Petrophysical parameters inversion for heavy oil reservoir based on a laboratory-calibrated frequency-variant rock-physics model

Heavy oil has high density and viscosity, and exhibits viscoelasticity. Gassmann's theory is not suitable for materials saturated with viscoelastic fluids. Directly applying such model leads to unreliable results for seismic inversion of heavy oil reservoir. To describe the viscoelastic behavior of heavy oil, we modeled the elastic properties of heavy oil with varying viscosity and frequency using the Cole-Cole-Maxwell (CCM) model. Then, we used a CCoherent Potential Approximation (CPA) instead of the Gassmann equations to account for the fluid effect, by extending the single-phase fluid condition to two-phase fluid (heavy oil and water) condition, so that partial saturation of heavy oil can be considered. This rock physics model establishes the relationship between the elastic modulus of reservoir rock and viscosity, frequency and saturation. The viscosity of the heavy oil and the elastic moduli and porosity of typical reservoir rock samples were measured in laboratory, which were used for calibration of the rock physics model. The well-calibrated frequency-variant CPA model was applied to the prediction of the P- and S-wave velocities in the seismic frequency range (1–100 Hz) and the inversion of petrophysical parameters for a heavy oil reservoir. The pre-stack inversion results of elastic parameters are improved compared with those results using the CPA model in the sonic logging frequency (∼10 kHz), or conventional rock physics model such as the Xu-Payne model. In addition, the inversion of the porosity of the reservoir was conducted with the simulated annealing method, and the result fits reasonably well with the logging curve and depicts the location of the heavy oil reservoir on the time slice. The application of the laboratory-calibrated CPA model provides better results with the velocity dispersion correction, suggesting the important role of accurate frequency dependent rock physics models in the seismic prediction of heavy oil reservoirs.

Differential metabolites and their transcriptional regulation in seven major tea cultivars (Camellia sinensis) in China

Various genetic and biochemical characteristics exist in tea plant cultivars,and they largely determine production suitability and tea ***,we performed transcriptomic and metabolomic analyses of young shoots of seven tea cultivars and identified major regulatory transcription factors(TFs)for the characteristic metabolites in different cultivars based on weighted gene co-expression network analysis(WGCNA).Phenotypically,we found that‘Tieguanyin’(TGY)and‘Fujian Shuixian’(FJSX),which are suitable for oolong tea,had higher catechin *** metabolites of‘Jinxuan’(JX)were more prominent,especially the contents of phenolic acids,flavonoids,terpenes,and tannins,which were higher than those of the other six ***,‘Fudingdabai’(FDDB),which is suitable for white tea,was rich in amino acids,linolenic acid,and *** the molecular level,hydroxycinnamoyl CoA quinate hydroxycinnamoyl transferase(HCT)(CsTGY12G0001876,and CsTGY06G0003042)led to the accumulation of chlorogenic acid in *** main reason for the higher l-ascorbic acid content in FJSX was the high expression levels of L-galactono-1,4-lactone hydrogenase(GalLDH)(CsTGY13G0000389)and Myo-inositol oxygenase(MIOX)(CsTGY14G0001769,and CsTGY14G0001770),which were regulated by WRKY(CsTGY11G0001197).Furthermore,FDDB,‘Longjing 43’(LJ43),‘Shuchazao’(SCZ)and‘Baihaozao’(BHZ)had higher free fatty acid contents,among which MYB(CsTGY14G0002344)may be a hub gene for the regulation of palmitoleic acid *** importantly,we found that the shoots of TGY were green with purple,mainly due to the accumulation of anthocyanins and the downregulation of the Mg-protoporphyrin IX nonomethyl ester cyclase(MPEC)(CsTGY10G0001989)gene that affects chlorophyll *** results will provide a theoretical reference for tea cultivar breeding and suitability.

