The source region of the Yellow River has experienced obvious climate and discharge changes in recent decades due to global warming, which largely affects the water resources and ecological and environmental security in the Yellow River basin. This study analyzed the changes in runoff and several climate factors in the source region of the Yellow River based on the observed discharges at the Tangnag hydrological station, routine meteorological data from China Meteorological Administration(CMA) stations within and near this source region, and several evaporation datasets. The results indicate that the runoff in the source region was relatively abundant from 1960 to 1989 and then declined sharply afterward. It recovered slightly after 2005 but was still below normal—10% less than that during 1960–1989. Similarly, the precipitation amounts in the source region were relatively low in the 1990s, but they increased significantly after 2003, with an average increase of 31.4 mm or 6% more when compared to that in 1960–1989. In addition, the temperatures in the source region continued to rise from 1960 to 2017, and the evaporation levels also showed an upward trend after 1990. The influences of the spatial and temporal variations in climatic factors on runoff in the source region were then further analyzed. The results indicate that the decreases in precipitation and the number of days of heavy rainfall in the source region from 1990 to 2002 were important reasons for the lower runoff during this period. After 2003, the precipitation in the southeastern part of the source region, which is a key area for runoff generation,increased only to a limited extent, but the evaporation in the entire source region generally increased with increasing temperature,which might have led to the low capacity for actual runoff production in each subbasin and persistent low runoff in the source region. After a century of standstill,bacteria-based tumor therapy has resurged recently benefiting from the revolution of tumor immunotherapy,which provides unique solutions to tackle the obstacles of traditional tumor *** and facultative anaerobes with active tropism can selectively colonize at tumor sites and suppress tumor growth via different mechanisms,serving as attractive tools for tumor treatment either as a monotherapy or combining with other therapies for synergistic anti-tumor *** this critical review,we introduce the recent advances of bacteria-based tumor therapy from the following ***,the general properties of bacteria are reviewed emphasizing on their structural components related to tumor immunotherapy,and the main bacteria that have been used in tumor therapy are ***,the benefits of bacteria for tumor therapy are illustrated,such as tumor targetability,deep penetration,and facile genetic engineering for attenuation,enhanced efficacy,as well as ***,anti-tumor mechanisms of bacteria are summarized,which refer to intrinsic tumoricidal activities,immune activation,bacteria metabolism,and their capability to regulate gut microbiota ***,bacteria could act as carriers to deliver various types of therapeutics to achieve combination therapy with improved *** addition,several challenges for anti-tumor applications of bacteria are discussed regarding the delivery,efficacy and safety issues,and potential solutions are also ***,the possible improvements and perspectives are discussed in the end,which provide a guideline for the design of advanced bacteria-based tumor therapeutics in the future.

On the convergence of tracking differentiator with multiple stochastic disturbances

This paper investigates the convergence, noise-tolerance, and filtering performance of a tracking differentiator in the presence of multiple stochastic disturbances for the first time. We consider a general case wherein the input signal is corrupted by additive colored noise, and the tracking differentiator is disturbed by additive colored noise and white noise. The tracking differentiator is shown to track the input signal and its generalized derivatives in the mean square sense. Further, the almost sure convergence can be achieved when the stochastic noise affecting the input signal is vanishing. Herein, numerical simulations are performed to validate the theoretical results.

Energy storage technology is an essential part of the efficient energy *** air energy storage(CAES)is considered to be one of the most promising large-scale physical energy storage *** is favored because of its low-cost,long-life,environmentally friendly and low-carbon *** compressor is the core component of CAES,and the performance is critical to the overall system *** importance is not only reflected in the design point,but also in the continuous efficient operation under variable working *** diagonal compressor is currently the focus of the developing large-scale CAES because of its stronger flow capacity compared with traditional centrifugal *** the diagonal compressor has the higher single stage pressure ratio compared with axial *** this paper,the full three dimensional numerical simulation technologies with synergy theory are used to compare and analyze the internal flow *** performance of the centrifugal and diagonal impellers that are optimized under the same requirements for large-scale CAES has been *** relationship between the internal flow characteristics and performance of the centrifugal and diagonal impellers with the change of mass flow rates and total inlet temperature is given qualitatively and *** the cosine value of the synergy angle is high,the local flow loss is *** smaller proportion of the positive area is the pursuit of *** comparative analysis,it is concluded that the internal flow and performance changes of centrifugal and diagonal impellers are *** results confirm the superiority and feasibility of the off-design performance of the diagonal compressor applied to the developing large-scale CAES.
