background Developing accurate identification methods for individuals with suicide attempts and providing them with follow-up care and supports can be a vital component of all comprehensive suicide prevention ***,because of the difficulties concerning one’s intentions behind injurious behaviour,identifying suicide attempts is a challenge for families and *** The aim of this study was to investigate the differences between family report and clinical assessment for suicide attempts in the emergency department(ED).Methods A total of 148 patients with suspected suicide attempts(SSAs)and 148 family caregivers in the ED were *** suicide risk module of the Chinese version of the MINI International Neuropsychiatric Interview and the self-report measure were used to assess those with SSA’s suicidal *** Family Adaptability and Cohesion Evaluation Scales and semi-structured interviews were used to investigate the characteristics of suicide risk and demographics of patients with SSA,as well as the rate and influencing factors of omitted suicide attempts reported by family *** The underreporting rate for family reported suicide attempts in the ED was 69.0%.The suicide attempts group indicated lower mean scores on perceptions of family resources,adaptability and ***'suicide risk rating(OR=0.152,95%CI:0.037 to 0.620,p=0.009),adult-children relationship(OR=5.037,95%CI:1.478 to 17.167,p=0.010)and caregiver’s age(OR=0.279,95%CI:0.103 to 0.757,p=0.012)might be associated with underreporting by *** patients committed suicide attempts through a falling injury or medication overdose,their families may have misreported the suicide *** The discordance of suicide attempt records between family report and clinical assessment reveals the limitations of family self-reports when identifying suicide *** and observations,together with information from certain diagnoses,should be com

The law of element segregation of Ti, N, Mn and S, and the sequence of selective precipitation of TiN and MnS inclusions during solidification of molten steel of SWRH82 A are studied on the basis of thermodynamics. The origin of large TiN inclusions which affect the titanium inclusions point penalty in SWRH82 A wire rod is analyzed based on the research on the distribution characteristics of MnS and large size of TiN inclusions observed on metallographic specimen of SWRH82 A steel wire rod. The solidification segregation ratio of Ti is far more than that of N, and the solidification segregation ratio of S is far more than that of Mn. In the range of cooling rate of the continuous casting production, the cooling rate of solidification has little effect on the segregation ratios of Ti, N, Mn and S. MnS inclusions will precipitate earlier than TiN inclusions during solidification of the molten steel of SWRH82 A. The large TiN inclusion which is wrapped by MnS in the SWRH82 A wire rod may be foreign inclusions and it is not precipitated product during solidification in the molten steel of SWRH82 A.

It is demonstrated by simulations and analysis that a wakefield driven by an ultrashort intense laser pulse in underdense plasma can emit tunable electromagnetic radiation along the laser propagation direction. The profile of such a kind of radiation is closely associated with the structure of the laser wakefield. In general, electromagnetic radiation in the terahertz range with its frequency a few times the electron plasma frequency can be generated in the moderate intensity regime. In the highly nonlinear case, a chain of radiation pulses is formed corresponding to the nonlinear structure of the wake. Study shows that the radiation is associated with the self-modulation process of the laser pulse in the wakefield and resulting transverse electron momenta from modulated asymmetric laser fields.

As a class of functional crystalline porous materials, metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) gained rapid development in the past three decades and a large number of MOFs with ordered structures, high surface areas, and functionalized channels have been investigated. MOFs and MOF-derived/composite materials show great potential in many application fields. In this review, we discussed the main applications of MOFs and MOF-derived/composite materials in small molecule storage, separation, luminescence, sensing, multitype catalysis, and energy storage. In addition, challenges and problems in the future research of MOFsrelated fields are also discussed.

An investigation on the optimization of parental RNA interference （RNAi） conditions for hunchback （hb） gene in Locusta migratoria manilensis （Meyen） was conducted. Double stranded RNA （dsRNA） corresponding to hb gene was injected into haemocoel of female adults ofL. migratoria manilensis. Embryos developed from the eggs laid by the injected adults on the 7th day after eclosion showed observable effects of RNAi for hb. The silencing effect after delivery treatment of dsRNA for hb gene was maintained for more than 21 days. A significant decrease of hb transcripts was further confirmed by Northern blot analysis. The dose of dsRNA/insect at 2μg could trigger 96.9% RNAi effects, while silencing appeared to have no dependence on the size of dsRNA. Results suggest that parental RNAi could be employed to efficiently identify the developmental gene functions in L. migratoria manilensis.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the potential beneficial effects of Inonotus obliquuspolysaccharides(IOP) on the alleviation of physical fatigue in ***: Sixty-four male mice were randomly divided into four groups(n = 16 per group). Mice were orally administered IOP for a period of 14 days at 0,100,200 and 300 mg/kg/d,and were assigned to the control,IOP-100,IOP-200,and IOP-300 groups,respectively by the random number table method. Mice in the control group received an oral administration of sterile distilled water. A forced swimming test was performed for 8 mice per group at one hour after the last treatment. The other 8mice in each group swam for 30 min. Blood,liver and muscle samples were taken after resting for30 min. Levels of blood urea nitrogen and lactate,as well as glycogen contents of the liver and muscle were measured. Morphology of liver was observed by light ***: IOP extended the swimming time of mice,and increased the glycogen content of liver and muscle,but decreased blood lactic acid and serum urea nitrogen levels. IOP had no toxic effects on major organs such as the liver as assessed by histopathological ***: IOP might be a potential anti-fatigue pharmacological agent.

A novel elevator door driven by tubular permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (TPMLSM) is presented. This TPMLSM applies axial magnet array topology of the secondary rod, air-cored armature windings and slotless structure of the forcer to improve the stability of the thrust. The influence of two major dimensions, the pitch and radius of the permanent magnet (PM), on magnetic field was studied and the best values were given by the finite element analysis (FEA). The magnetic field, back EMF and thrust of the motor were analyzed and the PM size was optimized to reduce the harmonic components of the magnetic field and improve the performance of the motor. Predicted results are validated by the experiment. It is shown that the performance of the motor and the novel elevator door system is satisfying.

Nitrogen is one of major contaminants in wastewater; however, nitrogen, as bio-elements for crop growth, is the indispensable fertilizer in agriculture. In this study, two-chamber microbial fuel cells （MFCs） were first operated with microorganisms in anode chamber and potassium ferricyanide as catholyte. After being success- fully startup, the two-chamber MFCs were re-constructed to three-chamber MFCs which were used to recover the NO-3 -N and NH＋4 -N of synthetic wastewater into value- added nitrogenous fertilizer from cathode chamber and anode chamber, respectively. Ferric nitrate was used as the sole electron acceptor in cathode, which also was used to evaluate the NO-3 -N recover efficiency in the case major anion of NO3 in cathode. The output voltage of these MFCs was about 600-700 mVat an external load of 500 Ω. About 47% NH＋4 -N in anode chamber and 83% NO-3 -N in cathode chamber could be recovered. Higher current density can selectively improve the recovery efficiency of both NH＋4-N and NO3 -N. The study demonstrated a nitrogen recovery process from synthetic wastewater using three-chamber MFCs.
