Kernel Partial least squares method can obtain nonlinear novel features for further classification and other tasks,the dimension of extracted kernel space is usually very high,there still may contain irrelevant and redundant features,so using feature selection to select the most discriminative and informative features for classification or data analysis is important,but there are few attentions to it until *** we propose a novel method which firstly uses Kernel Partial Least Squares as a nonlinear feature extraction method to get a basis set,and then uses the Relief Wrapper,one of the hybrid feature selection algorithms,to select the most discriminative *** selected features form a subspace of the kernel space,where different state-of-the-art classification algorithms can be applied for *** results on three microarray datasets validate the efficiency and accuracy of our method.

In pervasive computing, one of the key open challenges is the efficient discovery of the device that provides target services. This paper proposes a novel distributed service discovery algorithm in pervasive computing environments. This method is based on the basic principle of social network and bio-inspired intelligence. It exploits a social behavior and ant inspired query routing mechanism, which views query messages as artificial ants, and utilizes pheromone and social utility as routing hints that direct query messages to nodes owning more services. This paper presents generation and update rule of pheromone, routing policy for artificial ants as well. In order to avoid getting into local optimization, the roulette wheel technique and pheromone limitation policy are used in our algorithm. Simulation results show that our method significantly improves the search quality as well as reduces traffic cost compared with classical approaches, which supports high mobility and is suitable for pervasive environments.

Ultra-compact multifunctional integrated photonic modules have great practical significance to photonic integrated circuits (PICs).However,the design effect and efficiency of the existing mainstream inverse design algorithms are incompetent when designing these *** analyze their shortcomings in this task,and propose a new,to our knowledge,inverse design algorithm named polygon search (PS) algorithm to address these *** utilize the PS algorithm to design an integrated dual-channel mode-conversion-crossing waveguide *** module integrates three functions:interconversion between TE_(0) and TE_(1),interconversion between TE_(0) and TE_(2),and channel crossing within only a 4μm×4μm footprint,and its performance is verified by experimental *** not only greatly reduces the total footprint of many PICs but also greatly improves their fabricating ***,we propose a PS-designed mode mixer and a PS-designed bending waveguide,and connect them with the integrated modules to form a four-channel crossing-mode-division-multiplexing *** system can provide multiple modes on the basis of channel crossing and transmit the output signal in the same direction in parallel within a single output waveguide,which significantly increases the communication bandwidth and decreases the footprint of *** last,we demonstrate the effect and efficiency advantages of the PS algorithm over several mainstream inverse design algorithms by a comprehensive contrast experiment and explain these advantages in theory from several perspectives.

Aimed at the aberrations of inter-domain role mapping issues including privilege-aberration and role aberration,an improved inter-domain role mapping mechanism was purposed in this article,and it can guarantee the consistency of the user privilege and the relationships among *** makes utility of the role-privilege relation,and maintains a "permitted privilege list" and a "forbidden privilege list" for each role,and thus provides more flexibility for role mapping,and it can determine whether a certain role-mapping is legal within constant time using closure algorithm,and to make that algorithm more efficiency,a pre-calculation method is purposed.

This paper has proposed DHCM （density-based hierarchical clustering multicast）,a scalable application-level multicast model which has improved IHC *** divides the hosts into many hierarchies according to their density,and constructs a density tree to realize the shortest routing for singlesource media *** tree delivers the content of video server to each host in density tree and uses a p2p scheme in data *** this way the application-level multicast has been *** density tree has the homogeneity and monotonic *** experiment result has proved that DHCM can transmit the video stream efficiently and robustly.

Pain is estimated to affect more than 20%of the global population,imposing incalculable health and economic *** pain management is crucial for individuals suffering from ***,the current methods for pain assessment and treatment fall short of clinical *** from advances in neuroscience and biotechnology,the neuronal circuits and molecular mechanisms critically involved in pain modulation have been *** research achievements have incited progress in identifying new diagnostic and therapeutic *** this review,we first introduce fundamental knowledge about pain,setting the stage for the subsequent *** review next delves into the molecular mechanisms underlying pain disorders,including gene mutation,epigenetic modification,posttranslational modification,inflammasome,signaling pathways and *** better present a comprehensive view of pain research,two prominent issues,sexual dimorphism and pain comorbidities,are discussed in detail based on current *** status quo of pain evaluation and manipulation is summarized.A series of improved and innovative pain management strategies,such as gene therapy,monoclonal antibody,brain-computer interface and microbial intervention,are making strides towards clinical *** highlight existing limitations and future directions for enhancing the quality of preclinical and clinical *** to decipher the complexities of pain pathology will be instrumental in translating scientific discoveries into clinical practice,thereby improving pain management from bench to bedside.

Disaster recovery （DR） techniques ensure the data safety and service continuity under different natural and human-made disasters by constructing a high reliable storage system. Traditional disaster recovery methods are structure-dependent. It is hard to share the DR resources between different DR systems, which made it expensive. We present a structure-independent disaster recovery theory and its implementation methods in this paper. By backup the whole system but not just the data, the goal of device and application-independent disaster recovery has been achieved. We further present a parallel recovery model and an on demand data retrieval method based on the theory. Some implementation details of prototype recovery system are also discussed. With the methods independent from specific devices or applications, the cost of disaster recovery infrastructure can be essentially reduced by resource sharing. Experiments show that the recovery time has also been greatly shortened with little service degradation.
