The problem of imbalanced data classification learning has received much attention.Conventional classification algorithms are susceptible to data skew to favor majority samples and ignore minority samples.Majority weighted minority oversampling technique(MWMOTE)is an effective approach to solve this problem,however,it may suffer from the shortcomings of inadequate noise filtering and synthesizing the same samples as the original minority data.To this end,we propose an improved MWMOTE method named joint sample position based noise filtering and mean shift clustering(SPMSC)to solve these problems.Firstly,in order to effectively eliminate the effect of noisy samples,SPMsC uses a new noise filtering mechanism to determine whether a minority sample is noisy or not based on its position and distribution relative to the majority sample.Note that MWMOTE may generate duplicate samples,we then employ the mean shift algorithm to cluster minority samples to reduce synthetic replicate samples.Finally,data cleaning is performed on the processed data to further eliminate class overlap.Experiments on extensive benchmark datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of SPMsC compared with other sampling methods.

Ralstonia solanacearum is a widespread plant bacterial pathogen that can launch a range of type Ⅲ effectors(T3Es)to cause disease.In this study,we isolate a pathogenic R.solanacearum strain named P380 from tomato rhizosphere.Five out of 12 core T3Es of strain P380 are introduced into Pseudomonas syringae DC3000D36E separately to determine their functions in interacting with plants.DC3000D36E that harbors each effector suppresses FliC-triggered Pti5 and ACRE31 expression,ROS burst,and callose deposition.RipAE,RipU,and RipW elicit cell death as well as upregulate the MAPK cascades in Nicotiana benthamiana.The derivatives RipC1^(△DDXDX(T/V))and RipW^(△DDKXXQ)but not RipAE^(K310R) fail to suppress ROS burst.Moreover,RipAE^(K310R) and RipW^(△DDKXXQ) retain the cell death elicitation ability.RipAE and RipW are associated with salicylic acid and jasmonic acid pathways,respectively.RipAE and RipAQ significantly promote the propagation of DC3000D36E in plants.The five core T3Es localize in diverse subcellular organelles of nucleus,plasma membrane,endoplasmic reticulum,and Golgi network.The suppressor of G2 allele of Skp1 is required for RipAE but not RipU-triggered cell death in N.benthamiana.These results indicate that the core T3Es in R.solanacearum play diverse roles in plantpathogen interactions.

Aurora kinase A(Aurora-A),a serine/threonine kinase,plays a pivotal role in various cellular processes,including mitotic entry,centrosome maturation and spindle formation.Overexpression or gene-amplification/mutation of Aurora-A kinase occurs in different types of cancer,including lung cancer,colorectal cancer,and breast cancer.Alteration of Aurora-A impacts multiple cancer hallmarks,especially,immortalization,energy metabolism,immune escape and cell death resistance which are involved in cancer progression and resistance.This review highlights the most recent advances in the oncogenic roles and related multiple cancer hallmarks of Aurora-A kinase-driving cancer therapy resistance,including chemoresistance(taxanes,cisplatin,cyclophosphamide),targeted therapy resistance(osimertinib,imatinib,sorafenib,etc.),endocrine therapy resistance(tamoxifen,fulvestrant) and radioresistance.Specifically,the mechanisms of Aurora-A kinase promote acquired resistance through modulating DNA damage repair,feedback activation bypass pathways,resistance to apoptosis,necroptosis and autophagy,metastasis,and stemness.Noticeably,our review also summarizes the promising synthetic lethality strategy for Aurora-A inhibitors in RB1,ARID1A and MYC gene mutation tumors,and potential synergistic strategy for m TOR,PAK1,MDM2,MEK inhibitors or PD-L1 antibodies combined with targeting Aurora-A kinase.In addition,we discuss the design and development of the novel class of Aurora-A inhibitors in precision medicine for cancer treatment.

BACKGROUND： Liver transplantation is a treatment of choice for both acute and chronic liver failure. Accompanied with the increase of long-term survival rates of recipients, metabolic syndrome and its individual components, including obesity, hyperglycemia, hypertension and hyperlipidemia, have become more frequent post liver transplantation. Here we reviewed the literature concerning the risk factors for the development of metabolic complications in liver recipients.

