Investigation on the Transient Thermal Performance of a Mini-Channel Cold Plate for Battery Thermal Management

Cold plate is an important component for a liquid battery thermal management *** order to study the transient thermal performance of the cold plate under conditions with sharply increasing heat loads,the numerical model of a battery cold plate is *** validation experiment shows that the error between the simulation and experiment is around 2.5%to 5%.Effects of the coolant flow rate,the increase in heat flux,and the channel number are analyzed to study the transient thermal performance of the cold *** show that the average temperature of the cold plate at 540 s is lowered from 28.3℃ to 26.9℃ when the coolant flow rate is raised from 0.065 kg/s to 0.165 kg/*** temperature deviation is decreased when the coolant flow rate is increased from 0.065 kg/s to 0.115 kg/s;however,it is slightly increased if the coolant flow rate is further *** average temperature and temperature deviation are raised if the final heat flux is increased from11000 W/m^(2) to 16500 W/m^(2),which are 2 and 3 times of the initial,*** addition,increasing the channel number has slightly positive effect on the average temperature of the cold plate,while the temperature deviation is increased when the channel number is increased from 3 to 11 due to the non-uniform velocity distribution between each *** results of this study will be helpful during the design of cold plate for battery thermal management,especially for transient conditions with sudden rising heat loads like thermal runaway.

In order to improve mechanical and corrosion properties of biodegradable pure Zn,a knowledge-based microstructure design is performed on Zn-li alloy system composed of hard β-liZn_(4) and soft Zn *** and multi-modal grain structure are designed to toughen β-liZn_(4) while strengthen Zn,resulting in high strength and high ductility for both the ***-like secondary Zn precipitates form in β-liZn4,while fine-scale networks of string-like β-liZn4 precipitates form in Zn with a tri-modal grain *** a result,near-eutectic Zn-0.48 li alloy with an outstanding combination of high strength and high ductility has been fabricated through hot-warm rolling,a novel fabrication process to realize the microstructure *** as-rolled alloy has yield strength(YS) of 246 MPa,the ultimate tensile strength(UTS) of 395 MPa and elongation to failure(EL) of 47 %.Immersion test in simulated body fluid(SBF) for 30 days reveals that li-rich products form preferentially at initial stage,followed by Zn-rich products with prolonged *** insoluble li_(2) CO_(3) forms a protective passivation film on the alloy surface,which suppresses the average corrosion rate from 81.2 μm/year at day one down dramatically to 18.2 μm/year at day ***,the average corrosion rate increases slightly with decrease of li2 CO_(3) content,which undulates around the clinical requirements on corrosion resistance(i.e.,20 μm/year) claimed for biodegradable metal stents.

In this paper, we reported the karyotypes of 30 Chinese large flowered pot chrysanthemum cultivars, differing with respect to flower type, petal type, and flower colour. The interphase nuclei and prophase chromosomes of all the cultivars are, respectively, of the complex chromocentre and the interstitial type. Somatic chromosome number varies from 49 to 62, mostly falling in the range 51-56 or 58. Most of the cultivars are chromosomal mosaics, with three showing 2n = 6x = 54, and two 2n ＋1= 6x ＋ 1 = 55. At mitotic metaphase, most of the chromosomes are of the metacentric or submetacentric type, with a small number of acrocentrics and telocentrics. B chromosome （s） are present in about 22% of the entireties. The asymmetry index of the chromosomes ranges between 61 and 66%. The karyotypes can be categorized as reversely symmetrical types ＂2A＂ or ＂2B＂.

A new vanadium（Ⅲ） phosphite,V2（HPO3）3（1）,was synthesized hydrothermally with V2O5,H3PO3 as reactants,1,6-diaminopropane（1,6-HAD） as the structure-directing agent and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction,powder X-ray diffraction,IR spectroscopy,TGA,ICP-AES and elemental ***-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that compound 1 crystallized in the P6（3）/m hexagonal space group with the unit-cell parameters：a=0.80436（10） nm,c=0.73972（2） nm,V=0.41447（13） nm^3,Z=*** construction of 3D framework structure of compound 1 may be viewed as the assembly of V2O9 dimers and HPO3 pseudo-pyramids which lead to form the one-dimensional 4,12-member ring channels along the [001] direction.

The entropy squeezing properties for a two-level atom interacting with a two-mode field via two differentcompeting transitions are investigated from a quantum information point of *** influences of the initial state of thesystem and the relative coupling strength between the atom and the field on the atomic information entropy squeezingare *** results show that the squeezed direction and the frequency of the information entropy squeezing canbe controlled by choosing the phase of the atom dipole and the relative competing strength of atom-field,*** find that,under the same condition,no atomic variance squeezing is predicted from the HUR while optimal entropysqueezing is obtained from the EUR,so the quantum information entropy is a remarkable precision measure for theatomic squeezing in the considered system.

Effect of Water Vapor Absorption on Measurements of Atmospheric Nitrate Radical by LP-DOAS

During the measurement of atmospheric nitrate radical by long-path differential optical absorption spectroscopy, water vapor strong absorption could affect the measurement of nitrate radical and detection limits of system. Under the tropospheric condition, the optical density of water vapor absorption is non-linearly dependent on column density. An effective method was developed to eliminate the effect of water vapor absorption. Reference spectra of water vapor based on the daytime atmospheric absorption spectra, when fitted together with change of cross section with water vapor column densities, gave a more accurate fitting of water vapor absorptions, thus its effect on the measurements of nitrate radical could be restricted to a minimum and detection limits of system reached 3.6 ppt. The modified method was applied during an intensive field campaign in the Pearl River Delta, China. The NO3 concentration in polluted air masses varied from 3.6 ppt to 82.5 ppt with an average level of 23.6±1.8 ppt.