Characterization of size-resolved aerosol hygroscopicity and liquid water content in Nanjing of the Yangtze River Delta

Aerosol hygroscopicity and liquid water content(ALWC)have important influences on the environmental and climate effect of *** this study,we measured the hygroscopic growth factors(GF)of particles with dry diameters of 40,80,150,and 200 nm during the wintertime in *** the GF-derived hygroscopicity parameter(κ_(gf))and ALWC increased with particle size,but displayed differing diurnal variations,withκ_(gf)peaking around the midday,while ALWC peaking in the early ***,ammonium and oxygenated organic aerosols(OOA)were found as the chemical components mostly strongly correlated with ALWC.A closure study suggests that during midday photo-oxidation and nighttime high ALWC periods,theκof organic aerosols(κ_(org))was underestimated when using previous ***,we re-constructed parameterizations forκ_(org)and the oxidation level of organics for these periods,which indicates a higher hygroscopicity of photochemically formed OOA than the aqueous OOA,yet both being much higher than the generally assumed OOA ***,in a typical high ALWC episode,concurrently increased ALWC,nitrate,OOA as well as aerosol surface area and mass concentrations were observed under elevated ambient *** strongly indicates a coupled effect that the hygroscopic secondary aerosols,in particular nitratewith strong hygroscopicity,led to large increase in ALWC,which in turn synergistically boosted nitrate and OOA formation by heterogeneous/aqueous *** interaction may represent an important mechanism contributing to enhanced formation of secondary aerosols and rapid growth of fine particulate matter under relatively high RH conditions.

Novel Design of HID Lamp Electronic Ballast for Automotive Systems

This paper presents a high intensity discharge（HID） lamp for automotive illumination. A novel type of ballast for HID is proposed without an acoustic resonance. The system consists of high frequency DC/DC converter,DC/AC inverter（SLA2403M）, high voltage igniter and a microcontroller unit（MCU）. The proposed ballast controls the complex start-up process and constant power process by programming on the rnicrocontroller. It is verified that experimental results agree well with the calculated ones. The ballast features such functions as failure protection, line under-voltage, line over-voltage, output short circuit and disconnection protections.

Chemotherapy is regarded as a widely used and effective treatment strategy for lung cancer,although most conventional chemotherapeutics cause severe toxic side-effects due to their indiscriminate attacks on both cancerous and normal *** nucleic acid nanomaterials are emerging as a promising drug delivery strategy,their clinical applications are limited by rapid degradation by nucleases and difficulties in targeting cancer *** this study,we have developed a Rhein-loaded aptamer-based DNA nanotube(DNT-S6@Rhein)for the targeted and efficient therapy of non-small cell lung *** the palindrome segments,two specified oligonucleotides were hybridized and folded into the well-defined nanotubes(DNT-S6),with the S6 aptamer distributed *** obtained nanotubes exhibited excellent serum stability and targeting ability towards A549 cells due to the firm structure and decoration of the S6 ***,as an antitumor drug and DNA intercalator,can be effectively inserted into the *** drug-loaded nanotubes rapidly disassembled in intracellular environment and then the released Rhein was found to activate cellular apoptotic process and significantly suppress proliferation,migration and invasion of A549 ***,DNT-S6@Rhein could efficiently accumulate in tumor regions,offering compelling therapeutic efficacy and biocompatibility under both in vitro and in vivo *** findings of this study provide a promising strategy for mitigating the inevitable systemic side-effects of chemotherapy and expand the potential application of DNA nanostructure on targeted drug delivery.

Dear Editor,This letter proposes a dynamic switching soft slicing strategy for industrial mixed traffic in 5G networks. Considering two types of traffic, periodic delay-sensitive (PDS) traffic and sporadic delay-tolerant (SDT) traffic, we design a dynamic switching strategy based on a traffic-Qo S-aware soft slicing (TQASS) scheme and a resource-efficiency-aware soft slicing (REASS) scheme.

A photocatalytic process was developed for intermolecular reductive coupling of aliphatic ketones with alkynes/alkenes to furnish tertiary *** studies support that boron carbonitrides(BCN)promote the single electron reduction of unactivated aliphatic ketones to generate ketyl radicals with visible light irradiation,which then react with alkynes and alkenes to afford the allylic and aliphatic alcohols,*** heterogeneous photocatalytic system is compatible with diverse substrates including pharmaceutical-related molecules(43 examples)with reusability and scale-up experiments,verifying the complementary synthetic utility of this method to the homogeneous catalysts.
