This paper deals with the formative process of the Wenchuan earthquake disaster chain risk. Selected earthquake-landslides chain risk is critically evaluated by the probability of landslide displacement failure based on the Newmark's permanent-deformation model. In this context, a conceptual model of regional disaster chain risk assessment was proposed, in which the hazardformative environments sensitivity was the core factor as well as the main difference compared with single disaster risk assessment. The disaster chain risk is accumulation of primary disaster risk and the secondary disasters risks. Results derived from the Wenchuan case proved that the conceptual model was suitable for the disaster chain risk assessment, especially the sudden disaster chain. This experience would offer greater potential in application of conceptual model of disaster chain risk assessment, in the process of large-scale disaster risk governance.

Heteropoly coordination compounds containing optical ligands were synthesized and chracterized. Ultraviolet and ESR spectra were used to chracterize structures and test optical activity of heteropolyanions. Phase transfer for heteropolyanions wase obtained by adding equal volumes of traheptylammonium bromide (THA) in benzene under vigrous stirring until heteropolyanions transferred from the aqueous solution to the benzene solution of THA.

Flexible net barriers are a new type of effective mitigation measure against debris flows in valleys and can affect the kinematic energy and mass of debris flows. Here, ten flume tests were performed to study the dynamic behaviours of debris flows with differences in volumes, concentrations(solid volume fraction), and travel distances after interception by a uniform flexible net barrier. A high-speed camera was used to monitor the whole test process, and their dynamic behaviours were recorded. A preliminary computational framework on energy conversion is proposed according to the deposition mechanisms and outflow of debris flow under the effects of the flexible net barrier. The experimental results show that the dynamic interaction process between a debris flow and the flexible net barrier can be divided into two stages:(a) the two-phase impact of the leading edge of the debris flow with the net and(b) collision and friction between the body of the debris flow and intercepted debris material. The approach velocity of a debris flow decreases sharply(a maximum of 63%) after the interception by the net barrier, and the mass ratio of the debris material being intercepted and the kinetic energy ratio of the debris material being absorbed by the net barrier are close due to the limited interception efficiency of the flexible net barrier, which is believed to be related to the flexibility. The energy ratio of outflow is relative small despite the large permeability of the flexible net barrier.

The experience of consumers for products has great effect on the pre-sale strategy. Based on this, the paper studies the selection and pricing of multi-channel marketing models consisting of a brewer, an electronic retailer and a traditional retailer, constructing the non-cooperative game model of brewers and retailers with equal status in four contexts. Finally, the result shows that the introduction of direct channel is bene?cial to increase the brewer's revenue. When the pre-sale marginal revenue is greater than two times the average spot-sale marginal revenue, the total pro?t of supply chain will achieve the best under mode Ⅰ. i.e. both the brewer and e-retailer adopt pre-sale strategy.

Owing to their excellent optoelectronic properties, halide perovskite is very promising for photodetectors and other optoelectronic devices. Perovskite heterostructures are considered to be the key components for these devices. However, it is challenging to rationally synthesize those heterostructures. Here, we demonstrate that perovskite can be epitaxially grown on PbS by vapor transport, thereby creating an interesting CsPbBr_(3)-PbS heterostructure. Remarkably, photodetectors based on CsPbBr_(3)-PbS heterostructures exhibit visible to infrared broadband response with room temperature operation up to 2 μm. The room temperature detectivity higher than 1.0 × 10^(9) Jones was obtained in the 1.8- to 2-μm range. Furthermore, the p-n heterojunction exhibits a clear rectifying characteristic and enables detector to operate at zero-bias. Our study provides fundamentally contributes to establish the epitaxial growth perovskite heterostructures and demonstrate a materials platform for efficient perovskite-based optoelectronic devices.

Streptococcus equi ***(SEZ)is an important zoonotic ***,a virulence-attenuated strain M35246 derived from natural variation of wild-type SEZ ATCC35246 was found.M35246 showed a deletion of 25contiguous genes as well as a loss-of-function mutation in ***,a 25-gene-deleted strain(ΔPI),a covS-mutant strain(Mcov S),and relevant complementary strains were constructed and investigated.M35246 and Mcov S were significantly less encapsulated and exhibited poorer anti-phagocytic capacity compared to wild-type *** was significantly more sensitive toβ-lactams,aminoglycosides,macrolides,and lincosamides than wild-type SEZ.M35246,McovS,andΔPI exhibited an increase in median lethal dose(LD_(50))in mice by 10~5,10~5,and 5 times when compared to wild-type SEZ,*** M35246 nor McovS were isolated from mice 48 h after being challenged with approximately 2000 times the LD_(50)of wild-type *** analysis showed that 668 significantly differentially expressed genes existed between McovS and wild-type *** virulence factor-encoding genes and anabolicrelated genes in McovS that were involved in anti-phagocytosis,capsule formation,pathogenicity,and antibiotic resistance were downregulated significantly relative to the wild-type *** study revealed that the CovS plays a vital role in the establishment of SEZ virulence.

Orbital angular momentum(OAM)at radio frequency(RF)has attracted more and more attention as a novel approach of multiplexing a set of orthogonal OAM modes on the same frequency channel to achieve high spectral efficiency(SE).However,the precondition for maintaining the orthogonality among different OAM modes is perfect alignment of the transmit and receive uniform circular arrays(UCAs),which is difficult to be satisfied in practical wireless communication ***,to achieve available multi-mode OAM broadband wireless communication,we first investigate the effect of oblique angles on the transmission performance of the multi-mode OAM broadband system in the non-parallel misalignment ***,we compare the UCA-based RF analog and baseband digital transceiver structures and corresponding beam steering *** analysis and numerical simulations validate that the SE of the misaligned multi-mode OAM broadband system is quite low,while analog and digital beam steering(DBS)both can significantly improve the SE of the ***,DBS can obtain higher SE than analog beam steering especially when the bandwidth and the number of array elements are large,which validates that the baseband digital transceiver with DBS is more suitable for multi-mode OAM broadband wireless communication systems in practice.
