Cyclovirobuxinum D Alleviates Cardiac Hypertrophy in Hyperthyroid Rats by Preventing Apoptosis of Cardiac Cells and Inhibiting the p38 Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase Signaling Pathway

Objective： To investigate the underlying mechanisms of cyclovirobuxinum D（Cvb-D） on alleviating cardiac hypertrophy in rats. Methods： Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into 5 groups： control group; levothyroxine-induced cardiac hypertrophy group（model）; levothyroxine-induced cardiac hypertrophy ＋ Cvb-D group（Cvb-D）; levothyroxine-induced cardiac hypertrophy ＋ captopril group（captopril）; levothyroxine-induced cardiac hypertrophy ＋ SB203580 group（SB203580）, n=10 for each group. Rats were daily administered the respective drugs continuously for14 days by gastric gavage. A rat model of cardiac hypertrophy was established by intraperitoneal injection of levothyroxine to investigate whether Cvb-D protects against cardiac hypertrophy by inhibiting the p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase（MAPK） signaling pathway and preventing apoptosis of cardiac cells. Results： Treatment with Cvb-D significantly deceased left ventricle hypertrophy, improved the histopathology, hemodynamic conditions, and cardiac function in rats with cardiac hypertrophy. Compared with the normal control group, in rats with cardiac hypertrophy, expression of bax in the heart and phospho-p38 MAPK protein levels were significantly up-regulated（P〈0.01 or 0.05）, whereas the bcl-2 protein level was downregulated（P〈0.01）. In contrast, Cvb-D treatment reversed the changes in bax and phospho-p38 MAPK protein levels but increased the bcl-2 protein level（P〈0.01 or 0.05）, and these effects were similar to those of captopril and SB203580（a specific p38 MAPK inhibitor） treatment. Furthermore, both Cvb-D, captopril and SB203580 reduced m RNA expression of p38α, p38β, c-fos, and c-jun m RNA, and Cvb-D had a stronger effect（P〈0.01）. Conclusion： These results demonstrate that Cvb-D protects against cardiac hypertrophy, which is possibly mediated by prevention of cardiac cell apoptosis and inhibition of the p38 MAPK signaling pathway.

Neural Network Based on Inter-layer Perturbation Strategy for Text Classification

Recently,many researches have created adversarial samples to enrich the diversity of training data for improving the text classification performance via reducing the loss incurred in the neural network ***,existing studies have focused solely on adding perturbations to the input,such as text sentences and embedded representations,resulting in adversarial samples that are very similar to the original *** adversarial samples can not significantly improve the diversity of training data,which restricts the potential for improved classification *** alleviate the problem,in this paper,we extend the diversity of generated adversarial samples based on the fact that adding different disturbances between different layers of neural network has different *** propose a novel neural network with perturbation strategy(PTNet),which generates adversarial samples by adding perturbation to the intrinsic representation of each hidden layer of the neural ***,we design two different perturbation ways to perturb each hidden layer:1)directly adding a certain threshold perturbation;2)adding the perturbation in the way of adversarial *** above settings,we can get more perturbed intrinsic representations of hidden layers and use them as new adversarial samples,thus improving the diversity of the augmented training *** validate the effectiveness of our approach on six text classification datasets and demonstrate that it improves the classification ability of the *** particular,the classification accuracy on the sentiment analysis task improved by an average of 1.79%and on question classification task improved by 3.2%compared to the BERT baseline,respectively.

Realizing interfacial coupled electron/ion transport through reducing the interfacial oxygen density of carbon skeletons for high-performance lithium metal anodes

Lithium plating/stripping occurs at the a node/electrolyte interface which involves the flow of electrons from the current collector and the migration of lithium ions from the solid-electrolyte interphase（SEI）.The dual continuous rapid transport of interfacial electron/ion is required for homogeneous Li ***,we propose a strategy to improve the Li metal anode performance by rationally regulating the interfacial electron density and Li ion transport through the SEI *** key technique involves decreasing the interfacial oxygen density of biomass-derived carbon host by regulating the arrangement of the celluloses precursor *** higher specific surface area and lower interfacial oxygen density decrease the local current density and ensure the formation of thin and even SEI film,which stabilized Li+transfer through the Li/electrolyte ***,the improved graphitization and the interconnected conducting network enhance the surface electronegativity of carbon and enable uninterruptible electron *** result is continuous and rapid coupled interfacial electron/ion transport at the anode/electrolyte reaction interface,which facilitates uniform Li deposition and improves Li anode *** Li/C anode shows a high initial Coulombic efficiency of 98% and a long-term lifespan of over 150cycles at a practical low N/P（negative-to-positive） ratio of 1.44 in full cells.

A composite hydrogel with porous and homogeneous structure for efficient osmotic energy conversion

With the impact of energy crisis and environmental problems, it is urgent to develop green sustainable energy. Osmotic energy stored in the salinity difference between seawater and river water is one of the sustainable, abundant, and renewable energy. However, the membranes used to capture osmotic energy by reverse electrodialysis （RED） always suffer from low ion selectivity, low stability and low *** with three-dimensional （3D） networks have shown great potential for ion transportation and energy conversion. In this work, based on the homogeneity and porosity characteristics of acrylamide（AM） hydrogel, as well as the remarkable stability and abundant negative charge of 3-sulfopropyl acrylate potassium salt （SPAK）, a high-performance AM/SPAK cation-selective hydrogel membrane was successfully developed for harvesting osmotic energy. Compared to AM hydrogels, utilizing AM/SPAK as a monomer mixture greatly facilitated the preparation of homogeneous polymers, exhibiting a porous structure, exceptional ion selectivity, and remarkable stability. A maximum output power density of 13.73 W/m2was achieved at a 50-fold NaCl concentration gradient, exceeding the commercial requirement of 5 W/m2. This work broadens the idea for the construction and application of composite hydrogel in high efficiency osmotic energy conversion.

Human mitochondria possess a distinct genome, a small, circular, doublestranded DNA (mtDNA) of 16,569 base pairs.

目的:探讨环维黄杨星(Cvb-D)抗异丙肾上腺素致心肌缺血的药理作用和可能机理。方法:给大鼠灌服0.55、1.1和2.2 mg/kg Cvb-D,连续21 d,通过制备异丙肾上腺素诱发的心肌缺血性模型,观察各组大鼠的ECG、血清CPK、LDH活性、FFA含量及心肌组织中SOD的活性和脂质过氧化产物MDA的含量。结果:Cvb-D可显著减少心肌缺血性模型大鼠∑J,缩短ECG恢复时间;显著降低心肌缺血性模型大鼠血清中FFA含量;显著降低心肌缺血性模型大鼠血清中CPK、LDH活性;降低心肌缺血性模型大鼠心肌组织的MDA含量,升高心肌缺血性模型大鼠心肌组织SOD活性。结论:Cvb-D具有抗异丙肾上腺素致心肌缺血药理作用,其降低血清FFA、CPK、LDH水平、改善心肌MDA及SOD活性是Cvb-D的抗心肌缺血作用机理。
