Echocardiography has been widely used as an important monitoring tool in critical care and helps to identify the cause of shock,monitor hemodynamics,and guide fluid therapy utilization.^([4])One study reported that approximately one-third of patients underwent formal echocardiography during hospitalization in the intensive care unit (ICU).
