Tailoring light–Matter Interactions in Overcoupled Resonator for Biomolecule Recognition and Detection

Plasmonic nanoantennas provide unique opportunities for precise control of light–matter coupling in surface-enhanced infrared absorption(SEIRA)spectroscopy,but most of the resonant systems realized so far suffer from the obstacles of low sensitivity,narrow bandwidth,and asymmetric Fano resonance ***,we demonstrated an overcoupled resonator with a high plasmon-molecule coupling coefficient(μ)(OC-Hμresonator)by precisely controlling the radiation loss channel,the resonator-oscillator coupling channel,and the frequency detuning *** observed a strong dependence of the sensing performance on the coupling state,and demonstrated that OC-Hμresonator has excellent sensing properties of ultra-sensitive(7.25%nm^(−1)),ultra-broadband(3–10μm),and immune asymmetric Fano *** characteristics represent a breakthrough in SEIRA technology and lay the foundation for specific recognition of biomolecules,trace detection,and protein secondary structure analysis using a single array(array size is 100×100μm^(2)).In addition,with the assistance of machine learning,mixture classification,concentration prediction and spectral reconstruction were achieved with the highest accuracy of 100%.Finally,we demonstrated the potential of OC-Hμresonator for SARS-CoV-2 *** findings will promote the wider application of SEIRA technology,while providing new ideas for other enhanced spectroscopy technologies,quantum photonics and studying light–matter interactions.

UHVDC transmission system is characterized by transferring large amount of electrical power over long distance , which plays an important role in the west-to-east power transmission project. Since the underground current can reach several kA under UHVDC monopole operation, the safe and stable operations of grounding electrode are highly relative with nearby soil resistivity. This paper introduces porous media model and analyzes the influence of rising temperature around grounding electrode on soil resistivity. Based on researching soil conduction mechanism under DC, calculation formula for soil resistivity and the rule of DC density on soil resistivity are presented. Furthermore, the relationship between DC density and soil resistivity is obtained, which was demonstrated by current characteristics experiment of soil resistivity.

An ever-increasing market demand has stimulated the soaring enthusiasm of researchers to develop wide-temperature supercapacitors(SCs). The active electrode is one of the most important parts of SC, which is directly related to the energy density,power transmission and long-term cyclability of the device in the wide-temperature environment. Compared with the SC electrodes aimed for room-temperature application, the SC electrodes for operating at wide-temperature scene often face greater challenges. In this review, the main challenges of SC electrodes under various temperature conditions, including low, high and cross-fade temperatures, are summarized. The relevant performance decay and failure mechanisms of wide-temperature SC electrodes are analyzed. In addition, this review deals with the recent studies and developments in robust wide-temperature SC electrodes with respect to the rational design of electrode structures and the exploitation of advanced active materials. Finally, the future directions for exploring reliable wide-temperature SCs are also proposed.

A modified criterion,β’,defined as Tg/Tx-Tg/(Tl·η))(Tg,Tx,Tlandηdenote the glass transition temperature,the onset of crystallization temperature,the liquidus temperature and constant coefficient,respectively),has been proposed for assessing the glass-forming ability(GFA) of bulk metallic glasses(BMGs).A survey of the readily available experimental data associated with the thermal analysis of various BMG alloys demonstrates that the newβ’ criterion exhibits much better correlation with the GFA than other currently used ***,it is more significant from statistical results to note that,all criteria including the currently proposed criterionβ’,which are all combined by Tg,Txand Tl,almost have equal ability in measuring the glass forming ability in any glass-forming system.

living/controlled cationic ring-opening polymerization （ROP） of L-lactide is a promising approach to isotactic-rich and crystalline poly（L-lactide）.In contrast with the unsubstituted lactones,L-LA can not be polymerized by organic Lewis acids or carbenium ions,and the state of the art in this field is the cationic ROP of L-LA catalyzed by Br?nsted acid/alcohol system via activated monomer ***,we reported the first example of controlled cationic ROP of L-LA by using Meerweintype ion pair[Me3O]+[B（C6F5）4]-as the catalyst.[Me3O]+[B（C6F5）4]-promoted rapid L-LA cationic polymerization in the absence of alcohol,producing isotactic-rich and crystalline PLLA without transesterification and epimerization side *** activated chain end mechanism,involving twice SN2 substitution and configuration-inversion （S→R→S） with the assistance of released Me2O,was proposed and further verified by density functional theory and control *** work expands the catalytic toolbox of isotactic-rich and crystalline polylactide *** represents a unique example of cationic-controlled polymerization of L-LA catalyzed by an organic ion pair.
