In this paper,we investigate the quadratic approximation *** studying the basic idea of simplex methods,we construct several new search directions by combining the local information progressively obtained during the iterates of the algorithm to form new *** the quadratic model is solved in the new *** motivation is to use the information disclosed by the former steps to construct more promising *** most tested problems,the number of function evaluations have been reduced obviously through our algorithms.

A field experiment with winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) was conducted on a silt loam calcaric endorusti-ustic Cambosols derived from the Yellow River alluvial deposits in Henan, china, from 2001 to 2002 to evaluate N recovery and agronomic performance of different mineral coated fertilizers (MiCFs) compared to normal urea used in wheat cropping systems under field conditions. Five treatments, including CK (check, no N fertilizer), urea and three different MiCFs at an equivalent N application rate were established in a randomized complete block design. N release from MiCFs in soil was more synchronous with the N requirement of wheat throughout the growth stages than that from urea, with grain yield of the MiCF treatments significantly higher (P < 0.05) than that of the treatment urea. Correspondingly, the N recovery rate was greater for all MiCFs compared to urea, increasing from 32.8% up to 50.1%. Due to its high recovery and low cost, use of the mineral coated N fertilizers was recommended instead of the polymer coated N fertilizers.

Hyperuricemia(hua)is a vital risk factor for chronic kidney diseases(CKD)and development of functional foods capable of protecting CKD is of *** paper aimed to explore the amelioration effects and mechanism of Andrias davidianus bone peptides(ADBP)on hua-induced kidney *** the present study,we generated the standard ADBP which contained high hydrophobic amino acid and low molecular peptide *** vitro results found that ADBP protected uric acid(UA)-induced HK-2 cells from damage by modulating urate transporters and antioxidant *** vivo results indicated that ADBP effectively ameliorated renal injury in hua-induced CKD mice,evidenced by a remarkable decrease in serum UA,creatinine and blood urea nitrogen,improving kidney UA excretion,antioxidant defense and histological kidney *** analysis highlighted 14 metabolites that could be selected as potential biomarkers and attributed to the amelioration effects of ADBP on CKD mice kidney ***,ADBP restored the gut microbiome homeostasis in CKD mice,especially with respect to the elevated helpful microbial abundance,and the decreased harmful bacterial *** study demonstrated that ADBP displayed great nephroprotective effects,and has great promise as a food or functional food ingredient for the prevention and treatment of hua-induced CKD.

The Moon provides a unique environment for investigating nearby astrophysical events such as *** samples retain valuable information from these events,via detectable long-lived“fingerprint”radionuclides such as^(60)*** this work,we stepped up the development of an accelerator mass spectrometry(AMS)method for detecting^(60)Fe using the HI-13tandem accelerator at the china institute of Atomic Energy(CIAE).Since interferences could not be sufficiently removed solely with the existing magnetic systems of the tandem accelerator and the following Q3D magnetic spectrograph,a Wien filter with a maximum voltage of±60 kV and a maximum magnetic field of 0.3 T was installed after the accelerator magnetic systems to lower the detection background for the low abundance nuclide^(60)Fe.A 1μm thick Si_(3)N_(4) foil was installed in front of the Q3D as an energy *** particle detection,a multi-anode gas ionization chamber was mounted at the center of the focal plane of the ***,an^(60)Fe sample with an abundance of 1.125×10^(-10)was used to test the new AMS *** results indicate that^(60)Fe can be clearly distinguished from the isobar^(60)*** sensitivity was assessed to be better than 4.3×10^(-14)based on blank sample measurements lasting 5.8 h,and the sensitivity could,in principle,be expected to be approximately 2.5×10^(-15)when the data were accumulated for 100 h,which is feasible for future lunar sample measurements because the main contaminants were sufficiently separated.

In this paper, we reveal that our solution of Demailly's strong openness conjecture implies a matrix version of the conjecture; our solutions of two conjectures of Demailly-Koll′ar and Jonsson-Mustat?a implies the truth of twisted versions of the strong openness conjecture; our optimal L^2 extension implies Berndtsson's positivity of vector bundles associated to holomorphic fibrations over a unit disc.

The excellent properties of metallic glass(MG)films make them perfect candidates for the use in miniature systems and ***,their high coefficients of friction(COFs)and poor wear resistance considerably limit their long-term performance in nanoscale *** report the fabrication of a MG/graphene multilayer by the repeated deposition of Cu_(50)Zr_(50) MG with alternating layers of *** microstructure of the multilayer was characterized by the transmission electron microscopy(TEM).Its mechanical and nanotribological properties were studied by nanoindentation and nanoscratch tests,respectively.A molecular dynamics(MD)simulation revealed that the addition of graphene endowed the MG with superelastic recovery,which reduced friction during *** comparison with the monolithic MG film,the multilayer exhibited improved wear resistance and a low COF in repeated nanowear tests owing to the enhanced mechanical properties and lubricating effect caused by the graphene *** work is expected to motivate the design of other novel MG films with excellent nanowear properties for engineering applications.

Integrating deformable mirrors within the optical train of an adaptive telescope was one of the major innovations in astronomical observation technology,distinguished by its high optical throughput,reduced optical surfaces,and the incorporation of the deformable ***,voice-coil actuators are used,which require additional position sensors,internal control electronics,and cooling systems,leading to a very complex *** deformable secondary mirror technologies were proposed to overcome these ***,a high-order piezoelectric deformable secondary mirror has been developed and installed on the 1.8-m telescope at Lijiang Observatory in china to make it an adaptive *** system consists of a 241-actuator piezoelectric deformable secondary mirror,a 192-sub-aperture Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor,and a multi-core-based real-time *** actuator spacing of the PDSM measures 19.3 mm,equivalent to approximately 12.6 cm when mapped onto the primary mirror,significantly less than the voicecoil-based adaptive telescopes such as LBT,Magellan and *** a result,stellar images with Strehl ratios above 0.49 in the R band have been *** our knowledge,these are the highest R band images captured by an adaptive telescope with deformable secondary ***,we report the system description and on-sky performance of this adaptive telescope.