One of the main challenges for multi-wheel hub motor driven vehicles is the coordination of individual drivetrains to improve mobility and stability in the steering process.This paper proposes a dual-steering mode based on direct yaw moment control for enhancing vehicle steering ability in complex environ ments.The control system is designed as a hierarchical structure,with a yaw moment decision layer and a driving force distribution layer.In the higher-level layer,the objective optimization function is con-structed to obtain the slip steering ratio,which represents the degree of vehicle slip steering in the dual-steering mode.Ayaw moment controller using active disturbance rejection control theory is designed for continuous yaw rate control.When the actual yaw rate of the vehicle deviates from the reference yaw rate obtained by the vehicle reference model and the slip steering ratio,the yaw moment controller isactuated to determine the yaw moment demand for vehicle steering.In the lower-level layer,there is a torque distribution controller based on distribution rules,which meets the requirement of yaw moment demand without affecting the total longitudinal driving force of the vehicle.For verifying the validity and feasibility of the dual-steering mode,simulations were conducted on the hardware-in-loop real-time simulation platfomm.Additionally,corresponding real vehicle tests were carried out on an eight-wheel prototype vehicle.Test results were generally consistent with the simulation results,thereby demon-strating that the proposed dual-steering mode reduces steering radius and enhances the steering per-formance of the vehicle.

Purpose By comparing the outcomes of total hip arthroplasty with hemiarthroplasty in elderly patients with a femoral neck fracture to investigate the one-year mortality,dislocation,infection,reoperation rate,and thromboembolic event.Methods The PubMed,EMBASE databases,and Cochrane library were systematically searched from the inception dates to April 1,2020 for relevant randomized controlled trials in English language using the keywords:“total hip arthroplasty”,“hemiarthroplasty”and“femoral neck fracture”to identify systematic reviews and meta-analyses.Two reviewers independently selected articles,extracted data,assessed the quality evidence and risk bias of included trials using the Cochrane Collaboration’stools,and discussed any disagreements.The third reviewer was consulted for any doubts or uncertainty.We derived risk ratios and 95%confidence intervals.Mortality was defined as the primary outcome.Secondary outcomes were other complications,dislocation,infection,reoperation rate,and thromboembolic event.Results This meta-analysis included 10 studies with 1419 patients,which indicated that there were no significant differences between hemiarthroplasty and total hip arthroplasty in reoperation,infection rate,and thromboembolic event.However,there was a lower mortality and dislocation rate association with total hip arthroplasty at the one-year follow-up.Conclusion Based on our results,we found that total hip arthroplasty was better than hemiarthroplasty for a hip fracture at one-year follow-up.

The chemical composition and high wear resistance of steel slag(SS)make it a potential alternative to traditional inorganic fillers.3-Aminopropyltriethoxysilane(KH550)modified steel slag(MSS)was successfully prepared,and its application in epoxy(EP)anti-corrosion coating was introduced.Due to the grafting of silane coupling agent functional groups onto the surface of SS,MSS exhibited improved solubility in xylene organic solvent and reduced agglomeration.When the MSS content was 15 wt.%,the contact angle of the MSS/EP composite coating was 101°,and the abrasion was only 0.07 g,compared with 56.2°and 0.13 g,respectively,for the pure EP coating.The corrosion resistance of coatings was investigated by performing the electrochemical test(impedance)after immersion in a 3.5 wt.%NaCl solution.The electrochemical test results showed that the impedance modulus of the 15 wt.%MSS/EP composite coating at low frequency(Z_(f)=0.01 Hz)was approximately 1.08×10^(7)Ωcm^(2),which was two orders of magnitude higher than that of the pure EP coating.

Alloys of uranium and molybdenum are considered as the future of nuclear fuel and defense materials.However,surface corrosion is a fundamental problem in practical applications and storage.In this study,the static and dynamic evolution of carbon monoxide(CO)adsorption and dissociation onγ-U(100)surface with different Mo doping levels was investigated based on density functional theory and ab initio molecular dynamics.During the static calculation phase,parameters,such as adsorption energy,configuration,and Bader charge,were evaluated at all adsorption sites.Furthermore,the time-dependent behavior of CO molecule adsorption were investigated at the most favorable sites.The minimum energy paths for CO molecu-lar dissociation and atom migration were investigated using the transition state search method.The results demonstrated that the CO on the uranium surface mainly manifests as chemical adsorption before dissociation of the CO molecule.The CO molecule exhibited a tendency to rotate and tilt upright adsorption.However,it is difficult for CO adsorption on the surface in one of the configurations with CO molecule in vertical direction but oxygen(O)is closer to the surface.Bader charge illustrates that the charge transfers from slab atoms to the 2π*antibonding orbital of CO molecule and particularly occurs in carbon(C)atoms.The time is less than 100 fs for the adsorptions that forms embryos with tilt upright in dynamics evolution.The density of states elucidates that the overlapping hybridization of C and O 2p orbitals is mainly formed via the d orbitals of uranium and molybdenum(Mo)atoms in the dissociation and re-adsorption of CO molecule.In conclusion,Mo doping of the surface can decelerate the adsorption and dissociation of CO molecules.A Mo-doped surface,created through ion injection,enhanced the resistance to uranium-induced surface corrosion.
